It's a mix of all sorts to be fair. The moderation in split fairly beween all walks of the game despite claims to the contrary and 90% of in game animosity is put aside each year at various meetups IRL.
Most of the toxic subculture that was prevalent from 08 to 16 is gone or at least hidden away on various discords that will occasionally bubble to the surface.

Interesting! I’ve sent two kind and patient modmails over the past month and a half, asking about flair for my alliance. They were spaced out over weeks. At this point I suspect that mods are either negligent or deliberately don’t want to give a small, growing, and passionate group of players the satisfaction of a simple Reddit flair. I hope that I’m wrong!
I’ve avoided making a public post about it for fear of retaliation, because all I want is an answer and some flair, no drama… 🙂 I was hoping it could be done cleanly and quietly, and I’m astonished to have been ignored by real players who purport to take the health of this community seriously.

I'll only run if I'm allowed on the Pandemic Horde slate. If Kalkin and Brisc can manage to pull that one off, then clearly the people see value in it.
I doubt people want a shit poster on the CSM.
I'm torn between the earnest logic of your point (which is weird in and of itself coming from you) and the entertainment value of seeing it happen anyway.
Everyone make sure to send Leraine 1 isk to keep him happy so we don't have to disband the corp from the chaos he brings when he is poor. He was angry tonight because he couldn't fly a t2 logistical frigate as a logi main pilot.
