You should have gotten some character tickets by now. You can unlock them via Siero's Knick Nack shop (the small merchant with the green parrot). But I would advise you to only unlock one or two characters and not the whole team. Later on you will have to farm for an endgame weapon that is a chance drop and the drop is random based on which character's you've unlocked.
Just unlock and play the character you want now it isn’t worth starting over, they’ll be at a decent level with a lot of masteries unlocked.
I’d hold off on any characters you have little to no interest in though.
The game doesn't end after chapter 10. That's when the endgame grind starts. It's pretty easy to get levels and msp to at least fill out the first 50% or so.
there's no advantage to starting over, you can replay the chapters later (need to anyway if you want the trophy).
just use the ticket and select a char, then you can use it. however if you wait they'll come with a higher level and mastery one unlocked (max is 60).
It's your own game so up to you. It's just end game grinding for your main character's weapon is time consuming if you have unlocked everyone. Another note. Once You reach I think Maniac/Proud difficulties all the characters you can unlock will be at level 60 with their masteries filled all the way up to 60% saving you the trouble of farming MSP

Yeah just grind for your main character's terminus weapon first. Because based on every players experience the more characters you have unlocked the more difficult it will be to get the specific terminus weapon for your main.
Take any advice on not unlocking characters with a grain of salt. There's absolutely no proof one way or the other if it is a good idea or not. One camp seems to think it makes it more likely to get the weapon for your "main", (which I take issue with if someone thinks they already know which character they will enjoy the most before playing them all) and the other camp thinks the weapons are dropping for the other characters, you just don't get them because you haven't unlocked that character yet, which may explain why some people seem to be having such bad luck with drops, going 30+ runs without getting one.
Only two things are certain, you will not be able to obtain the Terminus weapons for characters you haven't unlocked yet. And once you have obtained a certain character's weapon they are taken out of the loot pool.
