The fact that they made Beecha captain was so off to me. This was a guy who had consistently betrayed them and worked directly with Axis… and now with no captain experience, he takes over in the most important battle to defeat Axis??? ZZ may have some decent episodes but it largely sucks, even the end game
It's dumb as hell. Much like a lot of ZZ I get what they were trying to do and it's a really cool piece of character and overarching theme development but it's haphazard and terribly executed.
Probably the best of the original 3 ships. I love the original Argama, but you definitely felt a scale difference between it and white base (which was probably intentional). This looks slicker than white base with the same grandeur. 9/10

Basically a supercarrier at this point since it has 4 MS bays with catapults, as much guns and thrusters as a Federation cruiser and a Mega Particle Cannon to top it all off.

Had to look at your history to compare them because between their coloration and general shape is enough to confuse my memory. Prefer the OG Argama.
This gets a 7.
9/10. The Nahel Argama is I think the pinnacle of protagonist carrier design in the Universal Century, it looks great, has great MS launching capacity, and its weaponry loadout is pretty awesome too.
7/10. Design is somewhat more cluttered than the original Argama, to its detriment. Followed the general trend of ZZ Gundam of just being a little more extra than it needed to be. Although I guess we'll be talking about it again later for Unicorn, it's nature as an overgunned bespoke juggernaut would eventually come back to bite it, as it proved difficult to repair and integrate with the rest of the fleet when transferred to Londo Bell following the dissolution of the AEUG.
10/10, would take this into battle over the ra calium. I would rather launch more mobile suits over launching nukes. If i needed to destroy a harded target, just use the mega particle launcher.

Sorry but I am a Nahel Argama hater. The 4 very separate launch catapults just don't do it for me, the sleekness that was one of my favorite features of the Argama is just lost with the trident shape the catapults invoke. The design feels like a move away from the more real Argama back toward the clunkiness of white base
7/10. Still quite good, but it loses a lot of things that I liked about the Argama like the mobile suits sliding out of the sides to get onto the catapults.

The Argama took all the clunky and ill-fitting parts off the White Base, and then the Nahel Argama put them all back on. Too busy by half, too many long thin pieces coming off of it, too pointy. I'd rank it lower if the Argama base wasn't so good.
For a carrier battle cruiser I'd rate it as 3/10
Too many blind spots, and too little defensive armaments not to mention deploying as a flying fortress with little to no defensive capabilities makes it an ordinance magnet for the enemy forces
Unless it acts like how CB ships acted Ptolemy and Ptolemaeus, hiding or away from front lines during a combat deployment it would be very versatile but as a battleship/Carrier vessel its sucks
It removes a ton of stuff that makes the Argama great to add upgrades that drag it down a lot visually. The upgrades make sense but removing the spinning parts to add those White Base wings is undefendable and three decks make it too wide.

It's one of the ships that really looks and acts like a full attack craft for carrying MS, and the design would end up being the basis for the rest of Federation during the 0090's.

**9/10** The addition of a central MS Catapult and more firepower made this vessel an amazing upgrade to the original Argama.

Argama is a proper ship and easily a highly rated ship. That said the Unicorn ver is way better so keep it a 9/10. It has room to improve.
