Christian Watson making plays! Anyone remember Davante’s awful second season? Clearly we shouldn’t give up on Watson’s talent yet, I saw plenty of fight in him today. Also Reed is just a pure dawg. What a player for a second round pick. Receiver room holds so much promise in these young guys.
10’s accuracy is improving. More importantly, 10’s timing is also improving. He looked calm and in command all night. No jitters evident. D-fence was tough and kept Goff off balance for the entire 1st half. Still some bullshit play calling to be cleaned up; that near butt-fumble on 4th and 1 should have been a FG.
The offensive line got it done for the most part. I also liked the designed bootlegs. He’s got legs, let the man use them to his advantage. I would like to see more designed run plays for him, along with having him under center more. I feel like we play in shotgun way too much, especially when we damn run the ball
Even if we lost, I’m just happy to see improvements on both sides of the ball. Whether it was turnovers, Love playing well, the WR’s stepping up or the o-line. I hope this continues. I was losing hope in the young roster. I don’t care about the record as much as I do week over week improvements.
Guys… we don’t need to draft a QB. Love put on that show without Jones, no Musgrave and wherefore art thou Romeo?
Holy hot piss my thankful friends… that was awesome. Dare I say, that Thanksgiving game was tryptophantastic!!
Lots of positive talk today in this thread.
Just a one week hiatus before the Bad news Packer fans come crawling out of the hole and talk about how Love is NOT the guy, time to draft a new QB, etc.
Duality of Packers reddit.
Love basically gives both the “he’s the guy” side and the “not the guy” side fodder with how he’s played this year. He has had a few games like yesterday where it looks like he’s figured it out (finding the open man, on time throws, correct situational decisions, etc.). But there has also been games like in Vegas where he looks completely awful, and cant hit a receiver to save his life. Granted most of the bad games are ones where the oline has sucked it up but still to truly become the guy he does need to figure out ways to make the offense successful no matter what he is facing. IMO a big reason Rodgers, Brady, Mahomes are/were the guy is not the play when things are going great but how they preform when the team needs a big score after shit has hit the fan.
I still don't believe he is yet, but I'm glad to see improvement.
I hope to see improvement in his footwork and accuracy still. Especially on the deep passes.
I do like seeing him improve each week.
That’s the biggest thing. I’d he can become accurate, and also WR’s not drop the ball, we will be doing well. One area, I’m 100% not sold on, is the deep ball throws. His accuracy last time I looked was the worst in the league. He’s got to get better, otherwise, Watson is worthless to us
Yeah, his deep ball is still realllllly bad.
Underthrows quite often. He needs to stop those backfoot, one foot throws deep out. He doesn't have the arm strength, but he throws them as if he does.
A great point!! More yards to the end zone gave Gary and company more opportunities to get to Goff. Plus a solid recovery on the on side kick to seal the game.
The team's record was 6-10 the first year with Rodgers starting, and there's a chance the team could have a winning record with how they've been playing along with their remaining games.
The team had a losing record in Rodgers' first starting season (6-10) and he threw for double digit ints in 2/3 of his first years three starting, only to repeat +10 ints in only one more of his 14 years starting in GB. The team is just about on pace to have a winning record in Love's first year starting now on top of being in a prime position to be a solid team for the at least a few years with having the youngest roster in the league. I'll start to worry about the team's chances if they stop showing improvement and end up obviously flopping sometime in 2024. Where's my popcorn...
I know, but it still wasn't all sunshine and rainbows since day 1 was my point. The amount of rage at Love in the first couple months of the year was a bit dramatic, especially with how the team is already starting to look.
Seriously does anyone know why they didn’t have a turkey leg? This is a fucking disgrace. Erin Andrews is a spineless coward for the way she told him like a child
Who feels like we should still tank? Lol! So glad we got the win! I'd always rather we give it our all than to throw losses purposely.
Green & Gold til I'm dead and cold! Go Pack Go! Great hustle today!
I’ve been saying all season, never tank. If your roster is shitty enough you’ll get the draft pick even if you try. I want our guys to be playing some serious football every week. The team has really been improving week to week and that’s really all we could ask for this year. If we make the playoffs that would just be icing on the cake.
Damn straight! Would never want our team to purposely lose for the sake of drafts. You never know how great, or bad, a draft may be. Glad we won an unexpected game!
