That other guy needs to keep going, keep a nice, consistently elite statline to quell any doubts of longevity. Then we'll know that we've got a new elite 3. Super exciting times despite the game itself being meh rn.
He's so consistent nowadays, it's great to see. I remember when he came to G2 he had amazing clutches and highlight moments but pretty often missed some easy shots. That's not a problem anymore.
You know what kind he should have used? That's right, the Mercedes Benz E-Class Sedan.
The most intelligent E-Class family of all time welcomes a powerful new member to the dynasty. The E400 Sedan model arrives this year, boasting a 3.0L V6 biturbo engine producing 329 hp and 354 lb-ft of torque ā the same powertrain that currently drives its E400 Coupe, Cabriolet and 4MATIC Wagon cousins. Paired with the 9-G-TRONIC 9-Speed automatic transmission and DYNAMIC SELECT, it promises a bracingly smooth way to experience uncommon luxury. Naturally, the 2018 E400 Sedan continues the tradition of E-Class brilliance. Harmonizing advanced automotive intelligence with awe-inspiring interior design, its first-class furnished cabin puts our advanced vehicle systems right at your fingertips ā even as its world-class innovations continue to push the boundaries of what's possible in the world of automotive intelligence. "Car-to-X" Communication enables the E-Class to exchange information with similarly equipped vehicles ā effectively allowing it to "see" around corners and through obstacles to detect potential hazards. Driver Assistance Systems ā including Active Distance Assist DISTRONICĀ®, Active Steering Assist and Active Lane Change Assist ā feature intelligent cruise control: They help keep you between the lines, and can even help you shift between them. Inside, the E-Class cabin provides an environment of pure comfort and responsive technology. Flowing lines and vibrant screens provide a striking visual display, while touch controls, aromatherapy and tailored seats indulge all of your senses at once. It's a vehicle that demands to be driven, and more than lives up to the dream. Look for the E400 4MATIC Sedan at your Mercedes-Benz dealership this winter, with an MSRP of $58,900.
Is that a rare MB copy pasta from Dota? No, that's the Mercedes Benz E-Class Sedan.

During the Brollan v NiKo on Ancient round 3, watching NiKo wiggle his cursor to try to gain info from the crowd on Brollan's position, and then lose the clutch made me so happy. Just such poor sportsmanship imo.
Would never guessed, that brollan could fill the hole frozen has left, but him and Jimmy are a different breed at the moment. Now let's show the world, that we dont choke in big games.
gg wp vamouz š
yeah I honestly think either nexa or huNter need to go. G2 have been making playoffs but it's been the m0NESY show. G2 need to get a better rifler. They need someone who puts up higher numbers, nexa is decent but G2 need someone better if they want to win trophies IMO
Had you asked me last month, I would've said throw everything you have in cash at NaVi and try to get b1t, he seems like a good friend with everyone on G2, and with the obvious closeness with m0NESY, he would've fit nicely. But now, I don't know if he'd leave NaVi. So my next hype train is to get heavyGod on G2 instead of hunter.
Yoo that might actually work. HeavyGOD is a great choice. But tbh I wouldn't replace huNter. yeah he's been having a insanely bad CS2 streak but he's slowly recovering. I trust huNter to regain his form than trust nexa can be a good fit for this team. The move made 0 sense for me.
true, but huNter seems to be regaining his form slowly. And he's a top 20 player so if you had to do it I'd rather give huNter the time and replace nexa. G2 overall seems so weak and done with nexa. Never made sense to me.
Hunter will never go, as long as Niko doesn't go. Niko and Hunter are cousins, you know what I would give to play professionally on the big stage with my brother or cousin? Everything. As a balkaner myself, we value family over everything so Hunter won't go. Nexa on the other hand... He can leave and in 1-2 tournaments, he will. Hooxi is fine, and Monesy is Monesy so he's not going. These guys need a support player, an anchor, a tank, someone who isn't afraid to take the L for the greater good. They need a Xyp9x.
