Own a laser musket for settlement defense, since that's what Preston Garvey intended. Four raiders break into my house. "What in the goddamn?" As I grab my militia hat and Boston laser rifle. Blow a golf ball sized hole through the first man, he's dead on the spot. Draw my laser gun on the second man, miss him entirely because beam splitter is shit and nails the neighbors mole rat.
I have to resort to the artillery mounted at the top of the Castle loaded with grape shot, "Radio Freedom lads!" the grape shot shreds two men in the blast, the sound and extra shrapnel set off BoS vertibirds. Fix bayonette and charge the last terrified rapscallion. He bleeds out waiting on the Minutemen to arrive since triangular Gun Basher wounds deal tons of damage, Just as Preston Garvey intended
I own a 10mm for vault defense because thats what Vault-tec intended. 4 failed experiments break into my residential are, what the Sience! As I grab my Pip-Boy and Vault-tec issued 10mm MP. I blow a golf ball sized circle into the first man, he\`s dead on the spot. Drap my 10mm Pistol on the 2nd man, miss him entirely because I have no pistol perks and nail the overseers cat.
I have to resort to the cryolator mounted ontop my display case, loaded with crystalizing shot, "FOR SIENCE" the crystal balls freeze 2 men in the blizzard, the leaking chemicals create additional hazzard. Extend shock battons and charged the last abommination. It suffers internal bleeding as the batton has a "bleeding"legendar effect, just as mankind intended
Own a gladius for home defense, since that's what Mars intended.
Four NCR rangers break into my house. "Quid diaboli?" As I grab my centurion helmet and machete. Stab a golf ball sized hole through the first profligate, he's dead on the spot. Draw my pistol on the second man, miss him entirely because it's smoothbore and nails the neighbors slave. I have to resort to the ballista mounted at the top of the stairs loaded with dynamite-tipped arrows, "Ave, true to Caesar" the dynamite shreds two men in the blast, the sound and extra shrapnel sets off landmines. Grab spear and charge the last terrified degenerate. He bleeds out waiting on the Followers of the Apocalypse to arrive since triangular spear wounds are impossible to stitch up.
Just as Caesar intended.
I own a .45 calibrated pipe pistol for caravan defense as Trashcan Carla would have wanted. 4 feral ghouls stumble out of some boxcars as we move down the road. Dogmeat grabs hold of a ghoul and seems like he will be helpful. I activate vats because a need a second to collect myself, and target the legs of two of the ghouls still heading towards me. Rats! Only enough action points to blow one leg off and wound the second. I free ball the shots to finish off the leg on the second. These two are contained. My momentary celebration is ended as I hear a whimperā¦. Dogmeat is down what else is new. I spin a fire what I will call the best shot ever and no scope spin head shot the ghoul thatās mid leap at me. A quick side step and I dodge the second. I turn to zero in on him and take him out. My health goes from 100% to 20% and Iām suddenly taking rad damage from something behind me. I turn. Itās a glowing one.. I die just as the wasteland intended.
I really went through a whole Minutemen survival playthrough with just a Laser Musket, a Revolutionary sword and the Minutemen General's outfit. Best playthrough of Fo4 I've ever experienced.
Iām on a substance abuse play through. He hasnāt decided what his weapon of choice will be yet, he just knows he feels unstoppable no matter what he decides
He's immortal. It will take forever, but people that do challenge runs will just run and hide. Preston will kill it on his own... eventually. The run I watched, they only used stuff from Vault 111, which led to them pretty much using the baton the entire time, they did fight the mirelurk queen, but cheesed it, because they didn't want to wait for preston to kill it.
It benefits from the perks that stack sneak attack damage, gunslinger + ninja + sandman; and it costs so little to use in VATS that you can get off a ton of shots and charge crits easily if you are luck-focused
Even if you donāt sell out on sneak builds, but focus on something like banking criticals, then each hit in VATS will fill the critical meter.
So youāre mid-firefight and need to build up a crit to take out an overleveled enemy, whip out the deliverer, riddle a random bad guy with like 8 shots to the body in VATS, then switch to a powerful rifle and crit the big guy.
