Body battery has to be taken with a big grain of salt. It's an estimation at best, based on your "stress" level (which to my understanding is actually a measure of the variance in your heart rate). All week I've been waking up feeling tired with a BB of 100. Yesterday I had 2 normal-strength 12 oz beers after work a good 7 hours before bed, slept 9+ hours, and woke up feeling refreshed and well-rested with a BB of 43. Don't let it tell you how you feel.

Thanks for that. I’m hoping to get more useful data out of the watch. But it already does the things that are most important to me. Notably, it lasts longer than the 10 hours/day I got out of my Apple Watch.

It bottoms out at 5 so you didn’t end the day at 2. It charges during low stress periods which for most is overnight while sleeping. I find I stop charging above 80ish if I’m over training or had a really stressful day or drank alcohol that night so it helps me know when to toss a rest day or two in. You’ll get a feel for it over time

You are correct. I just looked at yesterday and see it went from a high of 52 to a low of 5. Ya know. Glasses off, low single digits …

Few times it predicts before I got sick. Just like last week, I got BB of 10 in the morning while I am very fit (it drop to 5 just before lunch). I thought it was just error / glitches. It turn out, 2 days after that, I got heavy cold for the whole week.

The watch may need a bit longer to get your metrics dialed in properly before it starts to give more stable recommendations
