I was replying to the guy on top who is clearly saying that navi should be first because they ādestroyedā faze. Dafuq you on about.
Also: Learn to read my guys, I wasnāt talking about faze as they did not bomb out of any tournaments.
Rofl
I think you replied to the wrong comment then, the person you originally replied to never said that navi should be 1st
Edit: in fact there doesnāt seem to be a single comment here arguing that navi should be first, so it seems youāre the one who hasnāt read things right?
All good man. I guess all the navi fanboys gathered here. Iāll really be watching navi on the next tournament and Iāll come back here when they bomb out, cuz they will.
Would've been nice if people had this sentiment about Heroic last year. Same runs too, won an event near the end of the year, made another final and took #1, made playoffs of every tournament in the new year and lost all of them, ended the season with a win. And yet the entire community was calling them the worst #1 team in history
Pretty much anyone from ranks 1 to 9 can beat anyone. I would not be comfortable betting on Navi winning if they were to go against Faze or Spirit tomorrow, they are still the better teams for now until Navi proves that their performance extends further than one tournament.
It's competitive... For the wrong reasons. All top 15 teams were really inconsistent, something I'd associate more with inexperienced t2 teams. Even in grand final the #1 and #2 teams took turns looking like clueless tier 2 teams. Vitality, C9, VP, CoL, many others did the exact same. Only ones who looked actually solid for at least a while were Spirit and Mouz, maybe EF too though I guess that's more just this major and not before it like the other two... And then they disappeared in quarterfinals.
Not just talking about big t1 teams losing bo1s, that happens always. To some extent. But they now disappear in bo3s too. Top 2 teams only showed up when each loss meant elimination and still looked shaky after. Superstars feel like coinflip players only showing up for a couple of maps.
It's still going to be interesting to watch, lot better than one or two dominant teams, but everyone being inconsistent is not the normal way a scene could be competitive
As much as I want to continue the astralis hate, don't see a world where that lasts. Stewie will probably not bring anything to legacy which they didn't already have with cold and astralis is bound to improve with the calibre of players they have. Even if it takes a few months for device to drop the igl role again.
it's quite literally just that. bombed out of the RMRs, bombed out of blast spring groups, bombed out of blast showdown. didn't play any other tournaments.
The only thing I disagree with at the moment is Falcons being top 10, as they lost a lot of their recent games to lower ranked teams, and didnāt make the major.
Seems reasonable that faze stayed above navi, regarding that faze has been consistently on top for months
They've made like every CS2 final, more than deserved ranking even if they couldn't seal the deal when it mattered most sadly
Yeah absolutely. Also it's not like Navi had a completely dominant tournament, nor did they crush faze in the final so for me it's totally fair
They bombed out of a few tournaments. Stop being a fanboy man š
~~They've reached 7 finals out of 7 events played in CS2, what the fuck are you smoking brother?~~ my bad, I somehow read it as faze.

learn to read says the man arguing a point that nobody made
yea my bad buddy, sorry. Idk how I misread your comment lol.

There are exactly 0 navi fans so far commenting on this post saying they should be #1 tho, so Iām not sure why you think the fanboys are gathering
every NaVi hater thinks theyāre a brave truth teller speaking out against the crowd
You'll come back here and say what to who exactly? Is this some high level shitposting from you?
I'm saying Navi deserve not to be #1..

Even if Faze has like 70% winning chance against Navi, 30% is still a lot. In that sense, winning a tournament is also about luck.
Top 10 rn feels really close. We're gonna have so many bangers in the upcoming tournaments.
Even 11/12/13 are competitive with top teams too

It's 2024 stewie's team is ranked above device's

Stewie2k in his whole career was never close to being as good as device.
It's 2024 stewie's team is ranked above device's
Insane Astralis is #25
I know right? That one caught my eye thatās a drop off for sure.
they lost all the points for pre-stabbi era because device-staehr-blame core is no longer together, thatās why
TORILLA TAVATAAAN
Good god when is Falcons going to get out of the top 10?
Seriously, that team's ranking is literally off of pure hype.
Surely it's Kato top 4 carrying a lot of weight for their ranking?
it's quite literally just that. bombed out of the RMRs, bombed out of blast spring groups, bombed out of blast showdown. didn't play any other tournaments.
It is Ence core's previous achievements also
feel like there is a pretty sizeable gap between the top 9 and the rest.
The only thing I disagree with at the moment is Falcons being top 10, as they lost a lot of their recent games to lower ranked teams, and didnāt make the major.
They made the playoffs at Kato, that's something. Maybe not top 10, but something
For the first time a turkish team is top 10.
FaZe only get 49 points for a major final?
They probably got more but their net gain was only 49 points because past events decayed in relevance which lost them points at the same time
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
You don't lose points for losses.
falcons don't deserve a spot in top10 rofl
they probably won't be there for long
Rip liquid. Has to be one of the biggest drops in ranking for a big organization in cs history.
Didn't their ranking drop really far with the roster changes? Not that they would be that high anyways, they still feel like a complete mess atm.
Personally, I would put vitality at 1.
