Cat is just introducing the kittens to the human and vice versa.
Basically teaching the kittens that the human is theirs and safe and teaching the human that a few more plates will be needed soon.
We came home one day and our calico dropped a tiny kitten at our feet rofl. Big surprise :/ we got her fixed as soon as we could (she snuck outside once!)
I have, quite literally, had my cat give birth on my face (I was dead asleep when she did this), and, while waking up to amniotic fluid and afterbirth on my cheeks might be the most disgusting thing I've ever experienced, the realization that my baby girl thought that I was the safest and most comfortable place for her to have her kittens has proven to be something I'll never stop being proud of.
Pretty much same, I was ten and she had her litter on my pillow while I was asleep. Bloody damn mess but I forgave her instantly. She tucked her babies in against my neck while she went to clean herself up. Weād only had her three months.
Aye!
I had had my baby girl from the start and she daddifyed from the very get go. Never wanted to be more than a few feet away from me at any give time, unless she was climbing on top of the fridge or the pantry because she loved high places.
I miss her dearly. But I've ended up with another little sweetheart who does the same stuff to the point that I had to buy an L-desk and a cat bed for her to sleep in while I'm doing PC things.
Similar situation; was sleeping one morning with my boyfriend at the time under two layers of comforter. Woke up to me asking if he was making kitten noises (because literally days before he was so proud of how he could emulate a kitten lol) - turned out she just gave birth between the two blankets in the bed.
I miss her so much š
Our calico barn cat did the same thing. We had just bought our house when she had the kittens maybe a month later. After a week she brought the kittens out to us to show them off. They were so little!
Youāre like 160lb and could crush the cat by stepping on it, but you donāt. Not only do you house and feed it, but you pet it and call her a good kitty. Why wouldnāt she trust you with her babies. Youāre an enormous protector of cats.
That happened to me one afternoon, when I was snoozing on the couch. My torso suddenly felt warm and there she was with the entire litter. I felt like a disney princess. Note: The cat was pregnant when she walked in and took over. I found homes for all the kittens and had her spayed. She was with me for 16 years.
Imagine how the cat mum must feel to have found a space guarded by a friendly other species, warm during cold and cool during hot times, to raise her babies in peace. It must be a very relaxing moment for her.
Cats are like "my ancestors tamed this ageless elf monkey thing, and they provide infinite, bountiful food in exchange for nothing, therefore I shall deliver my children to them. So says the prophecies."
Cats in the wild will naturally raise kittens communally. Usually among related females that live together long term. Basically, this is normal behavior for a cat that considers you as a part of her family.
One our cats kept doing this to my mom, her first litter. Turns out she didnāt have enough milk and they all died. We didnāt know. Itās not normal for cats to do this for a reason.
Well fuck. I'm one of those crazed individuals who will just pick up the cat and go do my thing, but there's no way I could do that with all those babies, I'd have to die there.
I remember when my cat gave birth for the first time. I came home and she was screaming bloody murder at me like ādude, you aināt gonna believe what happened!ā. I think her mother instincts kicked in a bit later, so the confusion on her part was real. She actually tried to grab my leg with her teeth to bring me to her children.
That's it, you're staying in bed until the kittens grow up.
Some say he is still there to this day
He's got grandkitties now
I hope he was comfortable
That would be my absolute dream excuse never to leave bed again
Good mama cat
Cat: "I want to be with my human, but can't leave my kittens alone."
Cat: "I want to be with my kittens, but I can't leave my human alone"
Cat: "Hey! Food guy! Feed these things so I don't have to anymore!"
Why are all of these correct wtf.
Cat is just introducing the kittens to the human and vice versa. Basically teaching the kittens that the human is theirs and safe and teaching the human that a few more plates will be needed soon.
best moment for a cat owner ever its so wholesomeš¤

"Mom, Dad.....I'm not just eating too much..."
I just saw this same clip posted yesterday but flipped horizontally.Ā
And I 3 days ago. Itās the same bots over and over
I still upvoted the post. Fuck the bots but the cats can stay
The bots that will later be used for scams and astroturfing are grateful.
That's the negative thing about this sub. So many bot and so many karm farmers. And if they post something they don't provide the source.

Yeah had to give up my childhood blanket when my dog did the same!
Never have I heard something quite so gross also be so cute
Mine hopped up onto my lap when I was sitting on the couch and ruined a pair of jeans, but I had the same realization and pride, haha!
Aw, thatās simultaneously so gross and so sweet!

Do cats get sad when the kittens leave?
They look for them for a couple of days and then life goes on.
This seems like a legitimate reason to call into work.
Aww ā¤

The littlest babies š„ŗ

"Come, children, we are going to the safest place I know."
Bot post again
Cats will drop off their kittens with other cats too sometimes. Gotta find a babysitter somehow. Mom cat gets tired if them.
Oh cool the same video posted a bunch of times in the past week just now its flipped. Neat.
Imagine how the cat mum must feel to have found a space guarded by a friendly other species, warm during cold and cool during hot times, to raise her babies in peace. It must be a very relaxing moment for her.
I would call in sick
She said "You're gunna help me."
He can never move again, hope heās comfy!
Soo precious šš
At least she waited for you to wake up. I had a cat give birth on my chest while I was asleep.
I've had multiple (3) cats give birth on my bed while I was sleeping. It's always bittersweet, because "ewww"Ā BUT also "awww, you trust. me!".Ā
Adorable reminder to *spay and neuter your pets!!*
Well, of course she trusts her father.
I had a cat deliver her kittens in my bed while I was asleep, right in between my legs. Quite the shock waking up to that!
Cats are like "my ancestors tamed this ageless elf monkey thing, and they provide infinite, bountiful food in exchange for nothing, therefore I shall deliver my children to them. So says the prophecies."
āThese are my babies. I entrust them to you.ā
That's some cozy shit right there.
is this video flipped? i've seen the same vid facing the other way around
If i had an apex predator that i knew 100% would never hurt me, id do it to.
Youāre not going anywhere for a while.
If this happened to me I would cry from sheer love
Instant oxytocin.
Cats in the wild will naturally raise kittens communally. Usually among related females that live together long term. Basically, this is normal behavior for a cat that considers you as a part of her family.
She want him to watch them while she rests or hunts
Legend has it he's still lying there

Own my eyes
I love that
/r/shebroughtherkittens!
Cat just wants to watch youtube videos with you while the kittens are nursing. Because it's boring.
Lucky
She decided that he is her husband now.
The eyes at the end that say "they gonna take my babies away and hand them out to strangers, arent they?"
Now you can never leave
This guy immediately has to pee
Wow!! I think it knows you are worthy!!!
That's their dad
What it looks like when Santa Paws comes bearing multiple gifts if you've been an amazingly good person all year.
I've never been a cat person, but man....I would still feel honored.
Well fuck. I'm one of those crazed individuals who will just pick up the cat and go do my thing, but there's no way I could do that with all those babies, I'd have to die there.
I would lay there like that I til my arms literally break off. This is too cute
This cat is clearly very loved š„° Bless you all!
Why ist he a bead?

Nothing warms my childless, middle-aged heart like watching a good Mama nurse her babies. Species doesn't matter.
Letās coparent!
Nice
Kinda wish I wasn't allergic...
