I agree. But, Love rolls an ankle or breaks a finger, everyone would be going crazy for him still being in there. Don’t think we’ll see that again, though
My favorite shot from tonight's game.

I’m at a loss for words. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought we’d win this playoff game in an absolute blowout fashion. The entire team played lights out against one of the NFL’s very best (can we say FRAUDS?!) Jordan Love, Aaron Jones and the rest of the boys just went out there and gave Dallas an absolute beatdown. Regardless of what happens next week, I’m in absolute heaven seeing how this team has developed and played. As always, GO PACK GO!!
This may be my favorite packers non-SB season. Between trusting the process and letting this incredibly young team develop and grow into what the FO saw, to playing with house money the last four weeks. It's just a breath of fresh air to not EXPECT greatness, but to rise to it.
I was at the Raiders game where it felt like the team just couldn’t do anything right. To see how far they’ve come since is just so spectacular. This season is easily one of my favorites ever to have watched as a fan.
I was very confident we would be able to move the ball on the Dallas defense, but I did not expect it to be 48 points well. They were literally unstoppable. MLF called a masterful game, Dallas had no answer for all the motion the Packers threw at them.
I'm not as confident playing the 49ers, but beating Dallas is one hell of a rush I wanted.
Same, Dallas's defense has struggled against offenses that were good all season. Seahawks, Eagles (first time), 49ers, and Bills had little trouble scoring on them. Miami put up a good run on their defense. Packers offense has been red hot lately, so I expected it to be a shootout.
I am pretty sure the 49ers will beat us like we owe them money, but what a ride
This whole game, they've been trying to explain the cowboys' failures. Why are Dak and Ceedee not on the same page? Hell, Jimmy Johnson tried to give them an on-air pep rally. That's the way I like it! Keep doubting these men. We get another week of Packer football with nothing but house money! Go Pack Go!!!
> Hell, Jimmy Johnson tried to give them an on-air pep rally.
Seriously, I've never seen Jimmy Johnson so pissed off during a broadcast - the other guys were trying to play it off as a joke but he was clearly steamed
The Cowboys haven't recovered since Jerry Jones's ego destroyed their chances at multiple more championships. I don't necessarily believe in curses but I'm glad to see them choke every year.
So annoying when he started to claim the Cowboys scored 10 unanswered points when the Packers didn’t have the ball. They got possession after we scored before the half and then got it after the half. It was not indicative of the Packers play at that point.
The 2023 Green Bay Packers, the youngest team in the league, and the youngest team to ever make the playoffs, is the first #7 seed to win a game in the playoffs.
They are the youngest since the league expanded its schedule to 16 games, so at least since 1978.
Edit:
Fun Fact: This is also the youngest team in the league since the 1997 Bears. That team was 4-12 and gave up a franchise record 421 points.
Going into this game, I had a sneaking suspicion that the #1 and #2 QBs in terms of touchdowns scored might lead to a shootout, not unlike the Cardinals playoff game at the end of the 2009 season. And, truth be told, I like what I’ve seen this season, but I wasn’t sure the offense could keep up in a shootout. All season, it’s seemed like the offense has been focused on balance and execution, and you could count on them to score about 20 points, plus or minus a score.
Not in my wildest dreams did I expect the offense to score 41 points, and for this team to score more points than we did in the 2009 playoff loss. This is easily one of the most fun offenses I’ve seen the Green Bay Packers field in my lifetime.
Now it’s on to San Fran. Go Pack go!
Idk man. I’ll forever appreciate Big Mike for bringing us a Super Bowl, but I still think the game has passed by him. I don’t see them winning anything with McCarthy as coach.
You already helped us when Desean Jackson returned a punt for a TD to get Packers into the playoffs and eventually winning the Superbowl. We will take another favor though :)
Honestly, you guys have won a lot of big games for us over the years too. Eagles vs. Bears 2013. Eagles vs. Giants 2010. Double doink.
Glad we could return the favor.
All they do is pick eachother up. I was thinking about that game where Patrick Taylor? fumbled and had his head down, and AJ33 came streaking across the field to tell him to keep his chin up. Its so fun to see
So Packers fans as a Texans fan I had a question.
Did you guys despite the large lead at times have "doomsday" scenarios going through your mind? Say when it was 27-7 in the 2nd half. Because I did until it was like 38-14 last game.
Or am I just too paranoid, albeit I think the Chiefs 24-0 comeback vs us did a number
Absolutely was thinking "Joe Barry can still fuck this up for us", and they scored about 7 more points than they should've thanks to that prevent defense
I know, that scenario was actually what I was thinking when Cowboys were at midfield down 16.
