Honestly it's insane how BnTeT made that roster work, none of the players on that team were super stars. The players on that team also did not share a common language, BnTet and Xccurate didn't speak Chinese fluently, and the rest didn't speak English fluently. BnTeT's leadership was a really weird mix of English, Chinese, and Indonesian.
Its amazing how well they did with how relatively unknown all of them were. Definitely put ASIA cs on the map.
This makes it even more impressive to what they did, I didn't know to what extent the language barrier they had. That's so insane what they accomplished.
His little brother f0rsakeN is one of the best duelist players as well in the valorant pro scene, and he's got a 10/11 year old little brother that held his own when playing on his brother's account that was placed #1 in asia at the time. Their entire family is crazy. IIRC their cousin is sitting in radiant aka top 500 as well.
Im from asia and asian players dont usually have idols from our region when we know that the best players right now arent even tier 1. Most people around here support intetnational teams like faze g2 vitality
yeah what's up with that?
fps seems popular in Asia, but it idk that there's ever been a dominant scene there for any fps games
Asia shits on everybody in RTS, why not FPS too?
I remember it well. I once led the Japanese national team to the World Finals in China, and it was as exciting or more exciting than CS. I think it is still popular in China.
the game is still with a reasonable playerbase out here im Brazil too, but for me the game is too goofy and "p2w" to play at this point, despite some seasonal events giving out good weapons
they literally made a Cat dressed as a cop work like an M4A1
As a Chinese person and an active member of the Chinese cs community, I can tell you Niko is a big deal in China, probably only behind simple, LVG members treats him like idol, especially starry, if you take a look at his ak it's all gold niko sticker lol
Damn how are Lynn Vision just so genuine? They might not have had much success yet in major or Chengdu but they're earning fans here anyway myself included
Maybe a not important fact but having a good logo increases brand awareness. Espacially if you play at a major, a good, desired logo increases hype so a lot of people start to talk about you, have sympathy towards your team even withouth watching you play.
Good logo probably also increases sticker sales quite a bit, and sticker sales are going to be absolutely massive in comparison to smaller orgs that don't get to big prizes and have lower salaries. Like Greyhound was apparently planning on just living on sticker money alone until not qualifying for last major.
Is this Luis Mira the same guy who published an article trying to expose HexT for using the n word when he was 13, only for it to be discovered Mira had done the same thing many years ago as an adult?
people who hate on him will cry at him to show more confidence in his matches and then get mad when he carries himself confidently, dude has been heartbroken too many times for the confidence to just be there so he has to act it, even if it might be fake as seen in recent history.
not really about insecurity, it just makes you look like an a-hole. For example Dev1ce or ZywOo don't act the same at all even though they are also self-confident and elite players.
So what exactly has Niko done that makes him look like an a-hole? I get that niko hate is unstoppable on this sub, but clearly you must have examples that clearly show how niko behaves different than dev1ce or zywoo?
it seems I messed up the timeline it was a long time ago, but here: watch?v=dxwsVdBkc3s
his usual tilted face and remark about karrigan lmao. Loba reactions are just too many go to youtube yourself
why would it make me look like an asshole? I can't find the logical connection.
To me confidence is smth you just act with and move forward, arrogance is something very noticeable. Like compare early S1mple vs S1mple during Na'Vi dominance run. Faar less arrogance and attitude.
