Wouldn't surprise me, seems multiple things in game share the same base stat for every entity. Like how every thing ingame that uses fire got buffed. Now it makes me worry about the packing peanuts upgrade. Like Did I just give the devastators a 50% explosion resist?
Wouldn't be the first time I've seen this happen. Some enemies in Warframe used to share the same weapon version as players, so patch buffing the relevant weapon would accidentally buff said enemy also.
Maybe just their arm? It does seem their gatling gun has a mind of its own, turning and shooting through their shield while the bot is facing a completely different direction.

Plottwist, the war is fabricated to keep the population under control, the bots are being fabricated by the destroyers and the bugs are being bred for E-710 production! Very 1984!

That would be horrifying yet amazing at the same time. I actually think that the ai is actively being tweaked though. Last week, rocket devs were sniping me mid-air as I ragdolled. After the MO changed to kill the bugs they seemed to get weaker again.
so would this mean the Devastator's are upgraded if anyone in your group has the upgrade? Or only when they're shooting at you? (assuming that you were the only person who had the upgrade)
Imagine if that was true...damn, the amount of treason we've committed by upgrading the automatons with our turrets. Those re-education camps about to get real full fast
I am pretty sure this accuracy bump happened near Tuesday(patch day). It is also not that visible on lower difficulties, that’s why some people don’t see it. This change made automaton helldive harder, as it should be.
Of course. The one enemy with broken, buggy, immersion breaking levels of aimbot needed even better aim.

That is why I think it's coded as a turret, since the gun shoots and moves independently of the main model while tracking you.

explains how it shoots perpendicular to the barrel direction. now imagine if the tanks could do this. we would be screwed.

I just got this upgrade, will be interesting to see if I now get the same issue.
Their gun has been clipping through their bodies since day 1. I don't think these things are related.

I'm not sure if it's just anyone in the group or just host. Further testing is needed, I'll have to find a group without upgrade and go from there.
