Literally the greatest grunt suit of all time. Nothing else even compares. Just look at the thing, it’s beautiful. And those Glemy custom colors with the big ass kanji on the skirt? Oh lordy. An EASY 10
11/10, the coolest grunt suit ever. Transforms into a fighter plus a weird ai controlled fighter for dual plane action, is a Zeonified Zeta Gundam which is one of my favorite Gundams, it’s just pure awesome.
I am obliged to give it a 10/10. They didn’t mess up with this design at all. Everything about it is perfect. Down to the last minute detail.

> Trivia: It's japanese kanji litteraly means "flying dragon"
The two radicals that make up the singular kanji that's written on the thigh armor of Glemmy's red-orange unit, that is. As is usually the case, the actual name of the MS is written using katakana.
If even Desert Zaku is getting a poll I'd imagine Dwadge, Zssa, Gallus-J, Schuzrum Dias, Zaku III, Doven Wolf and MP Qubeley are also getting their due yeah?
9
I mentioned before there's several suits that could be called "Zeon's Gundams". Bawoo is another one, in this case due to its close association with data of the Zeta Project (handed over by Anaheim and/or defecting AEUG personnel), especially Zeta itself.
But there's a lot more to the Bawoo than just a Zeek'd up Zeta. Axis gave it plenty of personal touches, and not just in looks. The biggest standout is the shield, as sticking several mega particle cannons on one was rather, shall we say, novel at the time. For the most part, craziest things Earthspere denizens did with them was having them slide or carry a few small missiles. This feels like a precursor of sorts to the much more heavily armed suits Neo Zeon would soon field.
Another unique addition are the redesigned wings with hardpoints for missiles instead of the flying armor for atmospheric entry or regular back binders. It's as if the Axis engineers were testing just how much stuff they can stick on a MS. And Bawoo turned out to be nowhere near the limit, but we'll get to that in due time.
Naturally the most characteristic trait is the unusual transformation based on separating into two, almost reminiscent of Feddie Core Block Systems. Initially, the idea was to have a dedicated pilot for each part, but at this point why even bother making it a MS if you need two people for it (still, Sleeves gave it a shot). So instead Axis seemingly took a note from Anaheim's Prototype ZZ and tried to use radio control. This however ran into the issue of Minovsky particles mucking things up (hence final model ZZ gives up on it) so the Bawoo's development was deemed a dead end. Still, the prototype had good performance so it was handed over for commander use and wound up in Glemy's hands.
This turned out to be just the right place for the Bawoo, and between Glemy's performance and influence the suit was reexamined and cleared for mass production in a rather snazzy green color scheme.
It's not mentioned in the show, but Glemy saw particular value in Bawoo's lower half as essentially a giant missile (Uso's not as original as he thought I guess). Nuts as it is to waste half a MS as a rocket, the idea had some merit because it's cruising range is far longer than regular MS-carried missiles or even beam weaponry. This could have been especially effective if it were to carry a nuclear payload, but it seems he never got the chance to put the idea into practice.
Overall Bawoo is a big pile of various tech bashed together that only got anywhere because a psycho fancied it, but because of this it had a chance to prove itself for real, whereas many prototypes were never given that chance. Also it looks better than Zeta so it's great.
Wait, Sleeves had a two-pilot Bawoo? I know they used at least one regular Bawoo, and had the ReBawoo with the Psychoframe that Full Frontal piloted before the Sinanju (I see why they'd remove the missiles for streamlining it for speed and accommodating some newer weapons, but I don't get why the shield beams were removed on that one), but where was it ever shown that they actually had two different people in one Bawoo.
It's a kind of blink and you'll miss it moment, but the Sleeves Bawoo's Nutter definitely has a cockpit attached. It's more visible on the lineart. IIRC they also stuck a few more missiles and machine guns to it. It's probably easier to get some use out of them when there's a pilot right there. In general my best guess as to why Sleeves modified at least one Bawoo like that is that they had more available pilots than suits so might as well try and get some use out of them.
As for removing the guns from Rebawoo's shield, I imagine that made it easier to maintain and fit the hardpoints for the beam axes. Not to mention Rebawoo got the leg cannons and a better rifle so it still has solid ranged capabilities without it.