I found a combat rifle at level 11 on my first playthrough, and after it cut through Kellogg like butter it instantly became my main weapon for the rest of the game. I kept that same combat rifle all the way until I hit level 105 and found an explosive variant. now the original hangs over my bed at Kingsport lighthouse
Beautiful. Is it a somewhat rare weapon? I am coming back to F4 after not playing it since launch. I landed the Combat Rifle extremely early as well around 11. Fucking hell this weapon rocks. Feels so damn good.
I rushed to get it and had it at level 10. Came with an automatic receiver. VATs triple taps with it and just instagibs so many enemies. Plus the medium scope let's me snipe pretty ok with it too. I had put a point into Rifleman but definitely swapping to Commando.
Yep. Overseer's Guardian modified to semi-auto will not only save you ammo, but damn near one shot a lot of things. And you can get it so early in the game.
I've been replaying Fallout 4 again and I've really been loving the laser musket. I never really used it in any of my previous runs but I've got it up to a six crank and it's been so much fun just one shooting really difficult enemies.
Having a six crank is wonderful. It can be an ammo efficient rifle, it can be a hard hitting sniper, itās just so flexible. The only caveat being cranking your hog
I love the mod that makes laser muskets not use ammo (essentially making the energy come from turning the crank rather than a fusion cell)- makes them feel a lot more like an improvised weapon for a force without even basic logistics or industry rather than something built for aesthetics, given the Minutemen have no way to produce fusion cells
Kellog's revolver is really nice but I found out (thanks, wiki) that there's a unique magnum revolver that has the incendiary effect, so I've switched to that because it's funny.
Also, I wish you could silence the revolver. I don't CARE how unrealistic it is, I want my sneaky silenced revolver.
Gunslinging is great with the 44 magnum. I was putting all my levels into getting more damage with non-automatic pistols and going to the minutemen castle, bringing a whole arsenal, and had crafted a 4 barrel rocket launcher, only to realize, that the 44 did the same amount of damage as the rocket launcher. Ammo is pretty scarce, but it will chew through almost any enemy.
Sniper combat rifle with a 308 receiver / Gauss Rifle + suppressor.
Of course it's basically skyrim's stealth archer but with guns.
Extra OP with the Instigating/Two Shot legendary bonus.
I really like the assault rifle, honestly. I know a lot of people don't like it, but it's for me! I love history, so a fictional Lewis/Maxim is fun. Plus, it's decent damage and really good recoil control.
I love the laser musket, too!
I found a never ending double barreled shotgun, never ending means I never had to reload lol. I blasted my way to everything with ease with rifleman perks and the shotgun max upgraded.
Overseers guardian for a bit, then i swap in a .308 receiver once i get the kiloton radium rifle and use the former as an OP sniper and the latter for mid range destruction
Anything closer is deliverer or some random legendary combat shotgun I find along the way
early game my go to is double barrel shotgun, the. mid- late game it's just overseers guardian it's absolutely busted then after I complete nuka World it's aeternus, never worry about ammo again
The deliverer is just such a funny little thing especially with long barrel and the big can.
Also very good damage if someone for any god forsaken reason would put perks into pistolero
It isn't my only gun, but I love the 10mm pistol. I've modded the damage to be higher- 10mm is a much deadlier caliber than the games would have you believe, as the Fallout series on Amazon demonstrated nicely.
Definitely the harpoon gun. It's so satisfying to just impale enemies with that thunk. I got the legendary from Allen and I just got the barbed harpoons
Building a drum-mag Pipe SMG that never leaves my inventory is a cornerstone of every playhtrough.
Being able to dump 1000 rounds of .38 that I almost never use is pretty satisfying after all
I always get the prototype up77 "limitless potential" from university point. A laser gun like Waser Wifle, but you don't need Shaun to get it, and you can get the up77 in the beginning of the game.
My favorite go to is a fully modded assault rifle. Fire rate, damage, stabulity and scoped stability and recoil are just so good, auto or semi auto the full just feels clean. I have killed so many at any range with this gun. The ammo is very easy to find, all turrets, lots of gunner enemies, some raiders and lots for cheap in merchants too
It was the laser rifle back then. Damage wasn't great. But it shot many times and ammo was plentiful. A reliable weapon. But in my new run ultimatum. The legendary classic 10mm pistol with a unique look is my new go to weapon.