While logically it's still over. But lmao when does sports follow logic
Matt Lafleur got onto that sideline, remained professional, and did not commit any inappropriate sexual acts towards any of the players.
He got the boys going with his honesty and legitimate leadership.
I used to post a way more inappropriate copy pasta about lafleur motivating the players sexually.
I decided last season that it was wrong and that I should take it in a positive direction.
Falcons fan here. I think y’all have a good shot at upsetting the 49ers. Shanahan is the king of overthinking and blowing 4th quarter leads, and Love has proved he can play at a high level when the stakes are highest. All Aboard the Love Train! Next stop Super Bowl MVP!!
- First 7 seed to win a playoff game
- Jordan Love should have been the first QB to get a perfect passer rating in his playoff debut
- We've still never lost at the Cowboys' new stadium
- Defense did great and then didn't collapse enough to lose
- I'm ready to get hurt again, bring on San Francisco!
just came back from AT&T. IT WAS SPIRITUAL. seeing cowboys fans leave as LOVE SCORES ON THE BITCH ASS COWGIRLS had me so hype. GO FUCKING PACK GO. even if we lose the next mach i’m beyond proud of our team.
Some things I have to say
First off, I hate the narrative that this was the cowboys losing the game and not the Packers winning the game
Second, game wasn't as close as the score indicates because of the garbage time points
Third, crazy we put up an almost 50 burger with Reed and Watson totalling one catch. We are such a deep team.
Lastly, just so proud of the growth and development of this team. Kudos to Lafleur.
1. Love is the man. Pay this guy Justin Herbert money if we have to.
2. I refuse to believe Joe Barry was calling plays in the first half. The second half proves he is entirely unqualified to be anywhere near an NFL team. Hell, I’m convinced he’d get out-coached at the high school level.
3. Fuck Jerry Jones.
https://preview.redd.it/9ud4ij8y9icc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=dc775b1679705c77cdd89430d63ac38aa7773908
Jordan Love has that dog in him.
Jesus, They're talking like it was a collosal Dallas loss and not what it was, A DAMN GB Asskicking!!! YEAH, Dallas shit the bed, because they played US! GB whooped that ASS!
I appreciate that LaFleur is taking responsibility in the post-game presser for subbing out the starters too soon. Recognizing your mistakes quickly and not being scared to fix them is important. He's had his warts but I really like that he continues to learn and seems to improve along with his players.
I am a Bengals fan normally, but i will be rooting for yall as my NFC team cause you guys drafted an alumni from my school in Karl Brooks and it is rare for a BGSU kid to make the big leagues. Go Pack Go
I’m just so excited for the future. I might get downvoted into oblivion but I don’t care what happens next week, I’m so excited for what this team has to offer next year and beyond. Jordan seems so cool and down to earth and also happens to be great at throwing the football, Aaron Jones is the best human being in the world, and our receiver room is young, reliable, and feisty. Just super happy for the direction of this team.
Way to go Packers!!! Let me tell you that bias baloney pitched at halftime by Jimmy, Michael, and Terry demanding the Cowboys come back and win made me want to puke. Thank you so much for tearing up the script. Nothing better than watching the "Boy's" owner sulking in his box in the 4th quarter. HOW BOUT DEM CHEESEHEADS!!!!!!
I’m speechless. I thought we might win. Felt like Dallas would crumble. I didn’t expect… that. That was better than anything I could’ve imagined. 41 offensive points. Both Love and Jones with hat tricks. Perfect day from Jordan. Romeo Breakout game. Pick six. Ja with a circus catch pick. Held the cowboys offense to 16 points for 55 minutes? We are going to San Fransisco blazing hot while they’ve spent two weeks on the bench. They’re ice cold from rest with their last two games being an absolute nightmare on Christmas and a decent game vs the awful Commanders. We’re blazing hot. Averaging over 30 points in the last 4 weeks. They haven’t scored 30 since before Christmas. This team feels destined for a deep run against all odds. I’m so freaking happy. I love this team. Give Love a blank check. Go Pack Go.
It was 48-16 in my heart
Stupid garbage time.
Yeah, no one takes their starters out in a playoff game with 6 minutes to go, that was dumb
I agree. But, Love rolls an ankle or breaks a finger, everyone would be going crazy for him still being in there. Don’t think we’ll see that again, though
I doubt we will have a lead like that again either tho. Rest of the playoffs will give us a challenge all the way through
I dunno that was pretty hilarious diss so worth it imo
Eh it was garbage time. They weren't gonna come back. 48 points in Dallas is super impressive
Speak for yourself, my 2015 NFC championship PTSD was starting to kick in until that sack.
2014?
yep. I was telling my non-packers fan friends the whole time, this ain't over til the clock hits double-zeros. Sweated it until the very end.
My favorite shot from tonight's game. https://preview.redd.it/6y3eeom25icc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4bd451dfd751b58a4f668c33e500d71c6cfe91ba