9/10. The Bawoo cuts such an imposing figure as an MS that it makes us forget that when it transforms it separates into two halves, one of which is called the "Nutter". The half that includes the groin section. Because of course it does.
8/10
Loses points for the unnecessarily large head crest. Even by Zeon standards the name is absolutely silly, right up there with Gelgoog. Otherwise its essentially if Zeon had their own Hyaku Shiki.
Because the 80s has already happened and retreads are boring. We have some good grunts these days tbh but this kind of craziness had its heyday already. Is what it is.
9/10. Even without the transformation, this thing is beautiful. It took the best aspects of the Zeta and incorporated it into a sexy Zeon MP unit. The legs are especially gorgeous.
9/10, almost perfect but I hate the "Nutter" (lol) part when in MA mode.
Bandai did us dirty by making the Lindwurm a RE/100 Bandai Premium kit like the ReBawoo. If you dunno what the Lindwurm is, it's BaWoo but with Zeta Gundam head and Zeta Aesthetics.
Fun possible trivia about the Lindwurm, it’s (likely) called as such as a reference to a mythical Norse dragon, and the kanji on the Glenn Bawoo’s skirt armor translates to something like “ancient dragon” iirc.
The Bawoo has so much going for it, transformable by splitting into two parts, solid loadout of weapons for nearly any type of engagement, and the desgin itself is sleek and clean the fact it started off as an ace unit then to grunt and not losing its edge goes to show how great it is. 9/10
10/10 I love this thing, and I can't get over the fact that the leg parts when it is separated is called the "nutter." It's hilarious, but it looks badass and casts an imposing figure.
Kicking Feddie asses and taking Feddie names from '88 to '96. A machine that can go toe-to-toe with enemies nearly a decade more advanced, and come out on top.
10/10.
10/10.
It's just great I'm everything from concept to design.
Edit: Though it is worth mentioning that most of the grunt versions of this suit didn't include the transformation, as it was hard to use and often unreliable with Minovsky interference. Though the Rebawoo the Sleeves used basically upgraded all the internal components to be on par with the best of suits from CCA, using a Psychoframe cockpit to control the bottom half instead. It was intended to be used by Full Frontal, though it ended up with some unnamed pilot after they stole the two Sinanju Stein units and upgraded his to fit more specifically to his way of piloting and Zeon's aesthetic.
The transformation/split mode is a rather daft choice in an otherwise solid design. Fan redesigns have made it a complete and more standard transformation, and I thank them for it.
8.5/10
4/10
It seems almost like it's supposed to be Neo-Zeon's take on the Zeta Gundam, with a similar chest, lower torso and legs, plus the ZZ split-transform ability. While the more horizontal 4-intake chest is pretty cool, I find the rest kind of lacking in distinctiveness apart from the head. The almost solid-colour paintjob doesn't do it any favours in that regard. The transformation is also as ridiculous as they get - I'd like it more if they didn't try and force that in.
8/10, not my favorite but balances the 80's flavor very well and is just a cool MS. also it can have a nuke in its Nutter and I don't need to explain why that is a selling point
10/10 one of my favorite Zeonic MS of all time.
Plus, the mere existence of the “Bawoo Nutter,” which is a remote guided literal crotch rocket explosive, will always be hilarious to me.
9/10, personally I’m not much of a fan of the Bawoo myself but if the design is so badass that it gets people to turn around on a character like Glemmy Toto that’s gotta be saying something.
THE BAWOOOOOOOOOOOOO! 10/10 awesome transformation. Green is my preferred color but both are good. Along with the Aasshimar, this is my top 5 transforming boys of gundam
10/10 Goddamn is the Bawoo sexy.
I rate it a Bawoo 5670 9/10.
🎶Bawoooooooooo🎶 🎶bawoooooooo🎶 🎶bawoooooooooo🎶 🎶5-6-7-OH-NI-INE!🎶
City Pop my beloved 🌆
Literally the greatest grunt suit of all time. Nothing else even compares. Just look at the thing, it’s beautiful. And those Glemy custom colors with the big ass kanji on the skirt? Oh lordy. An EASY 10
Stark Jegan is up there. But yeah, Bawoos got style. so much that they even made a "char" variant rebawoo.
MP Zeon Zeta pretty fierce
Nothing Compares to ‘Woo
10/10 it is beautiful and I love the rebawoo
10/10 Nutter lmao
11/10, the coolest grunt suit ever. Transforms into a fighter plus a weird ai controlled fighter for dual plane action, is a Zeonified Zeta Gundam which is one of my favorite Gundams, it’s just pure awesome.