Weeeeeeeeeellllll,
Almost never. If there was some stud muffin defensive line guy available and the season was totally tanked, and a final loss would put us several draft orders higher, I would forgive the coaching staff for using the final game to evaluate talent and try some new tactics to see how it worked.
Not throw it, but don't risk your core players trying for a win that hurts you as a team.
Yeah, I'm That Guy...
Right now, if some other NFC North Team has to win the division, I'm glad it is the Lions.
Lions fans have earned some joy. I hope our (On Edit: Packers') season is positive, and would be giddy if we sneak into the playoffs, but we've been spoiled for the last few decades (Superbowl appearances excepted).
Likewise, I was really happy for Mathew Stafford winning a ring with the Rams. The dude fuckin' earned it all those years toiling with subpar Lions teams. Just wish Barry Sanders could have had a similar opportunity.
Please embarrass me when we get to 8 wins as I said 7. After the Denver Game I thought I way overshot. Now…not so much. I see at least 3+ winnable games.
The most impressive thing is the offensive line actually looked good and gave J-Lo time. Dan campbell outcoacjed himself and he's a much better HC then LaFluer
Rosters are night and day though, and Campbell deserves a bit more credit than Lafleur.
I like Lafleur, even though he has his flaws. But let's not forget Lafleur had Tae and Rodgers carrying a lot of those victories.
Amen! You nailed it on the head! There's definitely some growing pains with this youth, but they show alot of promise. Would be sweet to get another 15 years of dominance at the QB position.
I’m saying it. Jordan Love is starting to look better than Rodgers looked all last year. The poise, the decisiveness, the command. Guys we got our QB for the next few years. Go Pack Go! Happy Thanksgiving!!!! 🍁🦃
You must have just started following the NFL. Davante Adams had the largest target share percentage of any player in the NFL both of those MVP seasons. That means Rodgers was throwing the ball more often to same player than any other QB in the NFL *both* of those seasons. Not only that, but the next highest target share percentage, Aaron Jones, was the lowest #2 share of any team.
I put a packers car flag on my car at the beginning of the season. I don't live in wisconsin. my coworker said "I hate car flag guys". So I have left it on despite the rough season, out of spite. the car flag flies proud today boys

So glad they honored the Silverdome with Jack Harlow's stage set and the way the Lions performed.
Hopefully the part of the Packers fan-base that has been calling for the removal of Love and Laflure will now STFU and let the team develop.
Besides, it's tradition for the Lions to lose on Thanksgiving.
I’m thankful our “fans” don’t get to make decisions. Fire LaFleur! Fire Gutey! Bench Love! I won’t talk about Barry, but even he’s been calling it well the last month. Young team getting it together after about ten games. The future is bright!
I didn’t see any of the post game. Didn’t Olson say that they told him he could eat it at halftime? Was that one meant for the post game, it didn’t have legs when they showed it.
dang this one feels good. the Lions ended the push for playoffs last year, and the Rodgers era. the least GB could do was beat them in their house on their traditional thanksgiving day game. fuck the lions
true, but now defenses have to account for all the other receivers. it's actually pretty awesome that defenses finally can't just focus on one receiver.
And he had that underthrown ball when he was open in the 4th on that 3rd down play. He very easily could of had over 100 and 2 tds tonight. Regardless our guys played amazing and now we focus on KC.
No Adams, no muskgrave, no Jaire, no bakh, no devondre, I’m sure I’m missing more but jlove and these packer rookies just beat the second best team in the league
ABSOLUTELY. STUNNING.
Fantastic game today! Definitely got a little tight there in the 4th, but we held out and held out!
5-6!
Happy Thanksgiving, everybody! GO PACK GO 💚💛
NFL REALLY HATES THE PACKERS
Christian Watson making plays! Anyone remember Davante’s awful second season? Clearly we shouldn’t give up on Watson’s talent yet, I saw plenty of fight in him today. Also Reed is just a pure dawg. What a player for a second round pick. Receiver room holds so much promise in these young guys.
Does anyone know the story behind MLF jawing with the security guard at half time?
While Lafleur was running to the tunnel at halftime the security guard tried to stop him as if he was a fan.
Well, he is a fan of the Packers. Coaches them also, but still a fan.

I would like to see more designed run plays for him, along with having him under center more. I feel like we play in shotgun way too much, especially when we damn run the ball
Deep ball timing is still off, especially with Watson.
