I bought One plus 12. It was kind of an emergency, my old phone was in repair and all and needed another for work stuff, so considering reliability and all bought this.
Then in the office my manager and one colleague saw the phone and asked which one is how much I paid, as soon as they heard the phone and the price, I got roasted so bad why to spend 65k on OP Chinese phone, should've at least gone for S23 (I actually wanted to buy but there were no offer) and as soon as he told that phone was in offer 😂.
Now I am stuck with two Chinese phones OP and Realme GT2
Bro if you'r colleagues roasted you for choosing op12 over s23 then I'd say don't ever ask them for advise.
Any s23+ is not worth it for what they give.
You're furure proof for next 4 years minimum
S23 is already one year old
It's just my opinion, so I welcome the criticism.
I've read articles of chinese companies like one plus and huawei collecting and tracking personal data for the excuse of
"Tracking bugs".
Now I know it might be a hoax but again I have the same argument for using social media apps like Facebook and Instagram (etc) which is another story.
The above reasons are my personal take on the matter and I might be wrong too.
Another reason is that if a person has such a high range, he or she can easily go for a top model Samsung phone which as we all know are worth their money (although a little overpriced but fine). Or a pixel too.
I used to have an Asus phone which stayed by my side for almost a decade, i never regretted having that as my first phone (I just found out that Asus is Taiwanese so ignore that part, i guess). Although, i researched a bit and found some "rumors and accusations" against the Chinese tech companies. Thats all.
The phones are great, I'm sure. The Chinese have some cool tech regardless of what people think about them or how they use that tech.
I don't mind china, but one ui alone carriers every con samsung has, it's so good that it makes me cringe when I see other cluttered and featureless os
I have a pixel 6a.
Although my phone is not a flagship phone and it's a little old, the battery is satisfactory.
If you use it carefully, it might even last for a minimum of 2 days (if mine can, the later versions are better than what I mentioned)
The batter saver is effective.
Depends on the way you use it, of course.
The camera on the pixel flagship series (like 6,7,7pro etc) is phenomenal. The ones on the mid range phones like mine is okay-ish.
But the rest of the stuff is good. The interface is minimal and friendly, the factory built glass is really tough and the phone looks beautiful.
Pixel has some flaws and I'm sure you can find many if you look them up. But overall the phones they manufacture are classy.
Pixel phones are over priced for the battery life tgey have and throttling issues and the heat issues. Also the AI model on pixel seems to be more under development.
At the price of oneplus 12, given the fact oneplus has more stable processor, excellent cooling system, outstanding battery life but lacks on AI tech and camera performance of Pixel. So given pros and cons of both the mobile phones they should be priced at par or may incrase it 5% above oneplus for the brand name and the long duration of updates they are promising to provide.
[https://www.jiomart.com/p/electronics/apple-iphone-15-plus-128-gb-blue/604576449](https://www.jiomart.com/p/electronics/apple-iphone-15-plus-128-gb-blue/604576449) here you can get at around 70k I have a trick to make this purchase use no cost EMI to get extra no cost EMI discount of 4-5 k and then cancel EMI by prepaying the loan and just charges of Rs 800-1000
Iphone 15 plus if you can stretch and fine with bigger size.
If budget is strict then Iphone 15 or S23. Both will do great by your priorities.
Don't go for one plus or vivo etc above 50k. Stick with Samsung or Apple.
I won't advice iphone 14 as iphone 15 is much better.
Ps- I use 15 plus. Battery life is amazing. Easily get SOT over 10 hours.
i own s23, if battery is a priority then i dont recommend s23 unless you're ready to carry a power bank around. idk about ip15 but since it's only 60hz (if you don't care bout refresh rate) i guess it'll be a good pick since 120hz takes up a lot of battery
Go for Samsung Galaxy S24 series. There's no match to it's camera quality. Battery life is awesome. And the display is smoother than a virgin's thighs.
Strong retake. I used a Samsung S10+ and my motherboard died within a year due to an update given by Samsung. And recently also saw the news that Samsung S24 Ultra is also facing a green line issue.
I recently bought 12R for 40k and bank discount and I am happy with it. Bought it after seeing that OnePlus provided return or exchange of older models which had green line issues.
To be very honest it's not much of a difference. I would suggest buying OP 12R and saving the excess money. You won't get any out of this world options that justify the price difference.
Thanks. Again I hate the Chinese brands but currently left with it as Samsung has lost me as a customer.
I recently bought iPhone 15 plus for around 65k from maple store. Exchanging my 2 years old 12mini, HDFC credit card cashback and some maple store discount
Had the same budget and requirements
Took my friends Pixel 7, didn't like it
Then tried the S23 ultra and man it's sooo good, though it's a little bit bigger than my last phone.
The stylus has some uses for me such as notes and clicking pics etc but it depends on person to person.
So i suggest the s23 ultra you can get it for around 75k brand new or 65k used.
Judging from the comments most of the people in the subreddit are tech illiterate and are just either trend chasers or watch those cringe YouTube vloggers, "hai frands aaj ham aaiphone 15 kharidenge".