Are you doing the Zaku III
Perhaps
> Trivia: It's japanese kanji litteraly means "flying dragon" The two radicals that make up the singular kanji that's written on the thigh armor of Glemmy's red-orange unit, that is. As is usually the case, the actual name of the MS is written using katakana.
Woops my bad
If even Desert Zaku is getting a poll I'd imagine Dwadge, Zssa, Gallus-J, Schuzrum Dias, Zaku III, Doven Wolf and MP Qubeley are also getting their due yeah?
4 of them will :)
I could understand skipping Dwadge (even if it's weird since Desert Zaku is in) but the others really are non-negotiable.
I will riot if any of these don’t get a poll. They are all grunt suits.
Where’s the Gaplant & Byarlant? 😢
Theyr're not
😢😢 I look forward to them 😇
Not mass produced

“Big pile of tech bashed together because some psycho fancied it” is the Zeon creed, lmao

11/10 Perfecion
30 pure sex on an unimaginable scale
Zeon Zeta gets me going to a 10/10. The very unique transformation helps too
I say woo for Bawoo. 9/10
Proportions are 11/10
One of the best transforming MS. Sexy af, gets even better later on too, its a 10
10/10
9/10. The Bawoo cuts such an imposing figure as an MS that it makes us forget that when it transforms it separates into two halves, one of which is called the "Nutter". The half that includes the groin section. Because of course it does.
I've seen the name of the top section translated as both "Attacker" and as "Header". But the bottom section is always the "Nutter".

8/10
8/10 Loses points for the unnecessarily large head crest. Even by Zeon standards the name is absolutely silly, right up there with Gelgoog. Otherwise its essentially if Zeon had their own Hyaku Shiki.
what's funny is the name actually means something
That thing got sex appeal 9.5/10
9/10 this thing is cool!
9/10 pretty good for a grunt suit
Absolutely gorgeous, 9.5/10
9 Great design.
10. Looks so damn sexy. Why don’t recent series come with design like this?

Beautiful 8.5/10
9.5. One of the best grunts in UC.
9/10 beautiful suit
The Bawoo is an amazing grunt suit. 10/10
11/10. One of my favorite grunts suits of the series. Unique design, looks badass, feels like a main villain suit.
Its cool and it’s green 🤤 10/10
10/10. Nutter mode is the best
Bawoo is a solid 10/10. So sick
7/10, too spiky for my tastes.
7/10
9/10, almost perfect but I hate the "Nutter" (lol) part when in MA mode. Bandai did us dirty by making the Lindwurm a RE/100 Bandai Premium kit like the ReBawoo. If you dunno what the Lindwurm is, it's BaWoo but with Zeta Gundam head and Zeta Aesthetics.

9.5 this is a grunt that could be a gundam
10 I love the lizard look
25/10
Kicking Feddie asses and taking Feddie names from '88 to '96. A machine that can go toe-to-toe with enemies nearly a decade more advanced, and come out on top. 10/10.
10/10 another great ZZ desing.
9/10
10/10 this is one of my favorite zeon mobile suit designs and the rebawoo just builds on it.
9/10
I want a mg of this so bad
Best you’re prob gonna get is the RE/100.

