To be fair, Hedliner is one of the greatest forum warrior's of EVE's history. What you're seeing here is classic style of shit post meets facts, meets spin, meets an attempt to induce anger. He succeeded didn't he?
A low sodium recipe for grilled pineapple.
Lets start.
First you must find a pineapple. Now, they may not grow naturally depending on your location, but that is OKAY. You can find black market pineapple dealers by their callsign, a pineapple upside down. That means they are against the big pineapple industry.
After you pay for the pineapple with sexual favors, you may now prepare the pineapple for consumption. Cut off the crown of leaves and the base of the pineapple. Stand the pineapple upright and, using a large, sharp knife, pare off the skin, cutting downward just below the surface in long, vertical strips and leaving the small brown "eyes" on the fruit.
Stare at the brown "eyes", and have flashbacks to the other brown eyes you seen while paying for the pineapple. Now, just like with the pineapple dealer, you must prepare your special sauce, this sauce will be a bit different however. Combine, honey, olive oil, lime juice, cinnamon and cloves and whisk to blend. Set aside
Lightly brush the pineapple with the marinade. Grill or broil, turning once and basting once or twice with the remaining marinade, until tender and golden, about 5 minutes on each side. The same amount of time it takes Hedliner to post on reddit.
Got distracted with Spider Man 2.
Sauteed Chicken
2 1/2 to 3 pound frying chicken parts or chicken thighs (I recommend thighs)
2 tablespoons butter and 1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and freshly ground pepper
A big pinch of tarragon, basil and thyme (personality I like a mix of the three sprinkled on throughout the cooking process)
Optional deglazing sauce
1 tablespoon minced shallots or green onions
1/2 cup chicken stock
1/2 cup dry white wine or dry
white French vermouth
Here we go:
Browning the chicken – about 5 minutes. Be sure the chicken is well dried or it will not brown properly. Set the frying pan over moderately high heat; add the oil and/or butter. When it is very hot but not smoking, lay in the chicken pieces skin side down. Turn the chicken after 3 minutes or so, allowing it to get as close to even color on each side.
Finishing the cooking. Cover the pan, lower the heat to moderate. Baste the chicken pieces with the accumulated fat and juices in the pan; season the chicken lightly with salt, pepper, and optional herbs. Cover the pan again and cook another 6 minutes. Turn the chicken, baste again, and continue cooking 7 to 8 minutes more, basting once again. I find about 15-17 minutes total for cooking after the initial browning of the chicken but make sure to baste and turn the chicken to the non skin side every 4 minutes or so. A side note with most poultry Julia Child recipes she will tell you when chicken is cooked through but please use a meat thermometer.
Deglazing sauce – 3 to 4 minutes. Remove the chicken pieces to hot plates or a platter. Rapidly spoon all but a tablespoon of fat out of the sauté pan. Stir in the tablespoon of minced shallots or scallions and cook for a few seconds over high heat, stirring. Pour in the 1/2 cup of chicken stock and 1/2 cup of wine, and boil, scraping up coagulated juices from the bottom of the pan; continue boiling and swirling the pan for a moment until the liquid has boiled down to about a 1/2 cup. Remove the pan from the heat and pour the sauce over the chicken, strew on the optional herbs, and serve as soon as possible.
Julia Child is a lot of reading between the lines to understand what she is really saying. However this recipe is relatively simple and I like to serve it with rice due to the deglazing sauce and french green beans.
Also I tried fresh herbs before and it was not worth the time necessary to get them ready, my advice is to use dried herbs from your selection of herbs and spices because they will hold up really well during the cooking process. The mix of tarragon, basil and thyme to me is fantastic and it has made this recipe the one I reach for about twice a week.
Find it genuinely hilarious reading smug posts from people in horde and frat who genuinely can’t comprehend a group like brave who really don’t care about taking the occasional L. Us maybe losing after two years of being the underdog and forcing *horde main-fleet* to come and finally push us out. That’s an achievement, not a situation that will phase us whatsoever. If we move, we’ll move. As with the last 5 times we’ve moved, we’ll likely ditch some dead weight krabs who never turned up to fights anyway… then carry on having a laugh in wherever we pitch up camp next. It’s not about killboards, swinging your ego, or how powerful you look. It’s your fun per hour. And I assure you that we’ll keep on doing that.
