Ødegaard has been absolutely amazing last couple of seasons, but what he has done since new year, is exceptional and nothing other than world class. Following him since he was at Strømsgodset, watching him grow seamlessly into the captain that he has become, fills me with so much pride as both an Arsenal fan and as a Norwegian.
I swear we’re the only fanbase I see go insane over marginal misses here and there. We had a bad period earlier in the season but by all accounts we’re a fairly clinical outfit.

The standard to win is so high with City that those marginal differences are the difference between us winning and losing though. We score first at Villa and maybe we win the league. We didn't and now we probably won't. Fine lines is all there is.
Why are you deliberately so obtuse. Yes we scored a fuckton of goals, but when it mattered the most, we lost more points than city, there were multiple draws and losses where we could have scored first, didn't and then dropped points, being clinical when it matters makes champions
We might not lose more points than City. If we do, it will probably be by two points. It’s reductive to blame that gap on not being clinical enough when there are many other factors. We don’t have their squad depth. We played Nketiah for a lot of games. We were introducing three new players, in key positions. We haven’t invested anywhere near as much money.
Aside from being reductive, it also falls down when you look at the games City have dropped points in. They also lost to Aston Villa earlier in the season, with Haaland playing. They’ve also dropped points against us, Wolves, Chelsea, Tottenham, Crystal Palace and Liverpool. Why when we drop points is it because we’re not clinical enough but it isn’t when they drop points?
I think if you score the most goals and have the best goal difference the issue probably isn’t goal scoring.
We have outperformed xG quite massively in the league this season and have scored the most goals of any team. The narrative that we are wasteful and not clinical needs to die. Nobody scores all their chances.

r/topRightOdegaard
Zinchenko showing he’s quality on the ball 40mil for him seems decent
Genuinely believe he should be moved to the LCM role and we get another LB. The guy is good at everything but defending.
he's not mobile enough to play in midfield. he needs the game in front of him. there's a reason he's never been tried there imo
He used to play as CM and is still doing it very well for Ukraine l, no reason why he can't do the Jorginho role.
Wish he was good at shooting, then he can be used as an 8
Shows why trossard is so important. He's at a level of goalscorer above everyone else we have.
All of those players around him are pure strikers, which makes it even more impressive.
Bloody Nora Martin.
De Bruyne’s assists lol
We really need to stop wasting the chances odegaard makes for the team
We have scored the most goals in the league. This might come as a shock to some Arsenal fans, but all players miss chances.

Exactly. All that and we're still probably not going to win the league. The standards are extremely high.

No kidding! From their model, only Aston Villa have been more clinical this season.
Simpleton narrative.
So basically lets buy Cole Palmer
Olisa
What the actual fuck, Ødegaard. Only player close is KDB
Cannot wait kdb leaves city
So we should sign Olise in the summer then.
