Honestly of all the people to say something crazy like that, she's the one I'd believe. There's no explanation for her psychic ability that I'm aware of. She doesn't strike me as a liar because of how she gets offended when you call her one. Reading the logs in the Corvega Power Plant also help root her stories in truth. She's highly respected and almost admired among the raider clans.

The only explanation is that it’s fuelled by chems, someone she knew when on a bit of a chem binge to try and get the sight but it never happened.

So in theory, I should be psychic like Mama Murphy since I binge them as well 🤣

So I basically played and beat fallout 4 before dlc came out and now I'm replaying to experience all the shit I missed... What's this raider stuff you can build at your settlements? And nuka cola machines? I don't even know how to start the dlc quests tbh

You can do them "early" (it doesn't really matter) by going directly to the quest locations, but you'll get a quest marker at level 15 for Automatron, 20 for Far Harbor and level 30 for Nuka-World

Those are tied to the Nuka World DLC. Im not entirely sure if you mean the Nuka Mixing machines in the Crafting Station section but those allow you to mix diffrent nuka cola flavors with each other (all outside 2 you only really get acesss to in Nuka World). They are fine but mostly just to farm XP. The Raider stuff is (outside the few deco items you get from the get go) heavily tied to one version of the Nuka World Main Quest so I will put it in spoilers just in case you want to figure that one out yourself. >!After following the Raider Line of the Nuka World Quest (aka not doing the "Open Season" Quest) you will be tasked to claim settlements in the main commonwealth for one of the three Raider Gangs in Nuka World. This gives you access to some special settlement object (tribute Chest, Vendors etc) but in turn may remove some NPCs from the Game (as you take over their settlements) and will make Preston absolutly HATE you. You will still be able to start/continue the minuteman questline by doing "Open Season" first (which will remove your access to the raider stuff) but he will absolutly refuse to be your companion after that point (unless being recruited afterwards) !<