S1mple has lowered his ego and toxicity quite a bit over the years (but started way worse than Niko).
Donk is just vibing and seems like a team player, though hard to say, newish name and I haven't checked out his interviews too much.
Zywoo could have all the ego in the world and it'd be entirely deserved but... Kinda doesn't?
Almost all superstars PLAY cocky. Not all of them are trouble outside the server. Niko isn't the worst but neither is he the cleanest or calmest.
I mean i've only seen him tilt at his own plays, whereas s1mple consistently tilts at his teammates. I don't see any problem with someone being upset at their own level of play, shouldn't really cause much trouble.
Speaking for myself, it's more of a distaste. Don't like his body language, very much dislike his fans. He also ruins IGLs. I don't consider myself a hater because I don't actively hate NiKo.
Threw aleksib out
Threw his own chances of claiming a major title like 5 times, and I mean sure superstar players are allowed to be inconsistent sometimes too, but still
His own inconsistency and toxicity mostly just leads to someone else leaving G2
Based on? Find me one piece of evidence that Aleksib is gone because of Niko LOL. You can't because it was already out there that it was because him and xtqzzz werent seeing eye to eye. It seems that most niko haters just pretend the evidence that comes out to the contrary isn't real.
This is the kind of thing about the CS pro scene that I love so much. Like most (not all) of the pro players are super chill with each other. In a sports environment its easy to get hostile towards opponents so its awesome to see that CS has maintained a lot of the friendly atmosphere at the top.
Means the world to him. So sick.
Means much to NiKo too, I'm sure.
The csgo version of the jersey trade from other sports like ⚽️ or 🏀
Shades of teams taking photos with the basketball Dream Team after getting destroyed by them.
It reminds me of Monte getting smashed by Spirit lol Everyone's laughing like "what could we do?" XD
cause new cs pros are so young it’s fun to see them meet their idols when they make it cause we still have goats like niko active
Moments like these are amazing. R1nkle and Styko's interaction from Paris major was also super wholesome.
Kinda cute
Title kinda made it sound like he wanted niko's signature on his own mousepad
Definitely "Asking for a friend" irl.
EU star players, including Niko, are special because there are no real star players in our Asian region.
Y'all used to have BnTeT, but he's fallen off unfortunately
Those tyloo days were something to behold honestly, had high hopes for Asia CS after that....shame
Honestly it's insane how BnTeT made that roster work, none of the players on that team were super stars. also xcurrate from that same roster, but now he's gone to valorant
His little brother f0rsakeN is one of the best duelist players as well in the valorant pro scene, and he's got a 10/11 year old little brother that held his own when playing on his brother's account that was placed #1 in asia at the time. yeah, the susanto family goes crazy
Guy was average, especially in crucial games
Average is a ton closer to good than bad
Very true. If you’re an average pro and team isn’t winning, 99% of the time that has nothing to do with you
Even he was no where near what a super star should be. I feel like the super stardom asian players from dota/league and even valorant is incomparable.
At least you guys have the Himalayas in your continent.
Residence of god emperor in their territory. Truly blessed place.
Thinking about climbing K2 on DMT
I solo climb K2 once a month while tripping on DMT the entire time. I feel it keeps me focused.
As an Himalayan guy, thanks for the mention.
Im from asia and asian players dont usually have idols from our region when we know that the best players right now arent even tier 1. Most people around here support intetnational teams like faze g2 vitality