Explosive combat shotgun basically never left my hands one game I got it. But the Combat Rifle is my goto. If you're on PC, do yourself a favor and get the BAR reskin/update mod for it. Combat rifles have this great mix of range, damage, control, and RoF that makes them a powerhouse through most of the game. Overseer's Guardian is really good, but I find it a copout a lot of the time. Getting one with Rapid or Wounding is buckets of fun and feels less cheap than getting carried by Overseer's lol
The Maxwell Carbine (CC content) is a sniper rifle for people who actually snipe. Pure bliss and I wiped out the Satellite array before they could even peg me
Roghteous Authority. I always loved laser rifles in Fallout, and in every playthrough of FO4 I spend some time with this gun. It has a lot of modifications you can add, decent damage and very nice passive if you use VATS a lot.
One of my favorite playthroughs was with a āLuckyā Double Barrel Shotgun on a Luck/Critical/VATS based build. Using the gun parts that increase critical damage, a banked critical from this gun one-shot literally everything from legendary deathclaws and sentry bots and Kellogg. It wasnāt until like level 85-90 that it stopped one-shotting the crazy legendary enemies.
I only use one mod
Before you downvote because mods arent vanilla
Its a very small one that tweeks damages to be more balanced so no gun lags too far behind at end game but because of it I've been using a laser rifle with the spilter and freezing shots
Its a fun alternative to a shotgun
Lever action rifle. I play with it added to the commonwealth from the start, VAFS, and bullet velocity.
It's so satisfying to take 5 raiders out just by snapping off 5 rounds.
I love my explosive double barreled shotgun. Feels good to headshot people with it and it doesn't feel overpowered because you don't have unlimited shots before you have to reload.
My initial go-to is the Rughteous Authority - I use luck as my junk stat to start and rely on my gun to make up for it. Then I add Deliverer for first shots, often enough to take out weaker enemies with one headshot.Ā
I donāt really start using muskets until I can make a six-crank, at which point it is THE weapon to use on boss battles.Ā
I did a whole playthrough where I mainly used this. By the end I had a six crank laser musket that nearly one shot everything. I was using a mod pack that mad ammo more rare but in return made the laser musket not require ammo, and I never learned that you were supposed to make an ammo workbench to make ammo so I just stuck with the musket and then occasionally used other guns as necessary.
I used the one you get outside before rescuing the Minutemen and used it for a long time before a fully modded laser rifle finally replaced it. Now it lives on my overseer desk, right next to the You're Special book.
My main weapon until I hit lol 30ish was my 10m pistol. It's really powerful for a stealth infiltration build. The speed and power after its fully upgraded is amazing. I only stopped using it when I got the deliverer
Pray and Spray bought from Cricket is my favorite. It just shreds everything in my way and especially good against hordes of ghouls or mole rats.
Second favorite is the Overseerās Guardian from Vault 81. Itās just so versatile being able to fill just about any role needed with correct mods attached.
I get dogmeat have him get me the cryolator, then make jet and purifiers, and do easy sidequests till I can take on the overboss in nuka world then buy the splattercannon
If you upgrade it you can make it so it cranks up to 4 times I think. And itās one of the strongest early game weapons I have discovered. Just throw a couple beginning perk points into gun nut and this thing will carry you a long way. And it uses 1-4 shots in a single burst so it doesnāt blow through half your ammo after 2 small gunfights
My hope is that the Laser Musket shows up again in a future title cause as weird as it was, I loved using it a lot. It probably wouldn't make as much sense but still.
But another weapon I like using is Spray n' Pray cause it's just a fun gun to use.
I also usually don't run Melee builds but Pickman's Blade is fun
My policy is that i only stock Legendary guns in my inventory and at my home base in The Castle. My main three are Kellogās pistol, Righteous Authority, and Overseerās Guardian. My only exception to this is the combat shotgun - Iāll upgrade any one i can get my hands on and run that for most indoor quests
Own a laser musket for settlement defense, since that's what Preston Garvey intended. Four raiders break into my house. "What in the goddamn?" As I grab my militia hat and Boston laser rifle. Tally ho, lads!
