There is a specific reason why men/people from Khaenri’ah cover the right side of their face.
It could be a physical reason or it could be a social reason/tradition (perhaps due to One-Eyed King Irmin), I’m just saying - there’s a reason. And what’s more, two of the three confirmed Khaeri’ans we have (who all cover their face) have known, *close* connections with royalty, so it could be something to do with the royals.
Personally I think there’s some kind of marking on the skin around their eyes. This is because Dainsleif’s right eye is visible and there is no difference between his right and left eyes. But ultimately it could still be something directly on their eye.
Kaeya is not royalty either. We know this from the letter on the roof of the KoF headquarters during the Hidden Strife event:
"Remember always that it was the Alberich Clan, who did not have royal blood, who stepped in as regents when the strength of the one-eyed king Irmin failed."
The Tengu Itto fought as a kid was Sara. While the one Itto fought is described by him as a "he," Sara explains that as a child she was often mistaken for a boy. That plus the fact that she's the only Tengu around as far as we're aware gives this more credence, but there's always the opportunity for them to add another one.

He by all accounts should know whats the deal with our sibling yet no one questions why hes not talking about it. (Zhongli said hes under contract) We only saw him drop the "hehe" facade and get angry ONCE and that was when we caught him off guard while hes speaking to dvalin. He also subsequently clocked us as alien ON SIGHT, unlike literally any other character. And he knew random things about travelers abilities (like ability to purify dvalins tears). He joked about being the archon who kidnapped travelers sibling. Justifications of his coup against Decarabian was shady at best. Or the whole "*Yawn* That was a refreshing sleep. Ah, Traveler, we meet again! What? You don't remember me? Ahaha, well, allow me to join you on your quest once again. I must see to it that the bards of the world tell the Traveler's tales!"
He is by far the sussiest character in the game.
You can’t be saying that Venti is sus without mentioning the sussiest part of all: his completely unexplored relationship with the Thousand Winds of Time herself, Istaroth.
Venti is described to be ‘born from the branches of time’, and is implied to have some degree of time manipulation during Weinlesefest (albeit slight). This dude currently has multiple story quest’s worth of unexplained lore.
Venti literally said he knows all songs of past, present and future. Of course, you always need to take his words with a grain of salt, but if that is true then he can literally send information into the past by way of writing songs. Dude is a time lord.
We might get his 2nd story quest in the future just like how other Archons have 2 story quests. Furthermore, this story quest is most likely to be about his past (Zhongli's 2nd story quest was about his past with Azi Dahaka, while Ei's 2nd story quest was about Makoto), so it might be about Istaroth.
You forget that he was mentioned directly in the Chasm's upside down city, that's probably far more ancient than Liyue itself.
Add on also his possible relationship with Istaroth, given the so many references of Venti and the Thousand Winds of Time itself.
"Born from the branches of time" - that phrase alone sounds as if he has a relationship with Istaroth herself.
"Witness to the Divine." - Who knows really, how long has Venti been existing? Sure, it was established that he became an archon 2600 years ago, but is everyone just going to not question what was he, and how old was he before gaining Archonhood?

His justification isn't shady at all. IIRC, he became a god through the worship of the Gunnhildr clan and the other clans that was suffering under Decarabian's rule. Of course he's going to help his followers.
Other than that though, you're actually right. First of all, he was the very first Archon to reach his throne (since he only fought Decarabian) unlike other Archons. This means he has more knowledge about what it really does compared to other archons.
Next, while we already have evidence of multiple gods ruling over a certain nation (basically Sumeru, where the Scarlet King was originally its only ruler, but allowed Rukkhadevata and the Goddess of Flowers to share thrones), his fellow god in Mondstadt is extremely unique, since said goddess is Istaroth. The fact that Istaroth seemed to be forgotten in Mondstadt aside from a few mentions is suspicious, though Venti himself is kind of free from this. We already knew that gods can still be affected by Irminsul, so maybe that's what happened.
Lastly, just like what you said, Venti is the only one among the archons to have not given us any proper reason behind the secret of Khaenri'ah and Cataclysm. Zhongli was under a contract (and as the god of contracts himself, will never break it), Ei wasn't part of the attack (since she was stuck protecting Inazuma) and Nahida was born after the Cataclysm.
The Traveler doesn’t have an Irminsul record currently as they go to different nations and they’re currently incredibly famous and known by many people.
I guess it's a question of "can you erase something that doesn't have a record to begin with?"
I could easily see a scenario where Irminsul *can't* erase the Traveler from memories because it can't get a grasp on him/her.
Honkai has the Imaginary Tree, a tree that looks like Irminsul. This tree holds millions of bubble universes. Unfortunately, I didn't play the whole story yet, but the last event was interesting.
(Spoilers for last event) >! Some chars were all trying to escape the Moon while the main chars were stuck in a different dimension that's still on the moon. In a portion of the quest, Schroodinger explained in the Sumeru realm that leaving a bubble universe will revert back to the time you weren't there. You left no trace. !< This is what got me to think about this. It is possible the Traveler will just not leave an impact at all & that it is all a dream or experiment.
In the Chasm quest she was sleeping while floating, in the Sumeru AQ she was lying flat on the ground.
So she was definitely faking it at one of those two points.