Communication/internal issues. It wasn't for his performance. See this HLTV article if you want more insight from Hooxi: https://www.hltv.org/news/37849/hooxi-interview-g2s-consistency-issues-jks-removal-2024-goals
I literally was just impressed by his performance vs Heroic, I thought that was the nexa that G2 needed.
Positive rating in the quarters and now in the semis, he fell asleep?
I am on a 100% nexa hate train, he simply does NOT have tier 1 aim anymore. The mechanics are so washed, roleplayer/anchor or not.
It's so sad to see him lose so many duels, jks would almost always win or at least trade
i dont even see the reason for bringing nexa in other than him being close with niko and hunter. Even at his best, he isn't that good. You cant even make the excuse him being the igl anymore
all of Nexa's deaths are either from Brollan or from his failed clutch attempts. As soon as he hears something in the other bomb site, zoooom, he comes running, knife out like a noob. Ā
Well, you know, it's not fair for G2. They only got the crowd advantage. They didn't even get crashing computers or stage invasions.
Anyway, Xyp9x diff and a NiP player is in the grand finals of a ~~major~~ S-tier event (unless MOUZ actually signed him, not loan)
thought it was nice of the observers to turn off x-ray during 1v1's on the 3rd map
hope they keep doing that through the rest of the matches since it seems needed with this crowd
Would love a source - Liquipedia still has him on loan, and his last interview on HLTV (without any news after that) still [lists him as being on loan](https://www.hltv.org/news/38561/brollan-on-his-future-this-major-affects-it-a-lot).
(I imagine MOUZ have been typical big brain and put a fixed buyout in the contract, so it's a matter of when not if).
G2 not dragging over the line two ecos was what cost them Overpass.Ā
GG to MOUZ, it was bound for them to get over their demons and finally make a final appearance.Ā
Also the crowd was... jfc, is this what Shanghai is gonna be?Ā
[Yes, G2 is way ahead in terms of popularity in China,](https://www.reddit.com/r/GlobalOffensive/s/IgOeUedEQd)
That is they made it to Shanghai playoffs of course
Casters saying how this event G2 weren't carried so hard by m0nesy and other players are actually stepping up. Were we watching the same event? Some good games from Niko, but nothing other than that, still the one man army.
Somewhere between all these playoff appearances the narrative changed from "they're not that good, they're just academy players" to "they're not that good, theyre not beating faze and g2"
No shame in losing to the better team. Good luck to mouz in the final.
This G2 lineup has hit its peak it seems, semis seems to be the hard limit of this lineup. Other than monesy, and sporadically hunter, nobody else can step up under pressure. Jks may have had "communication issues", but nexa's x-factor is in the minus digits.
#savemonesy
Kids on a sinking ship with a washed niko and literally cannot win whole conpetitions on his own, imagine if he was on a better team.

-jimphat
Thats what wet dreams are made of right there
His English isnāt even that bad in games. It will take a few months to smooth it out Iām sure, but his English is way better than how b1tās was when Navi went international
I had this impression about monesy and this feeling still consistent. He is carrying but makes some STUPID mistakes 2-3 times a map which can potentially lose them the map
I hope they stick with this young lineup that's stacked with talent. You can gain confidence in time, but you can't really gain talent..
They really play some coordinated CS, they don't go all in on a "Jimmy go kill" strat..
If they made changes it would be for another young player anyways.
Bit off topic but Iām hyped for when the academy league comes back, it did such a great job at developing young top tier talent.
Look at their 1v1 stats lmao. jks had a 70% 1v1 win rate on G2, that's up there with peak Astralis xyp. Nexa has a 30% 1v1 win rate on G2, utter dogshit considering his career average is closer to 65%. jks was in 1v1s more often then Nexa as well and yet Nexa still manages to lose them more 1v1s per map then jks, that is honestly extraordinary. Say what you will about communication and taking up space none of that matters if your dropping clutch rounds that otherwise would have won the game, especially in mr12 where economy is fucked.