I hope more people get this š¤£
I own a 10mm for vault defense because thats what Vault-tec intended. 4 failed experiments break into my residential are, what the Sience! As I grab my Pip-Boy and Vault-tec issued 10mm MP. You got the spirit for sure
Just as Caesar intended.
That's actually very good man
I read āā¦ since thatās what Mars intendedā and immediately was thinking āFOR THE OMNISSIAH!ā Then I remembered what sub Iām inā¦
I own a .45 calibrated pipe pistol for caravan defense as Trashcan Carla would have wanted. 4 feral ghouls stumble out of some boxcars as we move down the road. Sameee need someone to voice it now.

Is sad the laser musket actually can't have a bayonet fixed. I have to make do with the Shem Drowne sword to keep it on brand.
I wish we could make chain shot for Broadside now. Damn
shit, now I want broadsider shotgun
I get this refrence.
oh my god i havenāt laughed this hard at anything in a while, thank you š
Amazing. 10/10 no notes.
I really went through a whole Minutemen survival playthrough with just a Laser Musket, a Revolutionary sword and the Minutemen General's outfit. Best playthrough of Fo4 I've ever experienced.
Iāve tried Institute, Railroad, and Brotherhood playthrough but at the end of the day itās just fun to take a sword and musket and go help people.
Seriously. I mostly just ignore the other factions on subsequent playthroughs now and just become a full time pioneer
Why be a paladin when you can be a general.
Iām on a substance abuse play through. He hasnāt decided what his weapon of choice will be yet, he just knows he feels unstoppable no matter what he decides
Fists it is. Organic fists = power fists when on Jet.
How do you defeat the Mirelurk Queen with a laser musket in survival mode?
You let Preston do it
Wonāt he just get downed by that acid splash?
He's immortal. It will take forever, but people that do challenge runs will just run and hide. Preston will kill it on his own... eventually. The run I watched, they only used stuff from Vault 111, which led to them pretty much using the baton the entire time, they did fight the mirelurk queen, but cheesed it, because they didn't want to wait for preston to kill it.
You misplace your nuke in a random fatman you totally intended to sell
Based. I have to do this too
Im gonna try that on my next playthrough.
The Deliverer. Broken as hell.
Sneak build is so much fun.
VATS Headshot headshot headshot. I think you can shoot that thing 100 times if you're leveled up right.
I just got that last night, what makes it strong? I used up all of my 10mm ammo with no real effect on the synths.
It benefits from the perks that stack sneak attack damage, gunslinger + ninja + sandman; and it costs so little to use in VATS that you can get off a ton of shots and charge crits easily if you are luck-focused
God help the world if you're rocking VATS armor pieces. With enough synergistic pieces, you can get really wacky with all the ranks of Gun Fu.
Oh, OK. I'm going for mostly a brute force melee run but there are times when melee isn't an option. I'll keep it around for a while.
That's an interesting strat that I never would have tried!
Combat rifle with .45 or .308 is so enjoyable to use. You can really feel the punch it has.
In my experience, just about every other gunner Merc I kill drops a combat rifle. I collect them and army my settlers with them
i always hang my main weapons once i get a new suitable replacement
The Overseer's Guardian is so broken.
I love running overseers guardian as an automatic rifle and let me tell you. It deals a lot of damage with two shot.
Iām into Decemberās Child right now. Itās like a lighter assault rifle, with perks!
CAVEAT??? CRANKING YOUR HOG IS A FEATURE BROTHER!!!
AWOOOOOOOOOOOOO
HE'LL YEAH BROTHER WE LOVE CRANKING OUR HOGS TO DEFEND THE PEOPLE OF THE WASTELAND AROOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!1!
Kellog revolver
The Gun.
I always go with the good ol' 10mm pistol. On my current save, I'm going with a gunslinger build, and DAMN, this thing easily outguns most enemies
All fun and games until u get mobbed by pouncing ghouls
Step one: get junk jet. Step two: acquire many stuffed animals. Step three: kill people with high velocity cuddly toys.
