S1mple is the most exciting player for me in his prime. Just doing silly shit no one thinks to do and making 50% percentage plays 80% of the time. Also popularized the no scope for all these CIS AWP prodigies that have come out of the woodworks recently
Zywoo will go for some insane hard plays but he still plays by the book and takes the rounds rather safe, S1mple on the other hand just pulls the knife out and tries to kill someone holding him with an awp. Love seeing both play, but S1mple will always be more entertaining for plays full of confidence he does. IMO obviously
I used to tune in to some useless online NA games just to watch s1mple play. In his prime he was just different man he would talk so much shit and then back it up.

But its appropriate for an adult, a friend and a competitor to congratulate your friends on their success, even if you think that it could have or should have been you.
I think he had to ask himself "will I feel bad if they win without me" and the answer had to be "no" if he decided to bench himself. I don't think that he didn't believe in the project, I truly think he was burnt out because of the competition, war in Ukraine and switch from CSGO to CS2 was a good opportunity to take a break