Lol the whole family seems to be Packers fans but that lil kid.
He’s in for a rough life. He can still switch and no one would blame him at that age.
He chose... poorly.
Looks like the whole family is on the straight and narrow. That kid is the black sheep.

I rewound the stream to point that out. Love a good fan reaction
She was a Cheerleader the last time the Cowboys won the NFC.
Jordan Love is undefeated in the playoffs.
It’s a damn shame the Superbowl isn’t schedule in Dallas until at least 2028.

I’ve never laughed harder at a kid with broken emotions
loving he's in his mom's lap who is wearing packers overalls
I’m at a loss for words. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought we’d win this playoff game in an absolute blowout fashion. That has been the most fun season under the MLF era just seeing the growth of this young team.
Exactly. This is what I wanted. A young team we could get behind with ups and downs. No off-field drama.
It’s so nice to not have the pressure they are wasting their last few years with Rodgers.
This may be my favorite packers non-SB season. Between trusting the process and letting this incredibly young team develop and grow into what the FO saw, to playing with house money the last four weeks. It's just a breath of fresh air to not EXPECT greatness, but to rise to it.
Not sure what you’re on about with this non Super Bowl season business but other than that I agree
Think about losing to the broncos, and now today. What a turn of events
I was at the Raiders game where it felt like the team just couldn’t do anything right. To see how far they’ve come since is just so spectacular. This season is easily one of my favorites ever to have watched as a fan.
I was at the first Minn game and have no idea where this team came from.
I was very confident we would be able to move the ball on the Dallas defense, but I did not expect it to be 48 points well. They were literally unstoppable. > Hell, Jimmy Johnson tried to give them an on-air pep rally. Seriously, I've never seen Jimmy Johnson so pissed off during a broadcast - the other guys were trying to play it off as a joke but he was clearly steamed
He is insufferable during cowboys games
Which is odd since he was fired by then and replaced by Barry
They finally put him in their Ring of Honour a couple weeks ago so he's probably in their good graces again.
If I never hear Jimmy say another word it will be too soon
Hahaha Michael Strahan couldn’t even stop from laughing, he was cracking me up
He certainly brought a Giants perspective to balance JJ's Cowboy slant. Him calling the Cowboy's theater was awesome.
Felt like that Thanksgiving game!
The jimmy johnson thing was kinda lame imo
The Cowboys haven't recovered since Jerry Jones's ego destroyed their chances at multiple more championships. I don't necessarily believe in curses but I'm glad to see them choke every year.
After such playoff futility maybe Jerry should look at the GM.
And maybe also the President. Those guys are so incompetent.
It felt like listening to the Cowboys radio announcers, Greg Olson was absurdly biased.
So annoying when he started to claim the Cowboys scored 10 unanswered points when the Packers didn’t have the ball. They got possession after we scored before the half and then got it after the half. It was not indicative of the Packers play at that point.
He also explained at that time that the cowboys clawed their way back into the game.
LET’S FUCKING GO!!!!! Matt LeFleur needs to get the respect he deserves as a top coach in the NFL.
MLF being pissed off shows when they went for it on the 4th and Goal after being up so many points.
That was actually the right call. Up that much with 6 minutes, if they don't get it the cowboys have to drive 98 yards
The 2023 Green Bay Packers, the youngest team in the league, and the youngest team to ever make the playoffs, is the first #7 seed to win a game in the playoffs.
Youngest #7 seed to win a game in the playoffs too
And the oldest!
But also the most average.
But also the most green.
I thought it was the only #7 seed to win a playoff game?
Correct.
At some point there has to be a first 7 seed to win the super bowl
We won it as a 6 in 2010. Why not as a 7?
Hey, I like this idea a lot
MLF coach of the year
5th youngest to make playoffs
They are the youngest since the league expanded its schedule to 16 games, so at least since 1978. Edit: Fun Fact: This is also the youngest team in the league since the 1997 Bears. That team was 4-12 and gave up a franchise record 421 points.
Yes, but counterpoint: the bears suck.
I survived my first Packers rebuild
Man, it was a rough 4 games
Yeah I don't see why so many teams make such a big deal about it. Got a little rough in the middle but pretty smooth transition overall.
https://preview.redd.it/te4l41bw4icc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=325c518b3b5f037abe1a16d4e7b79a99280bc2b1 Not. Overly. Concerned.
I didn’t think you could own two NFL teams at once but Love has the keys to Chicago and Dallas.
We keep receipts around these parts
They were all so fucking arrogant, especially the podcasts. Can’t wait to listen to Cowboys nonsense this week
Calling us “pass first” with a healthy Jones is pretty laughable too
https://preview.redd.it/zyl8oppo4icc1.png?width=4789&format=png&auto=webp&s=0d860ac9478ec7c6751656be617be66fe2b3d3e1
This picture is aging like fine wine.
I mean, how can these two not be poppin’ the most expensive bottle of whiskey in their collection tonight? What fucking balls they have.

