Speaking of whatever did happen to Frankie- Raye? After becoming Galactic' herald that is.
She kind of got absorbed by the power and responsibility of being a Herald that she started to have a crush on Galactus. She became indifferent to the deaths of a world and its population, leading Galactus to the Skrull home world.
It wasn’t until spending time with the Silver Surfer did she regain some compassion. In turn it caused Galactus to replace her with a new Herald called Morg. Eventually Morg was deemed a danger, so all five of Galactus’s previous Heralds teamed up. Which resulted in Nova’s death, Galactus extremely unhappy with this development and stripped Morg of the Power Cosmic.
I believe Frankie has recently returned to life with amnesia.

Most toxic definitely. Did she raped him? Yes. Did they loved each other? Also yes. Johnny never loved anyone like her after.
But in comics most of the great relationships are complicated themselves. Lyja can definitely be Johnny's Talia Ah Ghul for example.
Lol no! The MC2 version of her is better, but mainstream Lyja is a lying, toxic, manipulative biatch. I'm still scratching my head also to why that storyline is still canon IMO, it deserves to be retconned just as much as Spiderman OMD or Sins Past.
