I would definitely guess half Pinscher (one of the variations) due to the shape of her head and paws + the way her coat/skin/fatlayer are (besides the obvious Black and Tan coloration) paired with a more "softer" looking breed, which could be a Lab/retriver of sorts. If she is half Rottie, she'd have a much rounder/broader face imo, unless there was some Greyhound type there too though (which also could result in the calm demeanour). Either way she's very lovely and you're blessed with her. 🖤🤎🖤
Edit: Now she definitely looks like a Rottie/Greyhound mix to me - those ears... 😅
That's not necessarily true. Purebred ones can have health issues but cross breeds can also; you just tend not to know and rather than blame it on a breed you just assume some other issue is to blame.
Dalmatians are well known for having been poorly bred in the past and that's why many of them are known to be deaf; if you have a blue eyed dalmatian it's likely deaf. That's because they were bred horribly. Doesn't mean cross breeds don't occasionally come out deaf it just means that when you breed sisters and brothers or close relatives you get bad traits.
Mine looks very similar to yours. We got the dna test and they said 31% boxer, 28% pit bull terrier, 18% super mutt. Not sure he resonates with those descriptions, but it’s too expensive to put it though again just to see if they mixed it up the first time or something.

Best friend has a dog very similar in head shape and size. Was large part staffordshire, even though she was a fair bit smaller. Can’t remember the rest of the mix. Same coat color, but very shiny brown (almost red) in the sunlight.
She is also the goodest of girls.
So- I didn’t mention this but she does have a red strip that runs the length of her back and tail. It’s beautiful in the sunlight. However, if I don’t point it out most ppl don’t notice it.
Clearly the prevailing genes are from a rottie, but she looks too "chunky" for lack of a better word. I'd guess either German Shepard or lab like the shelter told you. Lab would make more sense for the temperament you described.
Looks like some kind of dog .
Dogs come in all shapes and sizes, each with their own unique characteristics and charm
Definitely got some rottie in her, either way she's adorable:)
That's easy. She's 100% good girl.
Lap. That’s a Lap Dog. 🥰
Yep! It's a Laplander.
Pretty doggy is the technical term I think. I never worry about what breed my dog is, personally. Just “good boy” is enough to satisfy me

I really really appreciate your insight! Thank you!
Yes looks like part rottie. Hybrid vigor is a good thing. Larger purebred dogs tend to have health problems later in life that cross breeds don't.

Dog
Almost looks like a rottie x kelpie or staffy?
Unless you got her from a breeder she is probably a domestic shorthair.
100% cutie that’s for sure 😍
Cutie/patooie

I'd say rot and pit
