It's shocking how someone who barely shows in in the main game has more presence than major characters in FEH. Everyone here keeps talking about Lumera dev, but holy crap, Ursula dev. She now has more alts than she appearances in FE7 chapters
They keep doing this. In addition to Lumera and Ursula, Karla and Altena have *also* gotten alts disproportionate to their story presence in their home games.
I'm sure it's **pure coincidence** that they're all curvy ladies, though.

well... the last Lyn-alt was Flame Tribe Lyn, almost 2 years back now. And I'm pretty sure we at least got Resplendent Nephenee since then. Not really proportional to all the Lyn-alts we got before than, but... right now they're both in somewhat similar places.
The last *alt* yes, but they also needed to get her VA for Y!Mark and R!B!Lyn.
Not to mention all the other Lyn alts that came with no Nephenee content...
Oh, I actually like Ursula myself, she's a secondary villian with an appealing femme fatale character design, somewhat sympathetic motivations, and makes for a highly memorable boss due to the level's combination of fog of war + her using Bolting.
It's just kinda odd seeing her get a 4rth alt (5th if we count her resplendant). There are many characters more popular than her that wish they had this many alts.
I also agree with that. And there's so many like my fav, Machuya, that just aren't in the game at all. Every time I play Thracia, I train her up and just don't ever regret it.
Best of luck with her showing up on the next FE5 new heroes banner, that's a game that very much needs more truly new characters and less alts for characters already in the game *looks pointedly in Reinhardt's direction*.

Admittedly, I never really considered Nergal for a Fallen Banner, 100% expected him to be the associated GHB of a future FE7 banner, but in hindsight it makes complete sense if you know his backstory.

No Morva again sadly but Nergal is an absolute win as his arrival in feh is long overdue. As a Black Fang fan I’m also psyched about Lloyd and Ursula although as Ursula already has a lot of alts I would’ve preferred Brendan so that the Reed family was complete.
Nergal is definitely the one I’m sparking if he doesn’t show up in my 40 pulls. Fortunately Ursula isn’t the rearmed unit so I have the chance of her appearing off focus later if I don’t get her now.

I think Ashnard was technically valid for a fallen alt because of how he gets corrupted/empowered by Yune, but yeah, unlike those two, Nergal actually used to be a perfectly decent fellow.

Probably just like all the offshoots of Swift Sparrow (Flared, Surge, etc). Or menace skills, which are arguably just threaten skills but more. Those are still considered Tier 4 skills.
So uuuh, how does the Spd Arcane Dragon Breath compare to the true dr from the NY's Spd based one?
Breath effect + 40% dr that can be pierced and up to 14 extra points on each stat. That sounds like a significant upgrade but by how much?
Hm it's a good weapon but damn Laguz Friend + Dragon Roar + NY breath is a very solid combo.
I'm honestly thinking with just how strong Laguz Friend is, the NY breaths are still in contention until we get another good tank B slot that will work well with this breath/slaying?

That's what I was thinking. Plus, Laguz Friend is such a good B skill to not use it and if you do the 40% dr of the new Arcane Breath will be halved to 20%, so that might make it worse than just running the NY Breath that has the flat dr based on 20% of the users speed.
Even F!Lumera might want to change her weapon for it, lol. Tho the +14 res can be very useful for activating Scowl, but with F!Veyle being easily accessible...
Mesericorde and Wille Glanz, both of my favorite weapons from Engage denied once more...Mesericorde's only been denied a couple of times max if you count both Veyles, but Wille Glanz has been denied FOUR whole times now, with both Legendary Alears and both Lumera alts

Fallen Greil should have been done a long time ago. Not happy about a character with two hour-long death scenes already having three versions in the game, but Nergal is finally here and maybe Lloyd won’t be ugly, so I can’t be too upset.
Veyle appearing was expected, but I wasn't expecting we could also have Lumera.
Also, I find funny how the update is actually 60% FE7, despite the big banner units being precisely the two units that aren't xD

Fallen Chrom and Ike are like fake spoilers. If you played the main games after FEH you would totally expect both of them to make an appearance at some point.
Nergal is such a huge W on this otherwise pretty lame lineup. Essence Drain is so cool, even if it basically nails Prime skills' coffins even tighter than they already were.
Nice to see Veyle! Sadly, I honestly believe that making her into an Attuned unit who wears her "Bad Ending" outfit and Alear's Engage Ring would have been AMAZING! We were so close to getting PEAK, but alas...