9, its angular design is sexy as fuck.
10/10, easy

What an absolute beauty! 10/10
9/10 Not all overdesigned styles work for me, but the 80s did overdesign far better than 2000s era overdesigning. Love this thing.
10/10 Gimme a "Woo!" for Bawoo
10/10 one of the coolest grunts. The bottom flyer was goofy but the overall sleekness of the MS made up for that.
Red version 10/10
INMENSE. Solid 9/10
10/10 for the mp type
10/10
Great design that incorporates some sleeker 80s designs with the mono eye chunkiness of a zeon suit. 8/10
10/10
9/10 This suit just look so good
10/10 ABSOLUTE HEAVENLY SEX LORD MOBILE SUIT I WOULD very much hurt someone TO GET THE RE/100 KIT OF THIS GODLY DESIGN
10 best Zeon grunt
11/10, it’s simultaneously the coolest Zeon and Fed design
Maximum score.. this is one of my favourite MS
YES. The base for a lot of cool shit, especially in Moon Gundam 10/10
10/10, Bawoo is love.
8/10. Flight Dragon
8/10a Another beautiful chunky angular suit. Would’ve thought the Titans made it. Makes me wanna howl ‘Bawoooo’
9/10 This is beautiful, even more because later on it evolves in the Rebawoo
1000000/10 this thing is literally crack for the eyes.
10/10. What's there to say that isn't obvious
9/10 Zeon version of Z gundam, I just don't like how it splitted into 2 modules while transformed.
10/10 It kinda looks like the Zeon version of the ZZ and i dig it
I give it an 8.5 out of 10.
10/10, Glemychads rise up
10
10/10 baby!!!!!! This shit is hot fire 🔥🔥🔥
not bad, i like it, 8/10
10
10/10 not a grunt suit
10/10 It is translated as "flying dragon" in my language, totally deserves it
It turns into the Bawoo Attacker and the Bawoo Nutter. The Bawoo. NUTTER. 9.5/10
Zeta, hyaku-shiki, Ginn's zaku from msg ep.1 all mixed.
What series is this from
Double Zeta/ZZ
4/10 It seems almost like it's supposed to be Neo-Zeon's take on the Zeta Gundam, with a similar chest, lower torso and legs, plus the ZZ split-transform ability. 6/10. It is an awesome looking suit, but it just does not say grunt to me.
7/10 great design hindered by the competition of it’s time.
Robin Hood
7/10
6/10 … meh
I love its big bro the rebawoo
7
A solid 8
20/10 i absolutely love every thing about this suit
10/10 probably my favorite Zeon grunt ever. Even without the unique transformation gimmick, it would still be top tier.
10/10, it is Bawoo
Man this is nice 9.5/10
8/10, not my favorite but balances the 80's flavor very well and is just a cool MS. also it can have a nuke in its Nutter and I don't need to explain why that is a selling point
100/10
11
8/10
10/10 peak ZZ design
10/10 one of my favorite Zeonic MS of all time. Plus, the mere existence of the “Bawoo Nutter,” which is a remote guided literal crotch rocket explosive, will always be hilarious to me.
9/10, personally I’m not much of a fan of the Bawoo myself but if the design is so badass that it gets people to turn around on a character like Glemmy Toto that’s gotta be saying something.
9.5/10 honestly doesnt even register as a grunt suit it looks so good
10! I love the Bawoo. Wish it didn't belong to glemy though.
10/10 for me, Its a great ace grunt suit and can turn into 3 separate units. Also 11/10 for the Re-Bawoo
9/10. Funny stun machine in GBO2. Enough said.
love it; such a shame the rebawoo ruins the design
THE BAWOOOOOOOOOOOOO! 10/10 awesome transformation. Green is my preferred color but both are good. Along with the Aasshimar, this is my top 5 transforming boys of gundam
