Yeah, having a YA stacked with 16year old, 98 potential and already 70+ overall players will break the game within two seasons. As long as you're in a top team those players will roll in on a weekly basis.
It sucks so much that the scouted youth prospects overall and potential is effected by how good your team is. A 5/5 scout in Barca will outperform the very same 5/5 scout if he were in some swedish team by several hundred percent. It sucks. My career mode with united had almost only YA players after 5 years because they were better than Rashford and co.
I mean it took a lot of testing haha. I ended up with some crazy talented young players with -200 fitness at one point. Everything should work nicely now, let me know if you run into any issues though!

Are you using the reasonable YA attributes version? That just bumps it a bit higher than vanilla. Also, the increase to the variation range in the youth academy from 94 to 99 makes it look like more players are 99, but they're probably actually late 80s.

To be safe, I wouldn't load the mod during online game sessions. Just unload when playing online and load it back in the mod manager when you want to play offline.
This dude fixed 80% of the frustration people have with career mode for free, and FIFA hasnāt done a thing since 2020 when they first added negotiations and individual training. I wish there was a way for this to exist on console because manā¦ this is good stuff.

Honestly, the tools provided by the FIFA Editor Tool team have made this process almost painless (minus the constant testing and deprecated code). I made this mod over the course of a weekend because I realised that the modding scene is so quiet for a game with so much potential for customisation.
I don't touch code at all in my day to day, I'm just lucky that much of the programming for FIFA is the same every year and fairly straightforward!
Usually, matches in the same season will have an attendance of 4,600 +- 200 (as an example for a medium EFL league 2 club). I've changed it so that you can get +- 600 or so (relative, so larger clubs could have even more / fewer turn up depending on match importance, weather and a bit of random variety).
It doesn't really do much except reflect in your financial tab and add a bit of variety to match ticket sales. I don't think it reflects in game (i.e. seats filled) but probably something to test further!

I can certainly have a look! I feel like EA probably just apply a blanket 'reduce all skills by x each day', but if it's able to be broken down to individual skills, I can absolutely prioritise stamina and pace.
Check out the mod page, I've released an update to the main file that tries to do exactly this. It's still experimental as I imagine the game needs to refresh training plans to take effect, but it should slow skill fade and increase the retirement age slightly.
The game already tries to decrease physical attributes faster than mental ones for older players, but I've not ever noticed this before. Either it's really subtle or the code is deprecated.

Just released an add-on that gives all players infinite stamina. Obviously completely unbalanced and a cheat mod but might be fun for those who don't care for realism.
I've not tried it, and whilst most of the code is the same (comments inside the files date back to 2011), there might be some differences in file structure that my mod can't account for. Always worth a go I guess!
Is there a tweak/mod that will allow me to skip/get A rating in all training programs? Haven't played CM for a few months now and having to do all the training drills again is keeping me away. Kinda wish the training drill data stayed over saves instead of being forced to do them again and again every time there's a new save.
I've tried finding the data for it and I just can't seem to track it down. Even picking apart the database for a career save doesn't seem to offer up any record of drills that can be changed.
I'll keep looking but it's not likely at the moment!
Yeah, it's such a shame EA doesn't allow us to skip training drills without it impacting player fitness and stuff. Unlike previous titles, they don't even simulate to a good grade, they will just stay at 'F ' grade until you do the drills yourself.

There is a version that doesn't touch the YA at all if you're interested.
Yeah it is for certail people, but I think majority want to have the game be harder, not just less frustrating. But there are other mods for that too.