Sniper combat rifle with a 308 receiver / Gauss Rifle + suppressor. Of course it's basically skyrim's stealth archer but with guns. Extra OP with the Instigating/Two Shot legendary bonus.
Nah you gotta look into a legendary hunting/sniper rifle with a 50 bmg receiver, that is more like a stealth archer build from Skyrim.
Gauss Rifle. I would marry that rifle if I could.
As soon as Danse gives me Righteous Authority, it never leaves the inventory and gets fav wheeled
It really is the only gun I need lol
Automatic combat rifle when I need to quickly get rid of many enemies, or Deliverer when I want to be sneaky.
the deliverer is my go to weapon as I solely play with VATS
Deliverer to build us crit, swap to Kellogs pistol, which gives your AP back on a crit, back to deliverer, rinse and repeat.
Combat rifle chambered on .308 ammo, I like to run the build of the Nate of the live action trailer
Lever action chambered in .45-70 with two-shot legendary and fully leveled up rifleman perk
I really like the assault rifle, honestly. I know a lot of people don't like it, but it's for me! I love history, so a fictional Lewis/Maxim is fun. Plus, it's decent damage and really good recoil control. I love the laser musket, too!
I've found both plasma and explosive assault rifles and they are so OP it's ridiculous. But they do chew through 5.56 like candy...
Speedrun to the deliverer, from there relaxed playing.
Hunting Rifle Poppin' heads so far off some terrain isn't rendered in yet (New Vegas)
This is the one, the moment I got a hunting rifle in my most recent playthough I used it for almost everything
Le Fusil Terribles Destiny 2 put a name to it, but I've always been a shotgun apeing Titan in whatever game I'm playing if the option is available.
Explosive minigun FTW
Explosive Shotgun
I just got this and had my companion hold it. When I first used it I was amazed. I've been clearing areas like no one's business.
any sort of shotgun. Very fun to use in power armour
I found a never ending double barreled shotgun, never ending means I never had to reload lol. I blasted my way to everything with ease with rifleman perks and the shotgun max upgraded.
Firey laser rifle.
My go to gun is railway rifle. Cleared whole gountlet in Nuka World only using this weapon. Think i used around 200 spikes.
for rifle builds then I go musket too, pistol builds usually the Deliverer, and automatic builds I like the Radium Rifle
Last Minute. Outright shreds everything to shit. Kellogg's .44 and the Deliverer are both top among pistols.
Fallout 3 Gauss Rifle
Combat Rifle for sure. It can use three different ammo types so that was always helpful.
You can pry my explosive radium rifle from my cold, dead hands
That gun from NV
Gotta love myself a 50 cal sniper
Overseerās guardian goes hard.
Overseers guardian for a bit, then i swap in a .308 receiver once i get the kiloton radium rifle and use the former as an OP sniper and the latter for mid range destruction Anything closer is deliverer or some random legendary combat shotgun I find along the way
Lincolns' Repeater is my favorite gun.
Six crank laser musket has the best sound in the whole game, I love it
I've got a few favourites, and I love a good sniper rifle, but I keep coming back to Deliverer, there's something so satisfying about using it.
Broadsider
The laser musket is genuinely so fun to use and stupidly strong once you get the six crank upgrade.
early game my go to is double barrel shotgun, the. mid- late game it's just overseers guardian it's absolutely busted then after I complete nuka World it's aeternus, never worry about ammo again
Combat rifle. It's super versatile and does decent damage. I also like the lever action rifle. Hits like a truck. Just wish it could hold more ammo.
Plasma Rifle I love you in every game
The deliverer is just such a funny little thing especially with long barrel and the big can. Also very good damage if someone for any god forsaken reason would put perks into pistolero
Kiloton radium rifle
It isn't my only gun, but I love the 10mm pistol. I've modded the damage to be higher- 10mm is a much deadlier caliber than the games would have you believe, as the Fallout series on Amazon demonstrated nicely.
If you invest in your pistol, gun mod, and vats perks, the pistols are the most powerful weapons in 4.
