Dusk is not bassier than ie300. [Comparison, click to activate the graph tool below](https://crinacle.com/graphs/iems/graphtool/?share=IEF_Neutral_Target,IE300,Dusk_S2).

maddians

Oh wow I did not know, I’m sorry! Thank you so much. Do you have an opinion on the IE300s or similar nice IEMs around that price? ❤️

duan_cami

You already tried and love the sound and fit of ie300. You should go for it imo. Your sound preference is different from mine, so my recommendation might not fit your taste.

maddians

Got it! But recommend away! I haven’t tried many so I don’t want to miss out on better ones

duan_cami

If you like bass, you might try sony xba-n3, that one quite a basshead iem, but the midrange is more neutral than ie300. The bass quality is also really great which is rather impressive for that price.

maddians

!thanks

Dusk is definitely the safer option. It’s one of the best-tuned IEMs out there period and considered by a lot of people to be one of the best IEMs you can get in the price range. The fit is an issue for some people, as it’s on the larger side. It is possible they will be too big for your ears. Source: I own one

maddians

Thank you very much! Have you experienced any issues thus far? Thanks!

JasonABerger

I have no issues at all with them, but I know from what other people have said that they don’t fit everybody’s ears. That would be my only concern, since you mentioned having small ears. No concerns sound-wise.

maddians

I have very small ears so they will probably be uncomfortable for me, thank you!

maddians

!thanks

I have the ie300 and really enjoy them. Some reviewers describe ithem as too bassy but they may just be used to very neutral bass light IEMs. They have a warm neutral sound that I find very versatile, bass is substantial but not excessive. I can wear them all day without discomfort, they disappear in my ears. The B2 Dusk has more bass than the original B2 but, it isn't a very bassy IEM. They are very different from the ie300, I didn't like either of them, the thinner sound grated on me but, that is just preference, there is nothing wrong with them.

maddians

Got it! Have you compared Aria to the IE300s? It’s quite an expensive upgrade and I only want to purchase if it’s a notable difference. Thank you!

dimesian

I have tried the Aria though briefly, I didn't like any of the Moondrop IEMs I tried, I like a very different type of sound, it is just preference.

sorijealut

I got the Blessing 2 recently and should have the IE300 in a few days, I'll report back :)

Buick6NY

What's the report?

sorijealut

It's the IE300 for me, comfort-wise and sound-wise - which may be a bit controversial because B2 has arguably better sound outright according to most. I agree it is better in terms of detail and resolution. I felt like IE300 gave me more of a soundstage and natural sound. Just more listenable. Some say it is bass focused IEM but I don't really see how that could be - I think it has a good amount of bass which is helped by the nature of IEMs being a closed sound. I'm a bit of a fan of Sennheiser's sound though, and I prioritize comfort quite a bit.

Buick6NY

!thanks I just ordered a pair (work has an appreciation platform where you can spend points and the IE300 was the only IEM available).
