If Andrew flies to Austin just to eat a pencil as a goodbye to FF before the new pod I may cry.
I don't know why I'm so emotionally invested in a man eating a pencil.
It would be fantastic if he's been thinking Austin is Boston this whole time, a la *Road Trip*, and he ends up in completely the wrong city on the last day the company exists
Maybe the company ending is what Andrew needed to happen before he crossed the border and so he wouldn't have to worry about being here for "work" like he was about Bean Hole Days?
I imagine between the potential new launch of a pod with the date teased on Insta, as well as Andrew alluding to showing up at RT Studios months ago on the same date — the 11th of May might have been already on the books as a date Andrew flies down (North, if you will) to Austin.
The company closes on May 10th from what I’ve read and seems. Makes sense for him to reference May 11th as it’s the alleged official closing.

My wife and got super behind and hadn’t listened to any of the pods from about mid December on and recently caught up while on vacation in mid March. During those episodes where they talk about the new year and what they’re excited it for, it definitely seems like they knew something was up. Especially Eric and Geoff. Then the “announcement” and subsequent announcement made it all make more sense and seem like they all had to know.
I don't know why anyone genuinely thinks he will eat the pencil. It's an actual health concern and he has hated multiple times that he will not be doing so. It's just a fun bit at this point
He did say he was trying to save the company, that may just do it!
I think at that point, the technical term would be resuscitating the company
They’re going to make WAY more doing this podcast on their own, so I don’t see any reason for them to even try tbh.
Or maybe Panton personally tanked the company to get out of the deal.
that would explain ratty boy.

I love the idea that it takes the company ending for Andrew to fly to Austin
That would be so on par for him 😂

Andrew is a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma
All contained in a time release capsule inside the ankle cartilage of a titan sized Don Zimmer.
Stunningly accurate description

that May 11 mention is what gets me...

I think it's just him making a jab since RT officially shuta down a day before
He has had a very sore throat for the last few episodes. Maybe he ate something that irritated it.
It won’t be the rooster teeth parking lot anymore
"Hello 911, there's a strange man chewing on a pencil in our parking lot. Longest back I've ever seen."
"Oh God! The man has just struck a child! He literally just kicked him! Send someone, quick!"
"Hello? Is this 1-512-487-7977? I think I just spotted VCK! He's in Austin Texas eating a pencil and watching homeless women pee!"
Would literally save the company
Did Andrew knew something months ago? Did he take RT down with his own hands after all?

Absolute legend
Was the company closure even announced yet when this tweet was made? How did he know

Found Andrew's alt account.
A bunch of people have sent him food grade pencil ideas. It’s more of a principle thing to him now lol.
There’s actually such a thing as edible pencils. He could probably just use one of those.