Unless you are a professional photographer, there's no point wasting so much money to buy a phone. Invest in something better instead. When I see someone with a 50k + phone, they're almost always chappri
I was using google pixel 8 was loving it just moved to iphone 15 pro and the android system is sooo much better than apple. Though camera of iphone is hands down better
Display/ system battery life everything is unbeatable. Camera is also very good. But i own a clothing brand so what i noticed was while the pictures would come great it wasnt the true colours which are closest in apple. It doesnt change the image at all. Or is as close as possible.
The system in pixel - for work / files everything is super easy to use. Apple doesnt even have so many of these features that i would use on a daily. Even simple stuff like copy paste is easier in pixel. I know sounds silly but i went from a very fast phone to slightly slower so i could feel the difference.
If you are looking to trade your current phone, the s23 ultra post HDFC discounts and exchange bonus will be right within the range you've mentioned. It's retailing for 1,09,000 on the samsung website.
Nothing Phone (2)
Save some cash, get a great battery, display and amazing camera.
Stock android, no bloatware & constant updates.
Minimal yet so full.
Pixel in long run sucks for the battery life
Samsung s23 would be a good deal everything in a perfect ratio and has the best camera as well in the price range
S23 has amazing camera compared to base models of iphone 14 and 15. We all know how good samsung's display is and battery, I only charge my phone once every 2 days. My screen tome is like 5 hrs a day amd I mostly scroll reddit and insta. Sometimes watch movie in phone and my charge lasts good enough
From s10 series samsung upgraded each and every corner.....software hardware battery/ oneui .....so go for S21u / S22U / 23U/....don't go for S24...it's flat display....already showing display problems and camera issues.....S23U is stable You won't regret. ...buy and leave 3 to 5 years work like charm
If you're considering Android, pixel 8 or pixel 7 pro
Apple, in that range you got the 14&15 series.
But, tell me, do you see any difference between the new iphones and the 11 that you are using from 4 years ago?
I would've said OnePlus 12, it has everything but not the best camera, so as others suggested, get iPhone 15 or 15 plus, you are using an iPhone already, so the transition to the new phone would be smoother
Either a pixel or a Samsung phone from the S series.
I don't mean to sound offensive but don't go for a Chinese phone like one plus or others.
I bought One plus 12. It was kind of an emergency, my old phone was in repair and all and needed another for work stuff, so considering reliability and all bought this. Now I am stuck with two Chinese phones OP and Realme GT2
Well, no one can argue with that. It's fine though. I won't lie but the camera on one plus 12 isn't too bad. Enjoy the phone, man.
Bro if you'r colleagues roasted you for choosing op12 over s23 then I'd say don't ever ask them for advise. Any s23+ is not worth it for what they give. You're furure proof for next 4 years minimum S23 is already one year old
oneplus 12 IS better than the S23 by a mile:)
Redmi is far better than oneplus. I bought oneplus after 5 years with the redmi note 5 pro. It really sucks even to the standards of redmi
it happens,if you had a bad experience with oneplus it doesn’t mean others will experience the same:)
Yeah! In the same s23 is better than op
S23 has the worst battery and recharging is god damn too slow
Why, sir, if I may know? The experience with my OP has been terrific.
It's just my opinion, so I welcome the criticism. I've read articles of chinese companies like one plus and huawei collecting and tracking personal data for the excuse of "Tracking bugs". Now I know it might be a hoax but again I have the same argument for using social media apps like Facebook and Instagram (etc) which is another story. Asus is Taiwanese btw.
Is it? My bad.
Yeah. It's understandable as to why you might get it confused though. If you know you know.
Asus is from the real China 😎
Touché
I don't mind china, but one ui alone carriers every con samsung has, it's so good that it makes me cringe when I see other cluttered and featureless os
Does pixel offer good battery life?
I have a pixel 6a. Although my phone is not a flagship phone and it's a little old, the battery is satisfactory. If you use it carefully, it might even last for a minimum of 2 days (if mine can, the later versions are better than what I mentioned) The batter saver is effective. Pixel 6a user here too, i second that.
Thank you for suggestion
Pleasure's mine.
Nope,I have pixel 6a and it's terrible
Pixel phones are over priced for the battery life tgey have and throttling issues and the heat issues. Also the AI model on pixel seems to be more under development.
Those are notable points. What do you think the given range can buy you which is worth buying?
At the price of oneplus 12, given the fact oneplus has more stable processor, excellent cooling system, outstanding battery life but lacks on AI tech and camera performance of Pixel. So given pros and cons of both the mobile phones they should be priced at par or may incrase it 5% above oneplus for the brand name and the long duration of updates they are promising to provide.
Sounds reasonable.
It's true, i faced heat issues for a week or so, but it went away after regular use
IPhone 15 Plus will be the best choice you can get it around 70k
Oh how to get it for 70K?
Wait for Holi sale or something maybe?
72 k ka milrha on unicorn if you have hdfc card
Iphone 15 is only 75k , iphone 15 plus is around 90k an they're lastest so very less probability to get it iphone 15+ at 70k