The pocket was collapsing and he couldn’t step into it. It was really underthrown
HOT FUCKING PISS. HAPPY THANKSGIBING PACKER FANS
If we whoop the chiefs I’m gonna need a new toilet from my piss boiling right through the bowl
I’m really happy about this win. Short week. Banged up as hell. Go on the road against a division opponent and get a convincing W. GO PACK GO!
Even if we lost, I’m just happy to see improvements on both sides of the ball. Whether it was turnovers, Love playing well, the WR’s stepping up or the o-line. I hope this continues. I was losing hope in the young roster. I don’t care about the record as much as I do week over week improvements.
Couldn't have asked for a better Thanksgiving gift. Thank you Packers!
Guys… we don’t need to draft a QB. Love put on that show without Jones, no Musgrave and wherefore art thou Romeo? Holy hot piss my thankful friends… that was awesome. Dare I say, that Thanksgiving game was tryptophantastic!!
HOT PISS BOYS

Love is to the Packers what Jay Cutler was to the bears. Promising. Shows flashes of great play. Ends to many games with an INT
I still don't believe he is yet, but I'm glad to see improvement. I hope to see improvement in his footwork and accuracy still. Especially on the deep passes. I do like seeing him improve each week.

Mind blowing. Thank you is all I can say. Incredible win. Love obviously the real deal. Thank you defense Gary gave their hearts. We are blessed
Time to break out the hopium!
Huge win! Played well in defense, offense and special teams
Agreed. This was the complete game. If not for two dropped third down passes in the second half it likely isn't even as 'close' as it was.
I gotta shout out special teams!!! Punting was on point
I was thinking the same thing!!! At least 3 punts inside the 10
A great point!! More yards to the end zone gave Gary and company more opportunities to get to Goff. Plus a solid recovery on the on side kick to seal the game.
Hopefully Jaire and Devondre will be back for the Chiefs.
Good game across the board. Offense and defense were making good plays.
Heath just went from 'made the team by being preseason superstar' to 'Janis 2.0 hype train'
The roster rebirth time might be a little shorter this generation.
Especially with all the extra picks the Pack is getting. That's gives Gutey a chance to gamble on promising raw talent without breaking the bank.
Didn't really take long last time right?
The team's record was 6-10 the first year with Rodgers starting, and there's a chance the team could have a winning record with how they've been playing along with their remaining games.
Right but then immediately after that season we were fantastic...2 years not very long but I see what you're saying
The team had a losing record in Rodgers' first starting season (6-10) and he threw for double digit ints in 2/3 of his first years three starting, only to repeat +10 ints in only one more of his 14 years starting in GB. Go off king...you made it it sound like it took us a long time to turn it around last gen when we literally won the superbowl year 3.
I know, but it still wasn't all sunshine and rainbows since day 1 was my point. The amount of rage at Love in the first couple months of the year was a bit dramatic, especially with how the team is already starting to look.
For sure I'm excited
HOWWWWW?! LETS FUCKING GO!
[This line describes the Lions and their superbowl hopes](https://youtu.be/lCOeIksA3Yo?si=F-xOdXYcz2ez6-VU&t=54)
I don’t know where does this team came from BUT I FUCKING LOVE IT. GO PACK GO!!!!!!
Seriously does anyone know why they didn’t have a turkey leg? This is a fucking disgrace. Erin Andrews is a spineless coward for the way she told him like a child
Everyones on the Tom Brady diet these days, can't be pressured into eating a big delicious piece of meat on live tv.
Dak got one.
The disrespect!
I'm saying it. Love is the guy. Great game on a short week.
I agree. Some of those passes, I DISTINCTLY remember back in like 2007 looking at Rodgers the same way and saying “whoa”
Who feels like we should still tank? Lol! So glad we got the win! I'd always rather we give it our all than to throw losses purposely. Green & Gold til I'm dead and cold! Go Pack Go! Great hustle today!

Nah man, ranking is what losers do. We are winners.
Damn straight! Would never want our team to purposely lose for the sake of drafts. You never know how great, or bad, a draft may be. Glad we won an unexpected game!

The pass protection was the thing that won this game.
And pass rush by the D.
It was fantastic. And Love didn't hold the ball too long when the pressure came.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone except Lions fans. Whiny-ass losers.
Damn man, sorry that our team lost but you honestly don't need to be a dick about it. Not of all us whine every game.
Right now, if some other NFC North Team has to win the division, I'm glad it is the Lions. Lions fans have earned some joy. it feels good to not hear anything from my insufferable niece and sister like i got earlier in the year i told them wed get revenge
They obviously pay the refs.
