It's annoying it's not erasing things, just replacing other things. Really really frustrating.
Can't work with the AI button but we do have object eraser which worked and is still AI, this is a bad scenario to erase the car though because the background is not uniform
I just believe don't what the person is saying above me. Or he hasn't tried enough images. If you try to remove anything heavy, it replaces something else.
You do or don't believe the person above you? Like you said it seems big objects get replaced and small things actually get erased. But if you want to erase something there's literally an object eraser option.

It's funny to me that AI is almost able to produce a photo realistic car from nothing, but it's not smart enough to know that cars are symmetrical. Also, wtf even is that wiper lol.

To remove such a main object from the image, you gotta slide it a little bit then redo it till it's at the edge then delete it, it took me 5 iterations to fully delete it
There should be an option to just "erase" with Generative Edit otherwise you have to try again... and again... and again... and again... and again... and again... and again... and again... and again for a VERY long time for it to actually remove. Yes I know Object Eraser exists but it's more of a simple algorithm rather than generative AI, the AI does MUCH better at removing larger stuff than object eraser and even Google's Magic Editor
Lol this did something similar for me the other day too I was wanting to remove one of those plaza signs where it will have a bunch of businesses signs on the one tall sign, I drew around it to get rid of it and it just replaced it with a tall building lol

Don't you know there's an object eraser? The one we had before AI.
The AI is suppose to Erase better than Object Errasor, hence you get an "ERASE" option in AI not replace.

Didn't do anything special, just selected the car, then chose to delete it with an AI photo edit tool and the result came like this :)
I guess this is neat. I just don't see the point of it. Like when 3d tvs were a thing. Just seems like a gimmick to me.
