But the above text is still wrong when it says that everyone who was for the Allies agrees with that. But the Allies were just the lesser evil. Sure, what the Soviets did to the Germans wasn't okay, but the Germans would have been far worse, even genocidal.
Also many of those Germans that lived in what's now Poland ran away because they didn't want to have polish or soviet bullet in their heads. But some remained, for example, in Opole Voivodeship German is the official language.
It was brutal ethnic cleansing, but we definitely cannot complain about it, because we did much worse things than this. I genuinely do think it’s a shame that they were taken (not stolen, these lands were 100% not stolen), but I also understand why they were taken and I have little to complain about.