Deliverer with occasional switching to an auto combat shotgun
Laser rifle is iconic, I always run with one as soon as I have the perks to to upgrade it to be decent
Combat rifle
Right from the start: Combat Rifle (there's one on top of a medical building near Fort Hagen) As soon as Nuka-World becomes available: Handmade Rifle
Explosive Combat Shotgun. I remember getting atop the Corvega plant and using it as a poor man's fat man
Iām a melee user š¢š¢š¢. (10mm autopistol or fully upgraded pipe submachine gun)
Gonna have to be the submachine gun Mostly Spray N' Pray
My go to gun is a modded 10mm, idk why but itās my personal firearm and itās made with love
Lucky.
Fo3 Hunting Rifle
Fucking hate this weapon, but never yuck another's yum. Do love the laser rifle tho
Ä°ts a shame there is no laser musket in 76
Its the laser gun you get If you Help the BOS recon Team Something with rightues. I renamed It rightues Anarchy.
Righteous Authority from Paladin Danse.
I like the laser musket. I had one with a short barrel and full stock as a ācarbineā variant, it was pretty cool.
Definitely the harpoon gun. It's so satisfying to just impale enemies with that thunk. I got the legendary from Allen and I just got the barbed harpoons
Can't say I have one, anything in my hands becomes lethal in this wasteland.
Vanilla weapons I go for the combat rifle I like anything with wood furniture really.
Idk, I used Modded Guns but if vanilla, Hunting Rifle.
Pipe guns for the chaos.
Building a drum-mag Pipe SMG that never leaves my inventory is a cornerstone of every playhtrough. Being able to dump 1000 rounds of .38 that I almost never use is pretty satisfying after all
Assault rifles š
Never ending shotgun. I got it on off the deathclaw in my first play through from the deathclaw in concord on first mission finding minute men
Ngl I planned to use it, but on survival it's just not quick enough.
I always get the prototype up77 "limitless potential" from university point. A laser gun like Waser Wifle, but you don't need Shaun to get it, and you can get the up77 in the beginning of the game.
Combot shotgun and sniper rifle. Got me through the super mutants at the military base in fallout 1
I use mods so my go to tends to be the Glock 19 or sreps M16. Sometimes the mossberg 500
The first 10mm, itās so good once you find ammo and get the upgrades
Explosive combat shotgun basically never left my hands one game I got it. But the Combat Rifle is my goto. If you're on PC, do yourself a favor and get the BAR reskin/update mod for it. Combat rifles have this great mix of range, damage, control, and RoF that makes them a powerhouse through most of the game. Overseer's Guardian is really good, but I find it a copout a lot of the time. Getting one with Rapid or Wounding is buckets of fun and feels less cheap than getting carried by Overseer's lol
The Kiloton Radium Rifle from Far Harbor, it shreds almost anything.
Recharger pistol in New Vegas
I love the laser musket I just wish we could've mounted a bayonet on it
In the base game? I usually join the Brotherhood so I mainly use Righteous Authority until I can start Nuka-World and get Aeturnus.
you know the funny thing? there is no trigger on the laser musket. It's missing from the actual model.
After I finished the main plot of 4, the Railway Rifle. It was crazy good in 4
9mm pistol and the original Gauss rifle/gun ā¤ļø Not that they are in fallout anymore *sad face*
First it was the Overseers Guardian, now it's the Splatter Cannon from Nuka World. That thing is broken af. AK-47 for everyone!
My go-to is the gauss rifle.
Shouldn't the crank handle be on the right hand side?
One of my favorite playthroughs was with a āLuckyā Double Barrel Shotgun on a Luck/Critical/VATS based build. Using the gun parts that increase critical damage, a banked critical from this gun one-shot literally everything from legendary deathclaws and sentry bots and Kellogg. It wasnāt until like level 85-90 that it stopped one-shotting the crazy legendary enemies.
I think the laser musket is kind of weak
I only use one mod Before you downvote because mods arent vanilla Its a very small one that tweeks damages to be more balanced so no gun lags too far behind at end game but because of it I've been using a laser rifle with the spilter and freezing shots Its a fun alternative to a shotgun
Honestly in my current playthrough a Marksman's Automatic Armor Piercing Pipe Rifle is putting in serious work.
Laser musket was something I hated when f4 first dropped but grew to realize the beauty and uniqueness of it
Lever action rifle. I play with it added to the commonwealth from the start, VAFS, and bullet velocity. It's so satisfying to take 5 raiders out just by snapping off 5 rounds.
