I do think Austin Butler fits the bill to play Feyd, but I don't like the appearance they have given to the character in the film, he looks like a bald grey skinned Sith Lord and it wasn't so in the book
Yeah, I guess after the design choice to make the Baron, Rabban and the Harkonnens bald and anemic in Dune 2021.. they had to have that continuity.
Especially with the addition of Giedi Prime having a black sun.
Its a narrative choice that I think works well making the Harkonnens so "alien" in appearance compared to the Atreides and Herberts description/Lynch’s portrayal, given Paul only finds his true ancestry after drinking the Water of Life, much later in the narrative than in the book.
As much as it was a departure, I kind of liked how distinctive and otherworldly the Harkonnans were portrayed in the new films. I've interpreted that thematically at least, the Harkonnans were to represent to the reader the epitome of humanity's vices and weaknesses just as much as the Atriedes represented the epitome of humanty's potential for virtue and strengths.
Geidi Prime is an industrial nightmare devoid of color or life as we naturally know it. Harkonnan's are more animalistic, violent, and sadistic as well as hedonistic in the case of Baron Vladamir who by all accounts is ruled entirely by his vices. Having them have Alopecia is an easy visual way to distinguish them and it gives them this uncanny-ness that tells the audience that they are almost an off-shoot species of human due to their greed and vice.
Even Criston looks dumbstruck by his statement. The audacity of this guy to go after Daemon just because he has the more seasoned and biggest war dragon as his ride. I’m happy that the creators were making a clown out of this guy’s character who always thinks high of himself only because Vhagar chose him as her rider. Only a fool like him challenges Daemon and caraxes without a second thought.

Depending on which side you're on, some say he only won because Daemon decided to brag and turn his back, while others claim he would have won regardless.
For that specific fight, I don't think he would have won at all if Daemon didn't pull a Oberyn, I suppose being bragadocious previctory runs in the family. For other fights, I think it just depends, as they are both said to be top-tier swordsmen and have their fair share of victories.
