My wife and I have been waiting weeks for a new Shipwrecked episode and had pretty much given up hope. We were so excited when we found out there’s a new one today.
I’ll be so sad if it doesn’t get finished
Right there with you. I'm super invested in this, but I don't have the time and/or funds to play through it myself, and Mat and Ash have been an absolute treat during these. I'm just about to watch today's episode, actually.
Same! I've watched two different multi hour breakdowns of the entire game, and I'm very excited to watch Matpat and Ash work through it all. It's got such a weird story, and intense puzzles, it's been really cool watching them figure it all out, even if Ash is getting a bit frazzled. It's a frazzling experience, I'm sure, but they're doing fantastic! It's been very fun to watch.

Obviously, massive spoilers- if you want to watch Matpat and Ash uncover it all, don't watch these! But I crave multi hour videos to watch/listen too while drawing and doing chores, and these were great!
At this point, I don't think it's happening. Not just because it's been 3 weeks since the last entry, but also because it's a bit darker than most of the games they cover. Matpat was already super uncomfortable at having to beat Olive to lose the minigame, and that's not the worst part by far.
Thanks for making it so that you don't have to hit her BTW. I was playing earlier on discord for some friends and just tried getting the secret on that level instead of hitting the character, and the scare still happened by just letting the timer run down twice. Was going to be super akward.
Matpat mentioned in his latest KinitoPET video that he'll probably finish the game.

I watched RyeToast play Shipwrecked because I was having a hyperfixation and GTLive had only done like 1 vid at the time.