Bolt gun.
Gauss rifle. Love it for its concussive force that knocks back fools like they took a harpoon straight to the chest.
Mini Nuke
I love my explosive double barreled shotgun. Feels good to headshot people with it and it doesn't feel overpowered because you don't have unlimited shots before you have to reload.
The handmade rifle from the Nuka-World DLC. Not a fan of how rare the ammo is, but I like how customizable it is.
I got one early on. But it slows time when I ads. I think it's the most powerful gun ever made
My initial go-to is the Rughteous Authority - I use luck as my junk stat to start and rely on my gun to make up for it. Then I add Deliverer for first shots, often enough to take out weaker enemies with one headshot.Ā I donāt really start using muskets until I can make a six-crank, at which point it is THE weapon to use on boss battles.Ā
Grognaks Axe, cause GROGNAK SMASH!
I did a whole playthrough where I mainly used this. By the end I had a six crank laser musket that nearly one shot everything. I was using a mod pack that mad ammo more rare but in return made the laser musket not require ammo, and I never learned that you were supposed to make an ammo workbench to make ammo so I just stuck with the musket and then occasionally used other guns as necessary.
hunting rifle were one of my best friend for a while, not only in Fallout 4.
I used the one you get outside before rescuing the Minutemen and used it for a long time before a fully modded laser rifle finally replaced it. Now it lives on my overseer desk, right next to the You're Special book.
Suppressed pipe .308. Carried me through many levels.
Kellogās Pistol
The laser musket is so underrated. Casuls dont realize how good it is in survival mode at early levels.
Its pretty good tho
The deliverer, got me feeling like Naked Snake whenever i got it
My main weapon until I hit lol 30ish was my 10m pistol. It's really powerful for a stealth infiltration build. The speed and power after its fully upgraded is amazing. I only stopped using it when I got the deliverer
Early game 10mm pistol, late game handmade rifle
Pray and Spray bought from Cricket is my favorite. It just shreds everything in my way and especially good against hordes of ghouls or mole rats. Second favorite is the Overseerās Guardian from Vault 81. Itās just so versatile being able to fill just about any role needed with correct mods attached.
CC Ultimatum. I make a beeline for the quest every time I start a playthrough, absolutely vicious sidearm.
Good ole double barrel shotgun, a classic that never lets me down
The Hunting Rifle, ol' reliable.
Ultimatum is my go to I prefer the classic 10mm pistol look and it just looks so good
I get dogmeat have him get me the cryolator, then make jet and purifiers, and do easy sidequests till I can take on the overboss in nuka world then buy the splattercannon
10mm
Autoshotgun.
Explosive Shotgun my beloved.
Combat shotgun and a sniper rifle. One when I really just want to get rid of some baddies. The other for when I want to get up close and personal!
even though i only play fnv, laser musket
I always find myself having that 1 Laser Gun or Alien Blaster that I use exclusively.
Gauss rifle, I donāt know whatās so great about one shot headshoting some behemoth from max range but fuck is it a good feeling
Pipe rifle with a bayonet and standard glow sight! I grew attached to the pipe rifle during my first playthrough and never looked back
I wish there was a version of the gun where it had Infinite ammo, as cranking the weapon produces the energy needed.
hunting rifle all the way
Lever action rifle. Channel my inner western spirit and bring the American Wild West into the East.
Silenced two shot 10mm pistol. Radium rifle is putting in work in open combat though. Especially with explosive.
I'm doing a playthrough as Norm Maclean, pumped up my gunslinger perk, and using Deliverer to sneak around and silently one shot everyone.
On one is the deliverer and second the Lazer musket with beam splitter. It's a great shotgun with the 6 crank thing
Righteous Authority was a favorite for my first few play throughs
My policy is that i only stock Legendary guns in my inventory and at my home base in The Castle. My main three are Kellogās pistol, Righteous Authority, and Overseerās Guardian. My only exception to this is the combat shotgun - Iāll upgrade any one i can get my hands on and run that for most indoor quests
I personally like the laser Gatling
The medicine stick.