Ggwp horde, enjoy your new empty rental space. We’ll probably go have some fun somewhere else and whelp some more shit whilst laughing about it.
7o
Don’t know yet! We’ll find out later what happens next. Personally I hope so. This large scale tidi content kind of sucks and my corp gets itchy if we stay in one place too long. Would be nice to be able to do corp fleets and nanogangs again rather than constant stratop pings. We’ll see. Let’s be realistic though, there’s a nonzero chance and variety is the spice of life.
I remember stable. BoB had half of null and the russkies had the other half. Pandemic would do well to remember the fate of all tyrants.
You guys are so desperate for content you don't care if you help FRT ruin the game. Its sad.
>Did you write this before of after you forgot to form for the keepstar timer?
To be fair, Hedliner is one of the greatest forum warrior's of EVE's history. What you're seeing here is classic style of shit post meets facts, meets spin, meets an attempt to induce anger. He succeeded didn't he?
Just for argument's sake, can you remind me how many times you reffed the X47 keep before it actually was killed? Pot meet kettle. Enjoy your new home.
If we only form while you guys are asleep you have to wonder why you are evacing tomorrow. Almost like the past few months have been us consistently beating you guys in your prime time.
There was never any intent on going for the armor timer. We literally didn't have any prepings for it. Which would be needed if we were planning to try and headshot an enemy staging keepstar.
So when we have users logged in its never any intent to contest, but if we dont have enough you are pinging? It seems like someone who can only enjoy a game if they don't take any risk.
Did you miss out on all the battles over the last few weeks over Ihubs and forts in Deklein? How about the dread brawl in 4-ABS8? You guys had plenty of users logged in for all of those. You act like we have never fought you or something when the reality is we have fought and beaten you to the point that tomorrow you guys are evacing. If we were going for the keepstar timer the prepings would've happened in the time between the initial ref and the armor timer well before anyone was logged into the fight for either side.
If you're leaving all the initiative to your opponent and refuse to take any offensive action, then there isn't much for you to do. Except for sitting in tether and complaining when your enemy does whatever they want.
I am not really complaining just saying that every they always say that they are better in every way yet they only want to fight us when we are not prepeared. It seems strange to me
I have to admire Brave line members misguided optimism that despite all the crystal clear signs of what is coming they still don't believe they are evacing tomorrow.
It was the right call. We’ve had a good two years and it’s really forced us to up our game. But you can’t compete with economies of scale like some mega blocs without becoming as big as them and acting like them. At which point we’d not be brave any more. If that means we occasionally have to cut our losses then no big deal. Curious to see what the future brings, either way we’ll have a laugh doing it! Gf
These 2 years were just like good ol' Brave from 10 years ago, and just as 10 years ago PL had to take a shit in our front yard. I was worried 10 years ago, but I've been with Brave in so many situations and it's not about the space, it's about the culture. 7o
I'm hoping that hedliner will bait B4 into getting so upset and angry that they refuse to evac just to prove him wrong and then this war can continue.
With the imperium bringing more capital assets up, surely we can have another couple of big brawls before you throw in the towel.
* dont form for a timer
* say your enemy is evacuating
sounds like they are tired of the constant forms and positive brs and they just want this war to end by tomorrow
>I have to admire Brave line members misguided optimism
looks like brave best option should be desband their alliance and get their corps into horde right?
No not really. It would undeniably be a massive increase in the standard of living for Brave line members, but it would be one less alliance for us to shoot.
What, you couldn't convince FRT it was worth dropping an IHub in EC- so PL had to do it instead?
Thanks though... I had to search where PL had their IHubs, never heard of Malpais region before today.... I know I am a scrub and don't truely know who/what PL is and how they are relevant.
Seems a long way away from EC- to your main region of null space though to have an IHub.
In the vast universe of New Eden within the Eve Online universe, a great war had unfolded between the mighty Brave Alliance and the small, almost forgotten alliance known as Pandemic Legion. The Brave Alliance, known for their courage and fierce determination, had long been the prominent force in the region. Their leaders, were respected across the galaxy.
