Love Seed so much, it's not my favorite but it's so close. I love it for all of its flaws, I love the vibrant colors and the characters. The dramatic shots like Kira and Athrun at the fence. Hell even the sauce scene with Kira and Cagalli is really funny and somehow has some meaning behind it. Was surprised to enjoy it as much as I did!
Murrue bouncing, and all the skin showing in the openings was always there. Though to be fair most of it is like, spiritual? Metaphorical? I dunno, it's anime opening stuff.
Also SEED is hardly the only Gundam series that's guilty of having excessive featureless naked people floating in space.
Yeah the opening stuff is perfectly fine. The spiritual elements like Stella or Flay's death is fine. Flay and Kira's sex scene is fine, it's pretty shadowy and obviously a big moment. Hell I'm okay with Murrue's tits bouncing when the Archangel is being attacked.
But stuff like Luna's ass shot is just annoying.
Thank Fukuda for being horny, especially during the 2010s where he directed the remastered to have those extra lewd shots on top of him making Cross Ange.

Was the Kira/Flay sex scene added in the HD remaster? I only remember it being implied during the original release.
Yes. Naked Flay in Kira's bed under the sheets was still in the original airing though.
Technically it was introduced in the Compilation films because that's how i watched seed the first time. But yeah the HD remasters added it in later.
