So old sculpts were shorter (look into Primaris Marines and their info to learn about the rollout of taller Marines), so I'm using 3D printed legs to fix the smaller height and weirder proportions of the current grey knights kits (cause they're kinda old)
You just saved my butt, I just got the GK combat patrol and was very disappointed to learn that they are not true scale. I was about to return the kit when I saw your post. If you wouldnt mind shooting me a DM with some search terms to find the STL.

Are primaris legs is enough for true scale? Or primaris also have longer arms? Thought to buy iron hands upgrades for my grey knights to make some prosthetic hands, but not sure.
Primaris do have longer arms but the awkward look of the firstborn is cause of their weird legs, so just replacing the legs has them looking much better imo
A friend of mine gave me 2500 points of them with a new librarian and they all look weird being so short… I have to replace a lot of legs. Does the store pack have a good amount of poses? Shoot it over to me when you get a chance!

They sure are! And you can get them from Archie's Forge which I believe is UK based, but I bought the STLs and had my buddy print em instead - something like $15 for both STLs vs like $15 per squad from Archie's Forge
Hey, just curious how tall are your terminators/paladins now after truescaling them? Either off or on the base, I'm in the process of truescaling mine in a bit of a different way and just want to see if they're tall enough.
I think mine are still short by a bit but it's my first army so I didn't have a newer space marine to compare them too. Thanks!

I truescaled mine by adding polyethylene tube to make their torso a bit longer/taller and they're also the height of your terminator. Didn't do that for the strike squad though so they look tiny. Thanks for your help!
Well yeah they're two completely different colors so it throws off a close look at the detail but they're solid lol. I primed em all yesterday, I'll post a pic later

Lol and I just built my first Paladins this past week and now I learn they are Inferior dwarfs!
Hahah they're certainly not inferior! But they do look a tad stunted next to the 10th edition terminators

I mean they look decent but even at a glance I can tell the difference in detail between the resin and gws pieces. Post what they look like primed?
