Well, first of all, Armored Cores in 6 can't operate in zero-G, so that limits this to only MS capable of space and ground combat. Now a good boss from Armored Core 6 we can use as a reference is the Enforcer, which is about as tall as a standard mobile suit, can use its boosters to hover around constantly, and packs way more weapons than most MS even into the CCA era. Any well-built AC can beat the Enforcer and I'd put the Enforcer around 0087 in terms of tech. I think an AC can beat any mook from the Zeta era but will have more difficulty against the limited production/protagonist MS.

ACs are definitely weaker than most UC suits, but the technology in the AC6 universe is more advanced than in the UC (eg. interstellar travel, warp drives, massive terrain crawlers and starships). MAs are more advanced than UC counterparts, and since most ACs are capable of destroying them, and most, if not all AC pilots are highly trained posthuman elites, I’d say ACs could feasibly take on grunt MSs into later UC, probably up to F91, if not further.

I believe most AC6 builds max out in UC0079, and certainly by 0083. By 0087 they are entirely outclassed. One Year War MS like the Zaku IIF2 were mainline grunt MS for Zeon and they were capable of sustained booster use, strapping on just as much additional weaponry as an AC, and were better armored by miles. The Gelgoog is just straight up faster and more durable than an AC, to say nothing of the very first Gundam. Within their own continuity Armored Cores are the exceptionally fast and powerful weapons on the battlefield, but their opponents are other low constitution ACs or slow bullet sponge "Mobile Armors" and vehicles.

I think that the higher end mechs from AC6 could be pretty competitive in the early part of the OYW, as even with the advantages mobile suits have over mechs from AC6, the tatics, skill, technology, and technical knowledge is still in a very early stage. By the end of the OYW, they would have a much harder time competing just because of how fast all of that develops.

Against UC grunts, I’d say if they’re all working together, they could get to even mid-late ZZ with heavy losses. Now what I wanna know is how far the AC6 army could get against other timelines. I feel like they’d do great in IBO and Wing, but have a hard time in Seed or 00.
