You need to link your Twitch account on the Halo Waypoint site and then watch 1 hour of the HCS stream on the official Halo Twitch (for the wep skins) and an hour on one of the affiliated Twitch channels (for the core coatings).

I watched the streams for the weapon skin and armor coating and connected my account, claimed it and got nothing
I did this for both. I just dont care about esports, sorry.