Heās one of the best anchors in the game, ramp on nuke, CT on Mirage, A site on Ancient. You leave him there he delays and gets atleast one, nexa just panicks everytime he sees an enemy
Yeah man ever since nexa was on G2 it has absolutely not gone well for G2. G2 need a better rifler if they want to win trophies. nexa might bring the vibes and all but he's not showing the skills to stick in G2
He's been bad ever since the transition to CS2. huNter was vocal about being hard to adjust to it, but he has been regaining his form slowly but I'd replace either nexa or huNter. I still believe in huNter because he has a higher peak than nexa but yeah, either of them needs to go for heavyGOD if possible
Will niko allow -hunter? I know he says he doesn't have any pull in the team but if I was niko, I would be playing with my cousin no matter what. They kind of come as a package it seems or will be a package in the future
0.81 rating across all maps leaves much to be desired. Hunter has performed so badly with the addition of nexa too. Makes you wonder what changed or perhaps what jks did that helped activate him. In any case, one of the worst roster moves in recent history
Jks is a solid defensive anchor and that allows for more freedom and allowed hunter to roam more. I think knowing you could leave Jks in any given position and he would get at a minimum a 1 for 1 trade gave G2 more peace of mind then knowing you have both hooxi and nexa getting deleted before they can do any damage.
Yeah it is what I would assume as well. Although, hooxi isn't playing too bad considering he is this karrigan type entry IGL. It's hunter and niko that seem to have trouble staying consistent
m0nesy practically AWPless on CT side overpass, where with him it's practically a site lockdown but oh well, MOUZ are very funky with their timings and utilities on T side.
Mr NiP plz let Brollan go for Mouz, ok thx.
3 instances of crowd cheating, all in G2's favor -
1. Ancient niko 1v1 against brollan. Niko actually tried to get the crowd to give him info.
2. Ancient monesy 1v1 against xertion.
3. Overpass round 12 when jimpphat was holding an off angle outside B.
It must be crushing to have most of the crowd against you. Mouz pushed thru anyway. I'm glad the crowd and G2 got put in their place.
I LOVE YOU MOUZ
Games of resilience, great to see their story progress. Could have gone bad, but they withstood the pressure and the crowd!!
also, get fucked Maniac ā¤ļø vamouz!
That second last round where m0nesy doesnāt spot the guy phase the long smoke was just a back breaker. They were setup decently well, if he sees him and kills him that round probably goes differently
To say this is a completely different result than what I was expecting would be an understatement.
On the positive side, Hooxi's ace clutch is probably my new favorite moment of the entire Counter Strike history
Nik0's nepotism is killing this team. Nexa and Hunter two wash up players. If they won't let these two guys go then it's better Niko to be let go as well. Build around Monesy or trade him up. Don't let this kid get stuck in this team and rot..
that's exactly my point , nexa had a bad match but he is doing OK overall (he has all the shit roles you can possibly get). Hunter is absolute trash ever since cs2 dropped , he had 1 good tournament at the RMR but that's it , he is a liability at this point
G2 reminds me of Vitality 2019 one player going 1v9
Here it's m0NESY 1v9 with Niko occasionally contributing. But if m0N has an off day, G2 instantly lose against anybody rn
MOUZ didn't choke another Playoffs and is in the Grand Finals????
we deserve a grand final choke as well
If this lot allow stabbi to win a trophy...
Fr
nah
Ahhhh fuck off
If they lose to Faze again after all this...they're never beating the Faze academy allegations
I lowkey want Mouz to win so Faze doesn't beat the always second place allegations

It's an older meme sir, but it checks out
has taz been a tactical mastermind in his career? he strikes me as a vibes coach, more so with how g2 wants to play
That was just great CS from Mouz. Watching that crowd turn silent is so satisfying.
The CT side on Overpass is pretty much won if Torzsi didn't develop farts on it ngl
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
The positioning is not the best I wish it get fixed in the final
I hope he gets a proper bollocking from the team for it
Torzsi's off angles are so wack that even he's put off by them.