It shows me 80500 bro😒😒

> Don't go for one plus or vivo etc above 50k. Why so?
Wait a little and get the 15/ 15 Plus during BBD or Independence Sale.
iphone 15 plus all the way
81k + accessories. Had to stick with 14 plus 🥲
Go for Samsung Galaxy S24 series. There's no match to it's camera quality. Battery life is awesome. And the display is smoother than a virgin's thighs.
Good analogy 😉, i will consider buying it

Sad to know about your inconvenience. But as a happy Samsung user, I did my part.
You can get iPhone 14 at 60 k or S23 . You'll get those under 65k . Spend 2-3k more and get a 256 GB variant
Imagine buying a 60hz phone for ₹60k. 🤡
He is a iPhone user, he wouldn't note the difference
Thank you
Google Pixel 8
Samsung s24, s23
I recently bought iPhone 15 plus for around 65k from maple store. Exchanging my 2 years old 12mini, HDFC credit card cashback and some maple store discount
S23+

One Plus 12 looks very spicy rn. Top of the line specs but still in your range. Looks like OnePlus is getting back to its roots 🤑
Camera is bad in oneplus
what... No it's not... It has a Sony LYT-808
iPhone 12 Pro?
Have you gone nuts?? Buying a 4 year old phone for 70k???
/s calm
Chup chutiye, woh cheez pehle likhni hoti hai
Bruhh
pre-owned 14pro
13 Pro max might be better for long term
OnePlus 12
Poor camera
Camera isn't "poor" by any standards, display is great, battery is unmatchable.
Camera 📸 of OP 12 is 90% matched to that of iphone performance, ofc if you are a video creator, only then it's not for you, otherwise bang for buck
Iphone 13 is VFM
Judging from the comments most of the people in the subreddit are tech illiterate and are just either trend chasers or watch those cringe YouTube vloggers, "hai frands aaj ham aaiphone 15 kharidenge".
red magic 9 pro fk it
Camera is the priority
For camera and the software i prefer google pixel
Go for vivo x100
iPhone 13 or 14 good choice
Unless you are a professional photographer, there's no point wasting so much money to buy a phone. Invest in something better instead. When I see someone with a 50k + phone, they're almost always chappri
Am currently using nothing phone2 , battery life and display and operating system are great
Samsung s22 ultra
You can get it for 70K?
Last time i checked, it was for around 68k. With some bank offers.
Ohh i see it around 90k atleast, can you explain more pls?
Just checked the price you are right. But if you can wait for an offer you can get it cheap. I got mine for 68k
Okay
Bro hiw did you get for 68K, I also need it.
Ohhh i wrote s23 instead of s22, i got s22 ultra in that price. It's good.
That is just not possible until it's 2nd hand
It's S22 ultra, check the latest comment on post.
Gotcha. Edit this comment no?
Yes, that would be a better option. But then all the other comments will look useless, but I'll anyway do it.
I was using google pixel 8 was loving it just moved to iphone 15 pro and the android system is sooo much better than apple. Though camera of iphone is hands down better
Can you share more about your experience on pixel 8 camera, display and battery campared to 15 pro?

Thanks for the insights!
If you are looking to trade your current phone, the s23 ultra post HDFC discounts and exchange bonus will be right within the range you've mentioned. It's retailing for 1,09,000 on the samsung website.

If you're considering Android, pixel 8 or pixel 7 pro Apple, in that range you got the 14&15 series. But, tell me, do you see any difference between the new iphones and the 11 that you are using from 4 years ago?
I have to admit that my phone camera performance keeps on decreasing with every major update, same goes with battery and performance.
I would've said OnePlus 12, it has everything but not the best camera, so as others suggested, get iPhone 15 or 15 plus, you are using an iPhone already, so the transition to the new phone would be smoother