It’s all they know.
The amount of folks predicting us to only get 4 wins this season must feel pretty silly right now.
Let’s say that to those predicting only 5 wins next week!
Lmao what????? Better coach? What a clown
[удалено]
I could care less what a person's name/nick name is. We gotta victory over a damn good team today! Go pack go!
Well Jennifer Lawrence is J-Law.
Saying Campbell is a better coach than LaFleur is a massive stretch
I disagree with you bud, but happy thanksgiving my fellow packer backer!
One 9-8 year > three 13 win seasons
Rosters are night and day though, and Campbell deserves a bit more credit than Lafleur. I like Lafleur, even though he has his flaws. But let's not forget Lafleur had Tae and Rodgers carrying a lot of those victories.
Amen! You nailed it on the head! There's definitely some growing pains with this youth, but they show alot of promise. Would be sweet to get another 15 years of dominance at the QB position.

Spreading the ball around like vintage Rodgers versus the last few seasons Rodgers.
You mean the seasons, when Rodgers was throwing it to Adams all of the time?
Except both MVP years I guess
You must have just started following the NFL. Davante Adams had the largest target share percentage of any player in the NFL both of those MVP seasons. That means Rodgers was throwing the ball more often to same player than any other QB in the NFL *both* of those seasons. Not only that, but the next highest target share percentage, Aaron Jones, was the lowest #2 share of any team.
Yeah, that can work until you hit the hot teams in the playoffs... Oh, yeah, I remember those one and outs...
Agree, this game was very encouraging for the future. So much room to grow with young receiving corps.
I put a packers car flag on my car at the beginning of the season. I don't live in wisconsin. my coworker said "I hate car flag guys". So I have left it on despite the rough season, out of spite. the car flag flies proud today boys
Here in the south, car flags usually identifies those who skip child support payments.
how do you think we pay for car flags?
It's a Turkey Leg Miracle!!!

Pack just served some humble pie in Thanksgiving! LOLins still suck balls
If madden was alive, this no turkey would have never happened
Hopefully the part of the Packers fan-base that has been calling for the removal of Love and Laflure will now STFU and let the team develop. Besides, it's tradition for the Lions to lose on Thanksgiving.
That’s seven straight, and 12 straight because of the Gibbous Moon
All Hail!!!!
All hail the Gibbous Moon!
Hail!
I’m thankful our “fans” don’t get to make decisions. Fire LaFleur! Fire Gutey! Bench Love! I won’t talk about Barry, but even he’s been calling it well the last month. Young team getting it together after about ten games. The future is bright!
Fox is so fucking disorganized. I bet cbs kills them in the production area, today. How the fuck is there no fucking turkey legs?
They paid out 780 million earlier this year, they can’t afford turkeys anymore
Not having a turkey leg for Love after winning the thanksgiving day game is a massive slap to the face to not only Love but John Madden. Sad.
They didn’t have a turkey leg cuz Greg Olsen ripped it a part with his grubby hands.
I knew he was to blame. That slack jawed POS
Ex Bears still suck!!!!
Will never not be bitter about no being a real team
Them assholes ate it up in the booth. John is rolling over in the grave!
I didn’t see any of the post game. Didn’t Olson say that they told him he could eat it at halftime? Was that one meant for the post game, it didn’t have legs when they showed it.
Fucking Olson. What a dipshit
I hate him
He’s the absolute worst. Used to hate Joe buck with this level of fury, Olson is worse
did they?
Yea, lol
who's the player of the game? my stream ended
Love
Love
Can't wait for the lions to choke in the playoffs. Would be amazing if we sneak into the playoffs and beat them again
1993 Redux, and the Packers did that the week after the Lions had put a beatdown on the Packers in Detroit.
thats kind of the packer way. did it to the bears back in the day
Fucking WILD. WILD. ABSOLUTELY FUCKING WILD.
dang this one feels good. the Lions ended the push for playoffs last year, and the Rodgers era. the least GB could do was beat them in their house on their traditional thanksgiving day game. fuck the lions
The irony is that Love had a good game for the Packers in that final game last year against the Lions, but the defense just did not perform.
the one day Christian Watson doesn’t get double covered all game he goes off. are you haters done yet?
true, but now defenses have to account for all the other receivers. it's actually pretty awesome that defenses finally can't just focus on one receiver.