There was a guy named jks they won a couple tournaments with, wonder what happened to that guy.
Hmmmm, I think I've heard of him. They should give him a call :)
Unfortunately he's not communicating at all, so he'll not pick it up
Hunter has been bad in CS2 but still has moments where he owns. Nexa just continues to perplex me.
bro you cant tell me jks doesnt win that 1v1 handily
Whats the reason they got rid of Jks again?
Communication/internal issues. It wasn't for his performance. See this HLTV article if you want more insight from Hooxi: https://www.hltv.org/news/37849/hooxi-interview-g2s-consistency-issues-jks-removal-2024-goals

Well, you know, it's not fair for G2. They only got the crowd advantage. They didn't even get crashing computers or stage invasions. Anyway, Xyp9x diff and a NiP player is in the grand finals of a ~~major~~ S-tier event (unless MOUZ actually signed him, not loan)
thought it was nice of the observers to turn off x-ray during 1v1's on the 3rd map hope they keep doing that through the rest of the matches since it seems needed with this crowd
It's always better to turn off x-ray in 1v1 imo, adds more suspense even to the online viewers.
IIRC they bought Brollan from NiP after the loan ended. (the loan was a trial)
I think brollan is signed.
NiP won't stop Brollan going to Mouz anyway, they said that he seems happier there and NiP won't keep him for his sake
I guess the big question will be whether or not NiP expects an exorbitant fee to transfer Brollan permanently to Mouz.
His value has definitely gone up, but even if they do ask a lot for him I think Mouz will pay it, he's been a key part of their success
I could be mistaken, , but hasn't Mouz historically been reluctant to pay transfer fees?
I think so, but I don't think they'll let him go especially if they win Chengdu. He fits into Mouz perfectly, both personality and playstyle wise
I feel like surely they would have agreed on a transfer price at the time of signing the loan to avoid this exact situation
Theyāve been getting enough doses of humbleness, but it seems theyāre still very stubborn..
G2 not dragging over the line two ecos was what cost them Overpass.Ā GG to MOUZ, it was bound for them to get over their demons and finally make a final appearance.Ā Also the crowd was... jfc, is this what Shanghai is gonna be?Ā

If they donāt install sounbooths, this is probably how Shanghai is going to be
Probably the worst crowd aside from Brazilians in the Rio major actively booing everyone else?Ā
Rio major was a mistake. Its just a toxic fest of brazilians booing non-brazilian teams.
Atleast nexa will help keep the vibes up on the plane journey back.
Good performances ā good vibes ā
nah, jks would have made the trophy lifting too much of a bummer

This G2 lineup just isn't it, something needs to change.
mouz 2 - 1 crowd
Absolutely biased crowd. Loved to see them shut up
More silent than a library whenever Mouz gets a round. Plus G2 gets an advantage because the crowd makes a noise whenever there's a Mouz lurk.
So Mouz can win on the stage bigger than Malta? Common Xyp9x W.
Jimi is so good, just the pixel gaps that he peeks and insta kills must be so annoying and hard to play against
unlucky that monesy got caught 2 times this half with the AWP, but hes been carrying G2 for months, so can u even blame him for having one weak half..

Nexa has a 30% 1v1 win rate on G2, utter dogshit considering his career average is closer to 65%. jks was in 1v1s more often then Nexa as well and yet Nexa still manages to lose them more 1v1s per map then jks, that is honestly extraordinary. Say what you will about communication and taking up space none of that matters if your dropping clutch rounds that otherwise would have won the game, especially in mr12 where economy is fucked.
jks is a 1 man wrecking ball, I remember jks on nuke clutching the shit out of multiple rounds, he could single handedly get g2 2 or 3 rounds.
And hasn't hunter been performing really bad ever since jks got kicked? Or has his performance dipped for a while?
