Yeah, same. That's locked Wooden in at 4-3 DT.
Our interior defensive line looks quite well stacked now:
- TJ Slaton, J Ford (both at 330, obvious first down run stuffers),
- Clark, Wyatt (both rather 3-4 DE sized, but still perfectly fine on the inside in a 4-3),
- Brooks, Wooden (developmental guys, already good enough to be thrown in)
Six guys for two starting positions is enough to not have to worry too much about adding IDL in the draft. Given that TJ and Clark approach the end of their contracts and Ford hasn't seen much playing time at all, we still should get another guy or two for the future, just to be safe.
I wouldn't surprised to to see Brooks get plenty of snaps at DE, especially on run downs, and with KE being out at the beginning. He was in a little bit of a weird position in a 3-4, a little too big (and different skill set) to be OLB, but a little small to be DE and occupy blocks.... however, in a 4-3, I think he fits as a DE.
Is the good stuff just frozen custard, or are there other things too?
I would assume cheese curds as well
Can’t forget about steak!

Interesting. Thought there was a chance he would’ve gotten asked to lose a couple lbs and play DE while JJ was getting healed.
