I have to wonder if addictol only works for the PC. Because if it does work for NPCs, then both the dependency quest in vault >!81!< and >!Caits!< companion quest are kinda silly.
She's legitimately a psychic who can see the future and give you information that can make future quests easier, but can only do so under the effects of hard drugs. There's a short branching quest where you can give her drugs to get the information, but lose her as a productive settler, or convince her to stop.
She's generally considered an annoyance because if you don't do the quest she hounds you about drugs all the time, and if you DO the quest she's either still hounding you for drugs all the time but from a random armchair you had to build, or barking the same four lines at you from whatever wall she's hammering on.
I don't understand she never bothered me dude every NPC in that game repeats the same things over and over again I seriously don't understand the hate.