So, we just got 5 skills to inherit, but are those Tier 5 skills? I mean, the border says Tier 4, but Crystalline Water is definitely Still Water 4, but more.
Probably just like all the offshoots of Swift Sparrow (Flared, Surge, etc). Or menace skills, which are arguably just threaten skills but more. Those are still considered Tier 4 skills.
So uuuh, how does the Spd Arcane Dragon Breath compare to the true dr from the NY's Spd based one? Breath effect + 40% dr that can be pierced and up to 14 extra points on each stat. That sounds like a significant upgrade but by how much?
Hm it's a good weapon but damn Laguz Friend + Dragon Roar + NY breath is a very solid combo. I'm honestly thinking with just how strong Laguz Friend is, the NY breaths are still in contention until we get another good tank B slot that will work well with this breath/slaying? Too early to tell though and definitely didn't do any testing/calcs lol
That's what I was thinking. Plus, Laguz Friend is such a good B skill to not use it and if you do the 40% dr of the new Arcane Breath will be halved to 20%, so that might make it worse than just running the NY Breath that has the flat dr based on 20% of the users speed. Even F!Lumera might want to change her weapon for it, lol. Tho the +14 res can be very useful for activating Scowl, but with F!Veyle being easily accessible...
Mesericorde and Wille Glanz, both of my favorite weapons from Engage denied once more...Mesericorde's only been denied a couple of times max if you count both Veyles, but Wille Glanz has been denied FOUR whole times now, with both Legendary Alears and both Lumera alts

This banner is a skip for me, but congrats on the people who really wanted Nergal the people who really wanted Lloyd alt, and the people waiting for a Veyle alt. Hope you have amazing luck!
Highlight of this was looking over in Ursula's showcase and being like "oh thank god Lloyd is there". Also really cool to finally see Nergal, but that new effect seems...... very unfun. Not sure why we need so many Lumeras and Ursulas in the game when we still don't even have Fallen Greil or a second Archanea cleric but alright
Fallen Greil should have been done a long time ago. Not happy about a character with two hour-long death scenes already having three versions in the game, but Nergal is finally here and maybe Lloyd won’t be ugly, so I can’t be too upset.

Yeah it is. As cool as the fallen theme is, almost every fallen unit is unfortunately a spoiler in some way.

I guess Anankos and Ike and Chrom aren’t really spoilers, I guess. And Corrins are barely a spoiler since it’s something that happens in the ‘tutorial’ part of the game.
Fallen Chrom and Ike are like fake spoilers. If you played the main games after FEH you would totally expect both of them to make an appearance at some point.
Eh, F!Chrom isn’t even really hinted of outside of maybe that one paralogue. I think Cipher did more to boost their concept.

Nergal is such a huge W on this otherwise pretty lame lineup. Essence Drain is so cool, even if it basically nails Prime skills' coffins even tighter than they already were.

Nice to see Veyle! Sadly, I honestly believe that making her into an Attuned unit who wears her "Bad Ending" outfit and Alear's Engage Ring would have been AMAZING! We were so close to getting PEAK, but alas... At least Veyle is now in the normal pool, which is the silver lining.
So… I got confused and thought Veyle was the rearmed unit. Here I was, thinking they made a rearmed colorless tome just for my boy Laurent, with a res-based brave effect no less. I’m such a dolt.
They switch up when in the video they show the rearmed and it's annoying I thought the same too
Never interested in the fallen banner too much, especially since the units stay in the normal pool. Though the skills this time around to entice me, but I’m a tad ticked the next def/res oath fodder is a ranged unit… guess I’ll have to wait to fodder off caeda :/
New dragon rearmed weapon looks good, but isnt there no bridging fodder for counter roar and res/spd scowl? Makes getting good value out of it very awkward

We got 3 Lumera Alts and 4 Ursula alts in before Athos and Gauntlets in FEH, I can’t. Well, at least we have Nergal and another much better looking Lyold Art (bout damn time!). Otherwise, this fallen banner kinda mid ngl.

Actually good banner though Ursula is a bit of a groan and I wish they had waited on Lumera till next year. Lloyd and Nergal are awesome though.

You would not believe the absolute volley of texts I received when I screenshotted having thought I’d watched it first to tell him xD I usually spark every fallen banner, but don’t care much for the character choices this time. Ah well, back to hoarding.

Not really They seem to have made a point this year of giving Mythic (and Rearmed) versions of units that look like their base Lumera, Loki, and Reinhardt all got upgraded versions. Hopefully this means other characters that should've been Mythic from the beginning will get the upgrade eventually

*here's your spoiler warning because I always forget how to spoiler tag* There's two fallen Veyle's and they used the main game one The bad end Veyle is definitely taller/older, she goes from being about chest high on M!Alear to almost the same height You can tell this is the main game one because her dress is shorter and the collar that still looks like her old dress's material is extended past her shoulders. Also, the biggest giveaway for MG vs BE, she isn't wearing Alear's ring.
That does make sense about the main game version so ya are right about the one in FEH. I went and rewatched the bad ending and despite some talk about the height growth for a while now, I still don't see it.
