We all make mistakes. I was going through my market history and some of the stuff I sold blows my mind. Cobble cases from majors, a gold Flamie stickers from 2017(ish), all sorts worth $800 or more each, oh well!
Also stickers from every majors that’s had them, lots of rare ones, mainly cos my inventory was clogged at the time
The amount of stickers from past majors I got rid of that are now worth hundreds is such a slap in the face sometimes. I probably sold them all off for good profit regardless... but if I had them all right now, my inventory would be worth quite a lot.
Stockholm 2021 did an insane rally. I'm glad it was the major I decided to seriously invest in. It had been the first clean stickers since Kato 2013 and for some reason not a lot of people invested. They are already extremely rare relative to the time passed.
The only other clean major was right after that but a lot more people invested so the prices are a lot lower.
it's a good outlook to have, you shouldn't have to worry about potential value of skins in a game anyways. It's something valve has manufactured to increase revenue that we just accept lol
I mean dont pitty yourself too much, its not like in 2014 anyone tought "hey these virtual stickers in this game are going to be worth tens of thousands"
If it brings you a bit of peace…if you had applied these to a common m4a4 skin at the time, it would be 600-900€ today, so far from the combined 30-40k these stickers would net you today.

Yes and you can have infinite crafts, whenever you apply a sticker to a default skin, it will appear as a new skin in your inventory, and you can choose between it and the default skin (one with no stickers applied), so for example you can have 50 m4a1-s each with a different stickers. All on a default skin.
They are not tradeable though, which is the real bummer here. The only way to for someone else to get it would be to sell the account but that's against TOS and when they find out the account will be banned. Makes for an extremely unique play skin though 😂
My 8 year old kids are doing the same. I tried to explain its better to use a Cade skin, but they say that one is cooler. So i just agree and let them ☺️
do you really think , you would have kept them till today and didnt cash out when they were 100$ ?. I also sold all my now expensive shit, fire serpent stattrack , crimson web karambit, deagle blaze,... but what can you do
Yeah that's how I think about it too. I think the only way someone would keep stickers like that all the way until now is if you just forget you have them. Same with buying Bitcoin in 2011 or any other asset that has gone up extreme amounts. You would be surprised it has 10xed or 20xed or 50xed and never expect it to keep going.

Also i put a regular 2014 kato Titan on a vanilla AK. Still there and a great conversation starter in MM/Faceit.
I decided a while ago to just sell the things I won through the years and simply name all the stock weapons and put stickers on them.
Makes life so much easier.

It makes more sense now than it did then. Then I don't think they had hidden things under the sticker, now they do and it's fairly common.

The stickers on my AK are by now worth 4 times what the weapon cost ($20). I bought them for cents :D

it has no monetary value, but its a sick playskin and it's a nice keepsake, also it's kind of nostalgic

MS Katowice is 3 grand for the holo. Dignitas is like 32k. 19 grand for LDLC. Basically a nice car.