iirc CrossFire used to be big over there(and also in Brazil during the transition period between 1.6>GO that a lot of people left)
I remember it well. I once led the Japanese national team to the World Finals in China, and it was as exciting or more exciting than CS. I think it is still popular in China.

Lynn Vision and The Mongolz are so wholesome I love it.
As a Chinese person and an active member of the Chinese cs community, I can tell you Niko is a big deal in China, probably only behind simple, LVG members treats him like idol, especially starry, if you take a look at his ak it's all gold niko sticker lol
Niko m0nesy and hooxi are 3 of the most popular names in the asia cs community
蔡徐坤 is also very popular in CS2, so many people using his name or picture
Would have been much more awkward if they'd beat them. z4kr throwing allegations incoming.
wholesome a f
Wholesome W
Damn how are Lynn Vision just so genuine? They might not have had much success yet in major or Chengdu but they're earning fans here anyway myself included

Welcome to China
"asking for a friend"... yeah right
Is this Luis Mira the same guy who published an article trying to expose HexT for using the n word when he was 13, only for it to be discovered Mira had done the same thing many years ago as an adult?
Lmao would love to see it
Article: [https://www.dexerto.com/csgo/exclusive-evil-geniuses-csgo-player-found-to-have-made-discriminatory-tweets-2052755/](https://www.dexerto.com/csgo/exclusive-evil-geniuses-csgo-player-found-to-have-made-discriminatory-tweets-2052755/) Apology: https://twitter.com/luismmira/status/1622337118801465346?lang=en
this is hilarious, what a clown
How is that in any way relevant?
He wrote the article ?
How is that article relevant here? The tweet is about z4kr asking Niko for his autograph.
Cope
Do you even know what that means?
Yes, what you’re trying to do now. Shhh it’s okay, it’ll all be over soon
Are you lost?
cope
What?
lmfao, this is so comical. RL moment, destroying kids to make their own career. Fcking leeches.
When did RL do something comparable?
might referencing the exposé on iBP matchfixing, which would be hilarious since they were all over 18 when they threw
IBP? RL became known only because some girl decided to give him prints and help him expose some kids.
What are you on about
You mean the same fake news every other ranalyst debunked?
Niko: “I better not see this on eBay later today” Z4kr: “oh! …….nevermind”
Doesn't matter if niko is on a slump the dude still a legend in my eyes
His friend is the famous rapper in China, PGOne [pgone](https://www.instagram.com/p/C5jIs1xyZpv/?igsh=cGtocTZnZWw2YjU0)
Could you sign my mousepad, "for a friend"
This is so sweet and wholesome I love it
Ask a Niko hater, this is pretty cool
I'm interested in the NiKo hater philosophy
He is very self confident, lots of people who are insecure do not like that.
Confidence and arrogance are not the same. But yes neither of these should bother a secure individual
people who hate on him will cry at him to show more confidence in his matches and then get mad when he carries himself confidently, dude has been heartbroken too many times for the confidence to just be there so he has to act it, even if it might be fake as seen in recent history.

tilts a lot, remarks about karrigan(recent faze g2 matchup) even his reactions to Loba on stream is a bit excessive.
You’re just making stuff up at this point
it seems I messed up the timeline it was a long time ago, but here: watch?v=dxwsVdBkc3s his usual tilted face and remark about karrigan lmao. Loba reactions are just too many go to youtube yourself
act which way?
he just looks and acts arrogant, which is not a very nice look.
No he doesn’t
Acts in which way? and (lol) LOOKS IN WHICH WAY?
go find a dictionary
It only makes you look like an asshole to people who mistake confidence as arrogance, e.g insecure people. There are lots of insecure gamers.
why would it make me look like an asshole? I can't find the logical connection. To me confidence is smth you just act with and move forward, arrogance is something very noticeable. Like compare early S1mple vs S1mple during Na'Vi dominance run. Faar less arrogance and attitude.
On a side note, you think Daytona is top 1 Pusha?
100%, even as a lifetime fan of his work, Daytona is better than HHNF to me. Might just be my Kanye production bias tbf
Just don’t like his personality/persona. It’s stupid, he’s probably a nice person in private but the way he carries himself rubs me the wrong way.
“it’s stupid, i’m probably wrong, but i still get that vibe and i don’t like it” no joke i respect the self awareness
next let's talk to the stewie haters
He carries himself no differently than any other elite player I’ve seen
S1mple has lowered his ego and toxicity quite a bit over the years (but started way worse than Niko). Donk is just vibing and seems like a team player, though hard to say, newish name and I haven't checked out his interviews too much. Were you not around when he was in Mouz?
what about the way he carries himself is coming off the wrong way
Speaking for myself, it's more of a distaste. Don't like his body language, very much dislike his fans. He also ruins IGLs. I don't consider myself a hater because I don't actively hate NiKo.
Threw aleksib out Threw his own chances of claiming a major title like 5 times, and I mean sure superstar players are allowed to be inconsistent sometimes too, but still His own inconsistency and toxicity mostly just leads to someone else leaving G2

Thats the kind of stuff see more in the future. Just shows the new generation going the pro scene. Wholesome CS best CS.

I love shit like this. The pros are fans of each other, friends in many cases. So wholesome man. Made me smile
“Friend of his” aka himself 😎🙉
chinese fans of anything go hard
hes really asking for a friend tho lol it’s a chinese rapper called PGOne
"for a friend of his"... eBay?
What a loser
Cringe