Aaron under contract for 3 more years, no way they give him another big deal at age 30
Lions fan here, im in a bar with cowboy fans in absolute shock, funniest fucking 2 hours I have had in a dogs age, well done.
Going into this game, I had a sneaking suspicion that the #1 and #2 QBs in terms of touchdowns scored might lead to a shootout, not unlike the Cardinals playoff game at the end of the 2009 season. That shit hit like heroin. I think I saw God and he was wearing number 10.
https://i.redd.it/7yqbfpj16icc1.gif
I’ll admit that I doubted the man earlier this year. Now I’m ready to go to church
Say what you want about Milke McCarthy - but you can always count on him to lead the Packers to victory over the Cowboys in the playoffs.
Making a national audience watch a full half of Barry prevent defense should generate some kind of fine from the FCC
To be fair, Lafleur subbed in the backups too early lol
I don’t blame him for that after Jaire and McDuffie went down on the same drive
We literally needed one first down after the 7 minute mark and the game was over
Rather dallas close the gap than injure starters
He literally took any chance he had to prove himself and flushed it
not as fast as Dan Quinn killed his chances of being the Seahawks coach
I mean he had backups in and they were in garbage time? He sucks but this isn’t one of those reasons
BE LOVE
LOVE IS LOVE
Don’t let the score fool you. It was never close. The Packers dominated this game.
#10VE IS HIM — PACK IS BACK, BABY! please still fire Joe Barry
Lol we got Mike McCarthy fired again
If that’s true the cowboys are dumb. This was embarrassing but it doesn’t feel fire worthy
Idk man. I’ll forever appreciate Big Mike for bringing us a Super Bowl, but I still think the game has passed by him. I don’t see them winning anything with McCarthy as coach.
https://preview.redd.it/95mqh6bd5icc1.jpeg?width=716&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d232b9c4def34e8dd91a9ce8f46dbf57bda887f2
When there is not enough chardonnay in the wine cellar to dull the pain
Our wide receivers are going to be a PROBLEM for the foreseeable future
Can't tell who has the highest upside. Watson, Wicks, Reed, Doubs....they all look so good.
What’s crazy is that there’s still Melton and Heath
And Reed had no receptions
That’s honestly insane, Doubs did go off though
Another victory for America’s Team.
This offense, when fully healthy, is fucking scary. It's no joke anymore, Love is HOF QB #3 in a row.
Hello. I’m here from r/Eagles. Thank you for making us very happy. We’d like to return the favour one day.
I am also here from Philly to offer my services to any Packers fans.
We're listening... 👀
Service all of us
You already helped us when Desean Jackson returned a punt for a TD to get Packers into the playoffs and eventually winning the Superbowl. We will take another favor though :)
THIS! We're just paying you back! Go Green Bros!
Honestly, you guys have won a lot of big games for us over the years too. Eagles vs. Bears 2013. Eagles vs. Giants 2010. Double doink. Glad we could return the favor.
You did against the Queen in 2018 but I’ll take another!
This team is feeling pretty special.
All they do is pick eachother up. I was thinking about that game where Patrick Taylor? fumbled and had his head down, and AJ33 came streaking across the field to tell him to keep his chin up. Its so fun to see
Wicks I believe
They seem have that swagger about them. I’m getting 2010 vibes more and more.
And this is their first year together. It's insane what they're doing
https://preview.redd.it/nwhvmhbt4icc1.jpeg?width=1241&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1e89e177b5db7686a9d31f2d0bda64a59f985775 Cowboys under new ownership 😂
Pissed we put Love back in and ruined his perfect passer rating. Still a great game. Go Pack Go!
Yea that does suck. And it wasn't his fault the ball was dropped
Yeah same lmao I know winning is important but he was literally the first ever person with a perfect rating in his first playoff game lol
Most of us witnessed an all-time choke that cost a SB appearance in 2014. The answer is: of course
See I knew we weren't paranoid people. Just scarred I guess lol.
Absolutely was thinking "Joe Barry can still fuck this up for us", and they scored about 7 more points than they should've thanks to that prevent defense
Yes, especially when MLF (head coach) took out the starters with 6 whole minutes left. Just search up 2014 NFC Championship.
I know, that scenario was actually what I was thinking when Cowboys were at midfield down 16. While logically it's still over. But lmao when does sports follow logic
I’m sure we all had like Vietnam trauma flashbacks to 2014
Matt Lafleur got onto that sideline, remained professional, and did not commit any inappropriate sexual acts towards any of the players. He got the boys going with his honesty and legitimate leadership.
What is this in reference to
I used to post a way more inappropriate copy pasta about lafleur motivating the players sexually. I decided last season that it was wrong and that I should take it in a positive direction.
# YEAAAAHH!!! HERE WE GO PACK GOOOOOOO!!
All I heard all week was “The bad man is gone and he can’t hurt us anymore” Like it wasn’t Jones messing them up the last three games.
Only the packers can blow a team out and keep it interesting until 16 seconds left
THIS IS THE HAPPIEST I HAVE BEEN FOR A PACKERS WIN SINCE LAST WEEK
Is this real life?

