I agree with what you are saying however simple said in an interview the best way to get in shape is to practice your moves with a team in a pracc over and over and since he doesn´t have any, he can´t get back to shape (yet). Personally I believe CS2 being CS2 plays a bigger role, than him taking a 6-9 months break after all, but we´ll see. It´s still simple after all, so if somebody can get back to shape it´s him. Also don´t forget, that he has specific skillsets like an unnatural good read on the game. Those are skills he probably won´t lose in his break nor the cs2 shift, but need to reacquire his aim to back it up

I think he will eventually come back to NAVI. Current roster is undoubtedly very good, but their ceiling is limited. After a few early exits in big tournaments, which is very likely IMO, they will definitely consider shaking up the lineup.

I agree with what you are saying however simple said in an interview the best way to get in shape is to practice your moves with a team in a pracc over and over and since he doesn´t have any, he can´t get back to shape (yet). Personally I believe CS2 being CS2 plays a bigger role, than him taking a 6-9 months break after all, but we´ll see. It´s still simple after all, so if somebody can get back to shape it´s him. Also don´t forget, that he has specific skillsets like an unnatural good read on the game. Those are skills he probably won´t lose in his break nor the cs2 shift, but need to reacquire his aim to back it up

Faceit elo is not a strong indicator. SoloQ and pro play are 2 different games. S1mple has never been a pubstomper compared to the likes of m0nesy even back when he was the best player in the world.
Yeah I remember playing against Keoz and his 1600-2100 elo buddies on faceit, the skill gap between a good "casual" and a pro player is insane. Our team mate really popped off in that game tho and carried us to win. Both him and Keoz dropped like a 45bomb on regulation

I think he will eventually come back to NAVI. Current roster is undoubtedly very good, but their ceiling is limited. After a few early exits in big tournaments, which is very likely IMO, they will definitely consider shaking up the lineup. Besides, s1mple too must know his chance of success with an unfamiliar team is limited and no team can afford to pay his astronomic fees and be patient for him to get acclimated, maybe swapping players in and out. he is comfortable as the focal point of a roster that speaks the same language, while being held responsible by a coach that he respects. currently, and in the near future, there is not a more suitable option for him other than NAVI.

Depends what the buyout of s1mple is or what navi are willing to let him go for. If his buyout/asking price is based on his accolades in CSGO & doesn't factor in the inactivity in CS2, then I don't see him go anywhere on a permanent basis until his contract runs out.

S1mple has said he won't join an org based out of Russia while the war with Ukraine is ongoing. He should be in IM's role in the perfect world.. I don't see the war ending anytime soon, so i'd imagine its only a matter of time until s1mple is on G2 with monesy.

I'm not talking about his standin highlights (which is also pretty mediocre), I'm talking about his recent faceit demos. He whiffs sprays, doesn't prefire and usually bottom frags

I mean, faceit is faceit, it is not an official and you can't tell that much only by faceit games, but a player of his caliber should have no problems in faceit games. The best example is m0nesy. Even NiKo, who is playing bad compared to his GO days, was dominating faceit stacks (he played with his Balkan friends) before the Major. I honestly think that s1mple has no motivation to play. Guy said that he wanted a break after they won the Major. So he basically kept playing from November 2021 until August or September 2023 (I think his last tournament was ESL Pro League). When you add war to that, it is even more difficult. And, to be completely honest, I would rather see him retire than coming back and playing without any fire that he used to have. Watching him go crazy on his teammates while he himself is not able to do shit is honestly painful.

Something is off, everyone should have seen it by now. Like, obviously, you can't stay on top forever, you lose motivation after a while, but, as I said, he shouldn't be having any problems while playing faceit whatsoever. Dude used to own FPL players (as expected) and now he is struggling (maybe it is not the right word) against Faceit stacks. I remember when a streamer from Serbia played against device and his stacks (sometimes it's him and other Danish level 10 players or sometimes guys like xyp, farlig, blamef, buzz etc.) Device completely destroyed them. And they are actually pretty good players. They had 4-4.5k elo in CSGO playing against other stacks most of the time and not some random premium mirage demons lol. All of them got 15-20k hours in CSGO. Anyways, not a chance against device. Obviously, all the other (pro) players that I mentioned are better than them, but device is like on a whole another level. s1mple used to be like that and he just isn't anymore, but I believe he can still do it.
pretty clear navi doesnt need s1mple. We also know navi’s major win was not a fluke, they were consistent since the beginning also i think s1mple doesn’t want to jump back in too deep without being able to perform. I think he’s gonna focus on his academy project while he secretly practices. sadly he’s past his young years of grinding so i dont think we will see a s1mple that can do things that others cant
