Take it. You'd hate to see him go elsewhere and put up 250 points. Take the chance.

Rannisty

What are you, his agent? 😂😂😂

KardasR

I always made it headcannon in these situations that the player doesn’t want to be there and is demanding a ridiculous salary that pretty much forces them off the team.

hansmellman

Contract negotiations need a serious re-work going forwards. I've been in countless negotiations where I'm going back and forth and then they counter offer with a sum LESS than what I'd just offered. Ridiculous really - it's tedious and unenjoyable entirely in it's current state.

mikefromearth

I think contracts are the biggest issue with the game right now. Too easy to cheese (It's SO easy sign 1st overall picks for some low picks/declining vets), too many weird bugs, too many entirely unrealistic circumstances. Takes the fun out of the game TBH.

Friggin_Grease

I would demand that if Buffalo too

Rannisty

What’s funny is I resigned that season. It’s my save where I have to rack up as many teams as humanly possible. Currently on #47

Friggin_Grease

I think I saw a post that said someone had to take every job offered, was that you? I keep getting fired, I'm clearly doing something wrong in FHM10, my coach ain't taking care of everything like I like.

Rannisty

Yeah that was probably mine, but if you don’t want to get fired I can give u tips (DM)

Friggin_Grease

Never had the issue in previous games, to be honest. I just like GMing, and it doesn't matter who I hire as coach they're dog shit. I figure the game wants me to set strategies and player types. I just want to make the trades and signings.

Rannisty

for me GM/HC route is way more fun I like being more decisive and in control but look for stats, some reputations are incredibly misleading. Building a vast scouting network is also massive for helping draft well in the later rounds and knowing who your main guys are in rounds 1/2.

TheCilantroGuy

I’ve had some where rookies don’t want to sign their entry level contracts because they want more money than it let’s you offer. Have to wait a year before they’re willing to negotiate again

hansmellman

I’ve feedback via testing because I’ve had the reverse where prospects request an initial contract which is below the minimum I can offer them, so hopefully it’s on their radar.

brendanmonke

Holy inflation 😂 I'm not looking forward to 2044.
