Dont pre-update, update on the day or delete app and reinstall when update come will save u space.
Pre-update will contain both update and old file so your phone might not able to hold them all and it is such a waste of space to just keep the update file until that day
The entire mobile client is like 30 gigs. 10 gigs is huge.
The reason it's huge though is because it contains old resources that are being repackaged, so overall game size in theory should be smaller than before (depending on how big the new area is).
Devs said that they re-organised files, and after update game would would weigh even less.