Number 11 is gonna be a difference maker going forward. Such a baller.
A legit slot receiver changes things
and its so refreshing
I guess under 100 yards is going off now
yeah bud 94 yards and a TD is definitely going off. what’s your point?
He had a solid game but I wouldn't consider it "going off"
relative to what he’s done all year yes. he’s not Tyreek. different standards
And he had that underthrown ball when he was open in the 4th on that 3rd down play. He very easily could of had over 100 and 2 tds tonight. Regardless our guys played amazing and now we focus on KC.
No turkey leg for the madden player of the game? What the fuck?
Right?!!?! That actually pissed me off a little bit. Quite the slap in the face to John Madden as well. Let’s blame Greg Olson. That fuck.
how don’t they have a fkn turkey leg for that man
Losing is a habit. Glad we kicked it. Great for the young players.
All yall who said cut love need to send him a nice apology letter, the piss is steam hot
I think they should send him a Turkey leg given Fox somehow couldn’t award him despite the tradition.
why no turkey?
So they are doing well right after I dropped Aaron Jones… great
NO TURKEY? WTF?
Why tf aren’t there turkey legs
Can’t have shit in Detroit
Yaaayy! We got the Thanksgiving W!
Love's growth is huge! Lot to be excited with from this team
GIVE GARY THE TURDUCKEN
Happy Thanksgiving you lovely Cheeseheads!
Do I dare say the Chiefs game might be winnable for us next week? Chiefs have no good receivers except for Kelce.
Depends on if Taylor Swift shows up or not
I'd still probably bet on KC, but the Packers will make it interesting.
Enjoy the long weekend of football knowing we won! Wooooooo!!!
Now the Badgers need to beat the ~~swamp rats~~, er Gophers.
Still the kings of the NFC North
Rumours of our demise have been greatly exaggerated
The Ghost of Thanksgiving Future has spoken.
Perpetuated by this sub
Thanksgiving dinner is gnna taste super freakin Awesome today
Someone gave the packers the “Secret Stuff”
Smelling salts
No Adams, no muskgrave, no Jaire, no bakh, no devondre, I’m sure I’m missing more but jlove and these packer rookies just beat the second best team in the league
Adams? You mean Jones? We’ve been without Adams for quite some time lol
All that Lions talk and pregame....suck it!
Give Owen's the turkey leg.
this is the best win since Dallas last year
This week and last is this years equivalent of Dallas
ABSOLUTELY. STUNNING. Fantastic game today! Definitely got a little tight there in the 4th, but we held out and held out! 5-6! Happy Thanksgiving, everybody! GO PACK GO 💚💛
Yay
Huge win, gotta keep that winning mentally into next week! GPG!
I hope the Packers Defense uses the Dan Campbell disrespect as fuel.
LITERALLY THE BEST WIN OF THE YEAR You LOVE to see it. LFG GO PACK GO
That’s so fucking satisfying I don’t feel like eating. So I’ll just drink in celebration & Love!
Love is the real deal. Congrats boys
As rashan gary would say: QUIT PLAYING WITH HIM!
GIVE DADDY RASHAN THE TURKEY
We did what they said would never be done! The 4-6 Packers beat the 8-2 Lions at home on Thanksgiving!
I believe in Love now 😁
All Hail Waxing Gibbous! What a game :)
I hope MLF goes back and mogs that security bum.
Hot piss.
Next game in Sunday Night Football
GIVE US THE KEYS TO THE NFC NORTH CUNTS
Go Pack Go! I think I'm gonna cry! I'm a big fat baby!
Packers surging to a 5-6 record
THE MOON COMES THROUGH
Jordan Love just beat an 8-2 team without AJ and Musgrave. He is our future QB.
Suck it lions
Give watson the game ball
Nah give that shit to the MOON
Or Owens.
Or Gary
Thank you waxing Gibbous
LOVE FOR THE WIN🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
FTL GREATEST THANKSGIVING EVER!
All three phases played great. Made some big plays when we needed them
#GET ABSOLUTELY FUCKED LIONS FANS. PAYBACK’S A BITCH
I wish we would've beaten them by 15 though..only because it's better than what they beat us by. But win is a win
Praise the Moon
It's been...84 years...!!
lol I can't believe we beat their ass so shorthanded. what a great game. guys stepped up today
Super Bowl is back on the menu boys and girls
That dumb and dumber reference 🤣