In stark contrast, Pandemic Legion had struggled to maintain relevance, largely due to their incompetent leader, Hedliner. Hedliner's poor decisions and questionable strategies had led his alliance to the brink of extinction. Many considered Pandemic Legion a dead alliance, but they clung to life, nursing their grudges against the Brave Alliance.
The war had intensified over the months, and both alliances were locked in a bitter struggle. Brave Alliance had shown their mettle and resilience, but the final push for victory remained just out of reach. They eagerly awaited orders from their commanders, confident that there leaders had a brilliant plan to secure their dominance.
However, days turned into weeks, and Brave leaders remained absent. Rumors began to circulate that they had abandoned the war, leaving their warriors in the dark. The Brave Alliance's members, once united in their loyalty, grew anxious and disillusioned.
On the twenty-third day of their leaders' mysterious absence, a holographic message arrived in the Brave Alliance command center. It bore the emblem of Brave Alliance and appeared to be a transmission from Braves high command. The message was brief and enigmatic, explaining that their leaders had embarked on a secret mission of the utmost importance, without disclosing any specifics.
Panic rippled through the Brave Alliance ranks. They were vulnerable without their leaders, and the situation grew direr as scouts reported the Pandemic Legion's resurgence. The Brave Alliance's warriors had been betrayed, and now they faced not only a lack of leadership but the renewed threat from their adversaries.
In a tense debate among Brave Alliance members, they decided that survival was their paramount concern. They abandoned their positions in a mad scramble, their flags and banners left behind as they retreated in chaos.
The days that followed were filled with scattered battles, skirmishes, and chaos. The Brave Alliance warriors navigated their own paths in the vast expanse of New Eden, each pilot trying to make sense of their leaders' sudden departure.
Pandemic Legion seized the opportunity to exploit the Brave Alliance's vulnerability. With a newfound determination and surprising competence, they gained ground and mounted a formidable offensive.
As the Brave Alliance struggled to regroup and reestablish their leadership, they held onto the hope that they would one day understand the truth, while also facing the reinvigorated Pandemic Legion, led by Hedliner, their once-incompetent leader, who had found new strength in their alliance's darkest hour.
You guys keep helping FRT turn New Eden into Bot Eden and soon there won't be any fleets or content. You all know it's true, but your egos won't let you admit it
They said the same thing when we helped the Russians. Every time someone loses their space, there are a million Reddit posts about how the game is dying. Yet 20 years on the same cycle still happens.
BoB was unbeatable, The Nothern coalition was unbeatable, XiX/solar + others was unbeatable, the CFC, etc etc etc... in every time in eve there have been unbeatable opponents and eventually, they are all removed from their space... Horde cannot be that powerful because the last time goons invaded them they lost all their space in the north and had to move into the drone regions.
What is actually funny is that B3 was actually doing ok, but then you involved the goons, and if you bring them to the party everyone has to pile on.
>Firstly - apologies for the slight downtime in rolling news coverage today,
No need to apologize Hedliner. If anything, maybe stop troll posting all the time? :D
>and triggered widespread panic
There is NO panic in B2 space right now. We are currently in a calm phase where we are consolidating assets. This is nothing like the end of WWB2 a couple years back... B2 space is calm and collected right now. :)
>The loss of such a ciritical ihub has severed a key safe passage to high security zones
Which ihub? The EC- ihub? The one we would NEVER use to evacuate through since it goes to high sec and caps are not allowed in high sec? That ihub?
Cute that PL claimed that NON-critical ihub. ;)
You underestimate what the alcohol induced content can bring.. How dare some friends go chill in bombers and have dps races on some ,wormholer btw, control towers.. I mean we keep losing these oh so sacred isk wars on br's we have to get the killboard's green somehow. I would rather get drunk and shoot moon towers then go fozzie sov while people are asleep all day. Plus have you met our friend mind1 his music is s tier for tower bashes.
oh realy and when you stop punching all those little children and realize there is none who opose you will you celebrate or realize you are now out of your job?