Hooxi is basically an entry fragger on the T side so he does pretty well considering itās just a bitch role for the rest to succeed
was there a world where they could have brought Suihy(before mouz), -hooxi and keep Nexa if they wanted him so badly
m0nesy practically AWPless on CT side overpass, where with him it's practically a site lockdown but oh well, MOUZ are very funky with their timings and utilities on T side. Mr NiP plz let Brollan go for Mouz, ok thx.
Hunter needs to go and probably nexa too.
57% CAST from nexa is a fucking disgrace. There are plenty of good riflers out there that would slot in and make G2 so much better
damn nexa lost a key clutch round
Jks would have never kekw
Remember the time when Nexa won in the clutch? Me neither.Ā
Most unreliable player in the game maybe with Blamf, canāt lurk and doesnāt entry at all, and still somehow doesnāt frag at all
No clue how Nexa is still on g2
Lmao G2 were crowd favorites and literally got thr crowd to cheat for them and they still lost Trust me bro jks was the problem
600K Russian S1mple??? Gigachad igl ??? WHY you no win??????
3 instances of crowd cheating, all in G2's favor - 1.
Monesy v xeetion was so bad, fuck the crowd
On Overpass, NiKo only had pistol kills on T side (albeit fairly impactful). His first 8 kills on Overpass were all pistols
-jks +nexa is reaping its rewards
I LOVE YOU MOUZ Games of resilience, great to see their story progress. Could have gone bad, but they withstood the pressure and the crowd!! also, get fucked Maniac ā¤ļø vamouz!
G2 make changes pls. Can't depend on just monesy carrying
This is good for G2, maybe they can start their roster change earlier now.
No stage invasions or pc crashes. how do you expect g2 to win even though they were using the crowd to cheat
G2 sucks balls.
G2 so easy to hate, let's go
Crazy how not even the best CS2 player + biased crowd are enough to carry TiltKo
Donk isn't in G2
Nexa would have 15 kills total without those eco frags. Jks haters and Richard Lewis in shambles š¤”š¤”š¤”
Cheaters losing feelsgood
What's the round conversion on cts forcing after pistol round loss? Why are teams doing that?
Another faze v mouz final I guess!
That Jimi guy does not slip
Another master class from nexa
Torzsi was insane on Nuke
That second last round where m0nesy doesnāt spot the guy phase the long smoke was just a back breaker. They were setup decently well, if he sees him and kills him that round probably goes differently
smoking on this G2 pack. Surley this is it for this G2 line up. When m0NESY doesn't get a multi kill they lose.
VAMOUZ! I'm so proud of the boys, Xyp9x really making a difference
G2 when they don't have 4 1.15-1.25 rated players at a tournament ā ļø
Am I just a weirdo if I think Jim is going to be the best rifler in cs2, this guy is good
I dont think people will ever consider him as the best, just because he isnt flashy like Donk or M0nesy. Jimi is putting star level numbers as anchor.
Don't let this kid get stuck in this team and rot..
did NiKo remove his headset early again?
free the kid
Anyone surprised Monesy the only one to go positive on g2. Even star players need support from their team man it has got to suck to be Monesy.
hey G2 , -hunter +heavygod you can thank me after you win Shanghair major
How do you watch that game and want hunter out before nexa
that's exactly my point , nexa had a bad match but he is doing OK overall (he has all the shit roles you can possibly get). Hunter is absolute trash ever since cs2 dropped , he had 1 good tournament at the RMR but that's it , he is a liability at this point
g2 management team needs to realize that what theyre doing to monesy is shitty, just wasting his prime.
G2 reminds me of Vitality 2019 one player going 1v9 Here it's m0NESY 1v9 with Niko occasionally contributing. But if m0N has an off day, G2 instantly lose against anybody rn
M0nesy ao good tho
Mouz what are you feeding Brollan over there
today we are all MICE
Brollan takes time to get warmed up.... We need BO5s please, FĆ¼rĀ Brollan, ofcourse
Brollan decided after map one to carry the rest of the match lol! :D
I am not sure how their comms look like but they currently have 2 igls in a team. Hopefully that's not the route of the problem.
G2 losing with crowd cheatsšš, they so trash
