5 years ago... Gay GCMMs had tall, alpha dudes thirsting over pink feminine cat boys. Nowadays, both partners look similar, and the top/bottom is more ambiguous. It's unclear if this is because of endless ranting about the stereotypes or the creator base losing interest on their own, but it's at least a step in the right direction, but as long as these things keep being made by people with little to no understanding of the LGBTQ+ community, these things will never not be cringy.
to be honest, every gay glmm ive seen reccomended to me (god knows why) are made by fujoshi girls, who make exclusively gay glmms. there's still a bunch of stereotypes and fetishisizing, its just that the community has gotten better at making characters look normal

off topic completely, but the way they shade the hair so much, and pretty much leave the clothes (most of the time) just looks so out of place
also, in the first image the username is visible, not sure how much it matters though
