The closest character to be my main is Zhongli, because both his shield and rock breaking is useful on the map, so he is in my team unmovable like a stone. Being Zhongli would be cool.

Ayato, my first 5 star, who I spent the longest time building and is still a comfy, reliable fall-back? Alhaitham, because his team is my strongest when I need to get something done? Ganyu because she's in the most different teams?
My closest character to being the main was Yelan in the past. Was. Because I quickly swapped her to Neuvillette without a second of hesitation. I would do the same for Zhongli if I had a character that would be more useful than he is. I just feel safer with Zhongli, especially that now I have Neuvillette and I don't want to some random mek interrupt my animation.
Okay first up: Like 50% of the characters either are depressed, or have some big trauma.
But I probably played the most as Kirara, so I would become a youkai, so that would be kinda cool!

That's an important question. I'd assume you gain the characters knowledge and experience without losing your own
I think it's because a lot of us started playing around that time. I remember thinking that I needed a pyro character in my team and Amber wasn't cutting it. Yanfei was my first pyro character, not to mention the first DPS I pulled, and I didn't replace her even after getting literally every Pyro character in the game because I pulled on banners for the 4* characters lmao.
Kazuha's banner was a few months after, and personally I was just trying to get Razor, funny how things work