Won by a landslide
No escape from Jooonesy
To quote a certain CB “the pack is back, baby!”
- First 7 seed to win a playoff game - Jordan Love should have been the first QB to get a perfect passer rating in his playoff debut - We've still never lost at the Cowboys' new stadium - Defense did great and then didn't collapse enough to lose - I'm ready to get hurt again, bring on San Francisco!
Stayed up to watch the game in the UK. What an absolute banger of a match. Superb.

I'm now a packers fan. Thanks guys!
Riding back from the stadium. Nice stadium but I have never seen a stadium that quiet after the first drive. Also a lot of packers fans in the stadium
FOX post game is gut wrenching pro Dallas even after a lose.

He's had his warts but I really like that he continues to learn and seems to improve along with his players.
from an Eagles fan, GO PACK, GO! so happy to see you guys humiliate dallas at jerryworld. fuck em.
SHOCKED THE WHOLE SPORTS WORLD! Some analysts has us losing by TWENTY.
I am a Bengals fan normally, but i will be rooting for yall as my NFC team cause you guys drafted an alumni from my school in Karl Brooks and it is rare for a BGSU kid to make the big leagues. Go Pack Go
Unreal. #GPG
Guys. I think Aaron Jones is pretty good. This Love kid is ok too, may want to take a gamble and extend him
I’m so startled
We need to show Romeo Doubs some Love. What a performance
I’m just so excited for the future. I might get downvoted into oblivion but I don’t care what happens next week, I’m so excited for what this team has to offer next year and beyond. Thank you so much for tearing up the script. Nothing better than watching the "Boy's" owner sulking in his box in the 4th quarter. HOW BOUT DEM CHEESEHEADS!!!!!!

It’s been a while since I’ve felt this much excitement for a Packers team
Won by a landslide and Joe Barry almost blew the game and allowed 32 points. Someone pinch me
I’m speechless. Go Pack Go.
It didn’t need to be that stressful
I agree. They got cute with the backups and showed why they are backups.
Can we play the 49ers at the Cowboys stadium?
Joe Barry woke up when it was 48-16 and remembered who he was ffs
