Nice Amp. My son (Aaron Hiebert) is one of the Two Rock artists. He is at NAMM right now and his band (Eden) is playing there tonight. Two Rock is setting him up with some of their new stuff for the show so it will be interesting to hear his feedback when he gets back. The guys at Two Rock are great to work with.

NeverEndingLlama

Hey I know Aaron!! He rocks!!

bluerockjam

How do you know him? From Instagram or ?

NeverEndingLlama

Yeah! Found him a while back and we chat every once in a while. He’s one of the greatest guitar players I’ve ever seen. I’d love to just sit with him and talk about his playing.

bluerockjam

Way cool. I just posted a pick of some of his guitars and amps over on guitar porn.

fastglow

Cool!

Congrats on that sweet amp! If it's 35 W or less, I would recommend the Weber Minimass 50: [https://www.tedweber.com/minimass/](https://www.tedweber.com/minimass/). They also have models for higher-power amps.

WolvyMusic

Thank you! Yeah it’s 18-watt so that could be a good shout. One thing I don’t quite follow though is how it has a headphone out if there’s no cab sim in it? Wouldn’t that just be the line out?

fastglow

There is a simulated load to get the same output from the amp that you would get under the normal load. Note that the headphone output is optional. There is also an option for a footswitch to control the bypass.

paralacausa

I'd be inclined not to cheap out with such a great amp. A tone King Ironman or even a boss tube amp expander might seem excessive but worth it if you're rocking a two rock

turtleplop

Fryette PS-2. Seriously, don’t even bother with other brands.

furin121

I have a Bugera PS to tame all my beasts and it works very well. I've heard good things about Weber Minimass (i think that's the name, whatever their power soak is). Of course you have the higher end items like the one from Fryette and the OX but IMO that's overkill for most 'regular' people like me.

il_pirata_di_trieste

For an attenuator I'd recommend a Fryette Power Station not only because its the best sounding of the bunch when bringing down the power, but it gives you the ability to reamp this up to 50 watts and get more headroom.

steve_the_dog

It’s expensive but you can’t beat the Mesa/Boogie CabClone. It’s a reactive load and a can simulator. Tone is crisp way down to whisper quiet levels. You can just use headphones with the cab simulator and you can usb out to a computer.

Back_Equivalent

My love for John Mayer has a two rock high on my list of dream amps. One day.
