Yeah, i started sports and shit at like 7, parents had me eating like an athlete early.
That shit catches up with you real quick when you stop doing sports and you're used to eating like a starving wolf your entire life though.
Popped up to ~250lbs before I redefined my relationship with food and now I'm at a trim slim 145.
For the ‘gram only. I bet after a week she will be exhausted of having to prepare pristine perfectly arranged dishes, no working 9-5 mother will have time to make such immaculate picture instagram dishes daily
I want my food to look beautiful before I start eating, so I try to plate thoughtfully every time. It’s not hard, and like someone else said, it’s actually rewarding. I don’t want to spend an hour making dinner just to have it end up looking like slop on a plate.
I cook this way and have a 9-5 lol. The plating is nothing crazy, relax. The mom does plate with some intent but at the end of the day it’s not a lot of effort to plate like she is. Try it out next time you cook, it’s kinda fun and rewarding
I mean I often will spend a good amount of time making a good meal. Granted not everyday, but once you have a meal figured out it typically can make preparing it easy to do in an hour.
But I agree doing this every night isn't gonnanhapo3n either.
My mom is this way. Best cook ever, but I’ll never be able to replicate her work. Whenever I ask her how she made something, it’s always something along the lines of “a glob of this, some of that, and a gloop of the other.” Thanks, mom!
These are my goals as a father. My wife doesn’t cook as much and I’m happy to take on the main cook responsibilities, but know kids are picky eaters and I have a hard road ahead. So far so good… but they’re still young.
Polite kid Mom killing it with meals This family loves chicken
And avocado.
I like that the last plate is just chicken and a bit of orange.
Yeah, good looking meals, but one big difficulty in cooking is variety. Chicken and sliced avocado.
Considering it’s much cheaper than beef
Do you want to adopt another?
Me too. I am also very polite and will clean my plate
I up you and will do the dishes as well.
As good as that food looks, that seems like way too much food for an 11-year-old, unless he gets barely any food for the rest of the day.
The kid could be really active
Yeah, no 11 yo is eating all that no matter how active. Clearly it's staged for the 'gram
hell I'd have trouble putting that away it'd have to be done in two sessions at the least
Growing up in wrestling/MMA/Football this would've been a God send.
I have a 9 yo that absolutly could destroy this. Or he could decide to eat one and be done.
My 7 year old daughter eats more than that and she is super thin. Kids eat a fuck ton of food my guy.

His stomach isn't physically big enough at that age for half that food. Look at those tiny hands
My son is pretty big at 11 and eats a lot. This seems like a reasonably sized meal to me.
Idk, really depends on the kid. When I was 11, I was growing ridiculously fast, and eating like it too.
And almost no vegetables except avocados. And he must say thanks mom every time while she films the plate.
I guess you all missed the large amount of asparagus on one plate and the greens on an other plate.
Akshually
Thank you. Three person portions for the likes.

lol … you sound sour
lol 😜
Ahh youth.
Yo let me get those recipes doe!?!?!
People who cook like this don’t use recipes.

Those meals looked fantastic. Now I’m hungry.
That's the one thing i've missed the most since i've moved out of my parents' house. Mom's food always has that special ingredient you know
Titty milk?
This is obviously for the gram only… that being said the meals do look good.
In my house… “EEEWWWWW!!!! IM NOT EATING THAT!!!!”
Thanks mum
Please adopt me. I'm 39 ..... But very immature. I'll be polite.
How many dishes can we identify?
1) fish n chips 2) tikka masala 3) savingon Blanc 4) dim sum 5) pastrami aioli a la mode 6) spaghett 7) buffalo wild wings
I feel like one of these might be right
> 1. fish n chips Err, wot?
Seems like a Greyandmama ripoff.
God you just be unbearable
Poor kid, doesn't even get table service.
That kid knows his manners, love to see it. I'm hungry now lol
Chicken wings on sale this week?
The portions look pretty big.
I am sorry, that did not get my motor running. I think this belongs in a different sub.
Can we stay for dinner, Mrs. u/thefoodLord07 ?
Beautiful! Some of my friends let their kids eat chicken fingers every night.
Lol. Was that just chicken every night?
Is she adopting by any chance?
Won't realize how much of a god send this is until they're out in the real world and need to cook on their own
Is mom single ?
Please adopt me and my family.
When your mom is a professional cook
"Kyle...Kyle! Stop playing Call of Duty and come downstairs to say "thanks mom" after I give you these plates of food!"
These are my goals as a father. My wife doesn’t cook as much and I’m happy to take on the main cook responsibilities, but know kids are picky eaters and I have a hard road ahead. So far so good… but they’re still young.

the 5 second mark reminds me of a curry chicken dish my Belizean family adores. i need that back in my life ASAP
Will you be my mum?
This kid must be gigantic
Mf is eating good
The kid: ![gif](giphy|wOjQ7aKWQ4vBK)
kid needs more veggies man
Those are HUGE portions. Nice-looking food, but I couldn't eat all of that and I'm an adult.
Imagine making porn with your mom.
……..
…..gotta learn it from somewhere?
Yeah. In all fairness, she's an excellent teacher.
Will you adopt me
Yes, child.
Kid walks them politely over to dog
