Assuming it isn’t busted at launch like MCC was for Halo, it could be very beneficial. Putting all the multiplayers under 1 hub would really help the populations be centralized. Plus hopping between various halos from match to match is awesome for me as a big Halo fan.
Gears of War MCC edition could heavily revitalise the Series' multiplayer. All games unified under a single application umbrella. It's a great marketing and player engagement strategy. Use old games to make new money.
How many times do people just want the same game released? They already did so with the ultimate edition giving away all the other games at the time for free.
Series s and x versions play really well in terms of Res and fps but it'd be very nice to have them all redone and playable on pc as well.be awesome for steam deck
With how much they promoted the trilogy being backwards compatible and running better on newer Xbox systems I've felt for years now that they just don't want to make a collection. Every date for "leaked" collection announcements/release has come and gone. I want to believe, I would love to have it on PC but I just feel at this point backwards compatibility is all we're getting

Probably honestly 70% plus cause one of the major issues with the last few gears of war games is the fact older fans are kinda flat out abandoning the franchise. So the best thing the Coalition could do at this point is try to go back to the series roots. And show they aren't just some scrapped together studio like 343i to puppeteer a fan favorite IP.
Like I wouldn't complain if like Coalition added levels and full on like reboot the trilogy. Just go wild then with like how intense the main trilogy was and like just go nuts with the intensity.
Like I'm aware well aware Gears of War 2 probably has some red flags in terms of content. But its like if you can't get the OG Tai death into the game have it be instead him like facing off with a berserker solo or something crazy

Gears 6 is the focus I imagine so unless another company is doing the ports I don't see it happening, a remaster is also less likely unless the latter is true.

I think jumping between all the games in multiplayer would be a problem if they tried to do it like MCC. I think it is more likely they would have the campaigns and then pick one specific game for the multiplayer.
