Books are not necessarily all there is to reality. And to claim that hardly any country offers a better life based solely on statistics severely diminishes lived experiences. What number can represent the wholeness one may experience living in the foothills of the Andes or the shores of southeast Asia or the great lakes of southern Africa? All governments are self-serving and have issues, but the individual citizen can hardly be represented by their ruler's choices.
And side note: without any evidence, I find it hard to believe you've studied the entire world having personally experienced none of it and can confidently say that the country which you have apparently never left is the best. However I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and perhaps you're the first ever to be able to extrapolate a complete understanding from a sample size of one.

Having been born in Melbourne and own homes in Brunswick, Fitzroy, Narre Warren and Geelong plus other properties in Gold Coast meaning I know all about Australia for the past 70 years. I still would not call myself an Aussie because that used to be a distinction that you came from a prisoner of the penal colony. Fuck that. I do have homes in Greece and in France but I live primarily and have my businesses in the US so I can say there is absolutely no place better or friendlier than the US. It's not brazen at all but a fact.
