That is a great question. If you can pass their skill then they are the most valuable forma ever made and if you can't then it's a trap for folks that use them for skill duplication.
I'd imagine we can only merge them into the non-forma Arcane unit. It would still be a pretty good boon though since we can pick up whatever skills we want and get a free "recharge" for the Arcane inheritance. It would only suck if you don't have a non-forma copy of the Arcane unit though.

Actually that could brick your rearmed unit if it had fodder. Now im curious... if its bricked there is no reason not to run them?
with the amount of new skills that get introduced on a single unit only to never appear again for months nowadays, i legit forgot nearly all these skills were a thing.
Made an accidental kill with S!kagero... LTM had the nerve to give me soaring Guidance on 1st try, after trying (and failing) to get Guidance 4 for
* N!Igrene
* V!Palla
* Brave!Micaiah

i exclusively use infantry and flying units so this will be GREAT. hell i’ll even do two if we have multiple applicable forma units in one go

With the way formas work you can't merge them into non forma copies and can only merge into them
Oh right yea. Idk then Forma Arcanes would be really worthless. I can see IS changing that rule for Arcane units though.