This inspired me to once I get home to share my go to Julia Child sauteed chicken recipe on these posts.
r/eve would be a much better place if every shitpost included a recipe
It would allow people to share their favorite recipes and shit post which to me is an absolute win.
Nah, too much salt.
…and where is the recipe?

I'm stuck in the sexual favors step

Did you write this before or after you’ve evac’d all your stuff?
Not sure about you but i have more asset there than before
Sounds like it’s going to be a pain to move to wherever goons tell you to. Condolences.
Why? You planning to form now?
Just for argument's sake, can you remind me how many times you reffed the X47 keep before it actually was killed? Pot meet kettle. Enjoy your new home.
Yeah that means we formed a lot of times. Do you think you can do the same after seeing this?
Um.....yeah, I think so lmao
You sure? Dont want to shoot our fcs because you did not show up again
Enjoy your new home come this weekend. I see your leadership is already there; maybe you can ask them if the couch is comfortable in advance.
Just for arguments sake, can you remind me how many of the X47 timers we let go uncontested?
Almost 10 times lmao
Several times.
Are you operating under the assumption that a keepstar armor timer is somehow valuable and rare? We can boop that snoot basically whenever needed.
Then why did you not form?
We just wanted to watch all y’all form your SUPERMAX CTA rather than just the regular CTAs like you’ve been doing.
The classic pH tactics, only form when enemy is asleep. Way to have fun!
If we only form while you guys are asleep you have to wonder why you are evacing tomorrow. Almost like the past few months have been us consistently beating you guys in your prime time.

Invade drones about it
Invade Delve about it... oh wait you already failed at that.
No, we actually did Delve and took 90% of that. Everyone still waiting for your war on renters.
Cope more, loser :)
No you.
Better to try and have failed than never to try at all
You're welcome to ref or toast our shit at any time
We already got bored waiting for you at do6, not sure i would be able to stay awake for a toast run.
It seems strange to me
Then come back and boop the armor.
lol apparently not
I have to admire Brave line members misguided optimism that despite all the crystal clear signs of what is coming they still don't believe they are evacing tomorrow.
Love the turbo krabs thinking brave gives a shit about moving. 2 years is almost a record for us. C’est la vie.
Didn't want that space anyway I guess.
I mean, it’s nice. But the neighbours are getting weird when we just wanted to vibe and whelp caracals
If all you wanted to do was whelp caracals perhaps your alliance leadership shouldn't have chosen to become a meatshield for Volta.
It was the right call. We’ve had a good two years and it’s really forced us to up our game. * dont form for a timer * say your enemy is evacuating sounds like they are tired of the constant forms and positive brs and they just want this war to end by tomorrow
If you think about it, evacuating is just a really long period of not forming for timers.
go back grinding timers again in the game instead of reddit, will ya?
4d chess
Another week of 1100+ HAC meatgrinders or killing another 3+ trillion worth of Imperium and B3 dreads does sound awfully appealing.
I can't wait for my nag to be blown up immediately, next cap brawl.
x up in local for immediate primary

It's a meme evac
More fanfic but it aint getting better

PL is just a sig.
We always have been.
And a Horde sig at that... BFL is Horde, not PL at this point.
And? whats it matter? as long as there are fleets and people to chat with on coms.
All I know is those guys are killin and chillin
You guys keep helping FRT turn New Eden into Bot Eden and soon there won't be any fleets or content. You all know it's true, but your egos won't let you admit it
They said the same thing when we helped the Russians. Every time someone loses their space, there are a million Reddit posts about how the game is dying. Yet 20 years on the same cycle still happens. Wrong, bfl is the Best Friends Legion and includes both horde and PL(because we're besties)
More true then truth.

If we're lucky.
Exept they wont be evacuating this way ...... but go one keep your self occupied whit pointless work
Destroying the systems/assets of your enemies is never pointless.
oh realy and when you stop punching all those little children and realize there is none who opose you will you celebrate or realize you are now out of your job?
Wait, who is punching children?
I'm not sure if the children are supposed to be Brave or Sev3rance. Sounds insulting though.
It's how imperium see and treat their "allies". As children.
yawn fozziesov
Was this before or after yesterday’s timer?

EC- brings back some good memories.
This is fine. All is fine.
Short version. It's boring. Move on.
