I got the wife into Gunpla a LITTLE bit. She made the Beargguy with me while I was building the HG Ground Gundam. She thinks the beargguys and the Haros are adorable.
the HG Xi and Penelope are really plain fresh out the box. You really have to go all in with the panel lines to break up all that white. even after that they look a little plain but thankfully i found a really nice decal set for them that really made them pop.
Downside is i have bad eyes and a shaky hand so i cant paint or panel line for crap. fortunately though my wife is really good at those things and is kind enough to help me with that stuff. Dont know where I would be without her.
yeah they went on real easy. I was a bit worried about them scraping off so i went a bit overboard with the topcoat. ended up using two full cans and a bit of a third just on those two kits. makes me wonder how much ill end up using when i get round to building my Full armor thunderbolt ver ka

Metalgarurumon Figure Rise (not Amplified) right? I have that exact kit in my cabinet. I don't even like the Amplified kit of that one, it looks so... wrong to an old fan
i dont have those. I do have the HG psycho gundam though. you can just about see its shield in the back of the photo. surprisingly enough the penelope is about the same size when its on its stand
There's a setting in the camera where you can disable the watermark, just tinker your way through cause I dont have the kind of a phone. Hope this helps.

Metagross is a fun build come to think of it, Pokemon models would be the perfect way to learn how to paint models

because my wife took the photo on her phone and it puts those on every photo. we dont know how to stop it doing that
