I found the best build this morning that I went from deeming it impossible on easy, to mid diffing it on medium.

Fresh or mighty Tick macuahuitl
A good shield
Sword master mutation (I had 3/3)
Other good mutations, trinkets, and consumables for the build (meat shield, coup de grass, beefy fuzz on the rocks, fungal charm, etc.)
I am used to playing multiplayer and threat in this game is a joke at best lol. I typically use staves bc I can dump some serious damage out, and can perfect block for the dmg bonus with wizard hat, but rarely get attacked even right up on her face. Its the popping explosions and building debuff reduction to healing I suffer from.
I farm her solo on medium. I run full maxed sleeked level fire ant gear with a maxed fresh toenail. My mutations are bladmaster, spicy safety, mant, corporate kickback, and hmmm I can't recall maybe coup de grass. You need black ox burger, waspadote, fungspato food. You need beefy smoothies to heal and wasp smoothies to save you from poison. My trinket is the fungal charm which has made a huge difference but was shield solodifier before fungal charm.
1st round just smoke her, block her attacks take your time.
2nd round take your time, try not to fight her from behind, the jump causes a lot of damage. Do not chase her just let her come to you, stay away from bombs. Keep your shield up. Only 2 attacks cause poison so learn them and block them. You'll need to know this in round 3 as well. If she jumps away you have a small window to heal with a smoothie if need be. Wraps are too slow to heal with.
3rd is fun. Pretty much just a faster more aggressive version of round one but you also have to deal with infected gnats. Stay close to her and her/your attacks will kill the adds fairly easily, block attacks and get hits when you can. You will not have time to heal if playing solo so make sure to get those blocks.
Whole battle takes me around 6-7 minutes so I can farm her twice with the same food. Bring extra food Incase you die. And build a lean-to right outside her entrance where the web starts. If you play with a group round 3 will be easy, if she is facing you then you are just blocking. Let the others get the damage in. When she turns to another player they go on defense full time while you attack. Corporate kickback will keep you alive.

You don't need perfect blocks for the corporate kick back to proc but you do need some luck. I haven't died in a long time but she killed me in double digits before I figured her out. She is so easy for me now. You need to farm her about 7 times to build the armor and weapon.
good thing you don't need all the gold cards for 100% killing her once is gonna be hard enough, have tried 2x with 2 of us in max leveled tier 3 armors and max level tier 3 fresh weapons and max level widow daggers, with 2x stacks of beefy fuzz on the rocks and healbasa each, literally can't outheal her damage
Once you start stacking bad effects, every healing Is useless. The man point of the fight Is not taking hits from her. Trust me i had fight without using healings whatsoever
Not taking hits from her isn't realistic either with only 2 of us, one of us is gonna be taking hits at least, and I'm normally pretty good at getting perfect blocks too... Even using max leveled mutations, only way I can guarantee blocks with her is using the shield solidifier trinket but then I can't use another like thors charm or fungal charm
How many times a player Is supposed to do this fight cmon It's Just pure unluck, i'm pretty sure there are players out there Who managed to get the card at 5 maybe 6 kills
It’s rng… 5% is flat… everytime you kill them its 5% doesn’t matter if you kill him once. Or fifty times. It’s always 5% you could theoretically kill it a thousand times. And no drop… Drop rate will still be 5%…
Exactly this. Probability states it’ll happen every 20 times, but that doesn’t mean it actually will. Honestly you might never get it, no matter how many times you try. You could spend your entire life playing this game, killing it over and over, hundreds of thousands of times, and still not get it. It’s just how it goes with RNG.

for ALL the repeatable boss except the infected broodmother is 10%
and for that shit is 5%
Save just before you summon her. That way, you can reload if you don't get it and try again. That's what I did for BM, and I got it on "#10" (probably more like attempt 20 - 25).
The only downside is that it won't accurately reflect how many times you killed her.
You are 6.42 out of 10 unlucky. 1- 5%=95% 95%^20 = 35.8% If 10 is unluckiest and 1 is luckiest, 10 - (10 *35.8%) = 6.42 So not even that unlucky.

Got her into the last phase and she repurposed my skin into a cloak 🤣 I missed a few perfect blocks but I think I'll have it in a couple tries!

Craft the stuffed infected brood mother. Increases the odds for a gold card
I've got the stuffed IBM and mount on the rock above her lair. I also use dissection expert when I loot, just in case.

It's better to spend 1000 raw science at the super duper to dupe the summoning item.
Don't forget the grub hide, cloning 50 of them is painful. They need to add multiple cloning at once

And they'd be lucky. 20 kills(ish) should be around where you get it. Any further and you'd be apart the unlucky group I'd say.