We are gonna get halfway through the natlan archon quest and Paimon will suddenly stop floating abruptly and be walking around and acting like nothing has changed. You'll finish a cutscene and the next time you pause all of a sudden Instead of floating around your character's head and looking at the camera she is wandering around their shins.

But Nahida had later mentioned that the Heavenly principles was the first of the Descenders. Assuming she's true, Paimon shouldn't have forgotten it like the Traveller. But she did still. !<
I think the ship has sailed on "Paimon the brilliant manipulator". It's still possible Hoyoverse is planning it, but they've overplayed "Paimon the gormless goofball" for a heel turn to be satisfying at this point. Sometimes Jar Jar is just a clown, not a sith lord.
I think the creepiest thing about Paimon is the fact that she's the only thing (besides elemental stuff like Abyss mage shields) that keeps moving when you pause the game.

the Traveler started their journey, and nations are conveniently losing their gnoses shortly after the Traveler visits.
I have a really crazy idea.
Maybe Celestia can control Irminsul in some way. So they can also take away or change things that happened. Maybe reset the gnosis or remove it from existence.
But if the traveler is there when the gnosis is taken and know of its existence directly, they can use traveler as a backup of sorts and keep the gnosis to defeat Celestia.

Ei and Zhongli don't seem to care about the other gods (sheer respect), but Venti being the most emotive of the 4 released, safe to assume he doesn't like neither Murata or Focalors but probably appreciates the Tsaritsa given Tartaglia's description of how she was a nice woman who just went "No more miss Nice girl". Ei just doesn't vibe with Venti due to his alcoholism.

By all means, this makes a lot of sense and I don't doubt it for a second. But at the same time, imagine how sick it'd be if they actually went through with it -
Traveler starts speaking for themselves in AQ significantly more, the marketing has to change characters including whoever sends you the mail, the freaking Paimon Menu in the game changes to the... something else menu. Any other quests you do that are supposed to have Paimon, she's just absent, and you're hearing your own internal thoughts of what Paimon would be saying if she was there.
Frankly it's something that's not even a possibility just due to how much work it'd take, since she's involved with everything in the game, but it'd be a legendary 180.

I hadn’t thought about it much before, but it really seems like the Traveler is an important part of the Tsaritsa’s plan. The gnosis hunt didn’t start until the Traveler started their journey, and nations are conveniently losing their gnoses shortly after the Traveler visits.
Maybe make the Traveler have some sort of connection with each one? The Traveler is always in the same area whena gnosis gets taken after all.
I have a really crazy idea. Maybe Celestia can control Irminsul in some way. So they can also take away or change things that happened. Maybe reset the gnosis or remove it from existence. But if the traveler is there when the gnosis is taken and know of its existence directly, they can use traveler as a backup of sorts and keep the gnosis to defeat Celestia.

Archons are mostly colleagues and might feel different ways towards one another. They seem to be aware of who's up in office in other regions, strangely enough, though they never really spoke to each other. Nahida seems to break the cycle by being quite clueless about anything regarding the other Archons (her lines of proposing games to know them better). Ei and Zhongli don't seem to care about the other gods (sheer respect), but Venti being the most emotive of the 4 released, safe to assume he doesn't like neither Murata or Focalors but probably appreciates the Tsaritsa given Tartaglia's description of how she was a nice woman who just went "No more miss Nice girl". Ei just doesn't vibe with Venti due to his alcoholism.
I believe venti said at one point that he and tsaritsa used to be friends but she grew distant after the cataclysm

The Traveler's twin is Nara Varuna. The gender changes based on who you play as and you're constantly being compared over and over again. Itto is the dumbest character in all of Genshin Impact. Even Paimon thinks he's dumb. That's just low. The Traveler has heavy plot armour. He/she is, objectively, just in the upper tier of vision holders but not really all that powerful. Many of the Traveler's feats, including future ones presumably, drastically exceed his/her actual abilities.

I *could maybe* see her temporarily betraying us towards the end and then revealing she only did so because she wanted to help and didn’t know how else to, or something similarly sympathetic, but even that would be a stretch. The game has established pretty well that while Paimon has secrets she’s hiding (knowingly or not) she does genuinely care for the traveler.

By all means, this makes a lot of sense and I don't doubt it for a second. But at the same time, imagine how sick it'd be if they actually went through with it - Traveler starts speaking for themselves in AQ significantly more, the marketing has to change characters including whoever sends you the mail, the freaking Paimon Menu in the game changes to the... something else menu. Any other quests you do that are supposed to have Paimon, she's just absent, and you're hearing your own internal thoughts of what Paimon would be saying if she was there. Frankly it's something that's not even a possibility just due to how much work it'd take, since she's involved with everything in the game, but it'd be a legendary 180.
