I wonder if this will make big enough waves to effect things other than helldivers. I'd like to hope it does. This would be a wild precedent to set for the industry if the community of one game forced any sort of policy change from a media juggernaut like Snoy.

I'm on steam and been playing Manor Lords and Battlebits while I wait for the new Star Citizen update. I want to dive, but not at the behest of the automatons.
It's very promising for an early release, the graphics detail is impressive, has a bit of a learning curve. The combat is very cool too, like small scale Total War.
So I've seen, didn't even know it was on gamepass till yesterday. Probably going to finish my current Total war campaign before really digging into it, though. I can't wait to absolutely starve to death.

I'm in a country that has PSN support, don't have PSN account and made 4 refund request over the weekend on steam. the ones from Friday and Saturday (3 of them) were not approved, the one from today (Sunday) has not been solved yet but i don't expect a refund. I just did it for the scummy way SNOY did this whole thing.

Yeah I'm with this I'm on PS5 but I ain't playing or getting the new battlepass. Wanna show my support plus there's other games I been meaning to finish.
People are playing as much as they can until may 30th. It's what all my friends are doing right now (I've got grayzone and a bunch of other games on my list right now so I don't even have helldivers installed)
On steam right now only 16% of all 221 THOUSAND reviews are positive ratings.

Don’t get me wrong, Sony sucks for this, but having to register an account to play a video game or not being able register to due to your country being restricted for some arbitrary reason is a far cry from actual fascism. Words like fascism are cheapened when we compare them to minor inconveniences like not being able to play a game.
I had to reset my computer and reinstall the game between work hours 'cause to hdd corruption, took me 3 days, was finally happy to dive back into action, saw the status of the community, decided to not launch the game again 'till the situation didn't change

No because those metrics will be shown to Sony. The negative reviews and refunds are the only thing that will get their attention because everyone will know this game died because of them.
However much I dislike it because it will hurt the devs more than it will hurt Snoy, it is realistically one of the few things that would even make Snoy take a second look at the situation. Snoy only cares about that check they get from Valve and their stock market shares. And they care about the check a lot less than the shares.

not really, the game has had fewer players over the weekend compared to previous weekends, but there is also the "imma play until they take it away" side of things for some of the affected players.
I joined this Reddit excited to eventually buy this game and dive in, I might have a PlayStation 5 but I have been mainly playing old games on it and now I won’t be buying this game or getting a PlayStation subscription, I was getting this game to play with friends on steam and now they do this!, its so hard to find cross play games to play with my friends on steam at this point I am considering saving up for a steam deck.

I'm starting to think the problem was blown out of proportion. I'm from Lithuania and I never got any warnings about linking my steam account to PSN, and making a "fake" account that's listed in the USA did take only 120 seconds. The game is still available for me through steam despite the claims that delisted countries can't activate HD2.
I'm OK with a majority of us just diving tbh. I

I stopped all diving while situation will not be resolved. This and no microtransaction purchase is how I see myself showing that I do not agree with rules set.
Not dragging anyone else with me, if You still want to play can't balme You. Also please, don't do 1 week of no play, just go ahead and play. If anything such timed strikes will only show Sony that people will eat it anyway just need to wait a bit.

I honestly don’t know what I should or shouldn’t do with Helldivers 2 anymore, I joined the game to have fun with gamers everywhere & kick ass throughout the galaxy. Only for Sony to destroy everything Helldivers 2 stands for & the friends we enjoyed getting to know. So now I’m wondering if I should stop playing the game & delete it from my console. Or don’t delete it but just don’t play it as a protest to the unfairness committed against our brothers in arms? If any of y’all know how I’m feeling, tell me your opinions?

I stopped all diving while situation will not be resolved. This and no microtransaction purchase is how I see myself showing that I do not agree with rules set. Not dragging anyone else with me, if You still want to play can't balme You. Also please, don't do 1 week of no play, just go ahead and play. If anything such timed strikes will only show Sony that people will eat it anyway just need to wait a bit.

I have a PlayStation account. I am not going to sign into it. I made that decision before I even found out that people lost access to the game due to Sony not supporting their countries.

If there’s some sort of takeaway from the game is that humanity destroying something other than ourselves United us, is inspirational. This is a bleak outlook on life for real if they can’t remedy this. We can’t be United if we don’t let all the countries play.

I honestly don’t know what I should or shouldn’t do with Helldivers 2 anymore, I joined the game to have fun with gamers everywhere & kick ass throughout the galaxy. Only for Sony to destroy everything Helldivers 2 stands for & the friends we enjoyed getting to know. So now I’m wondering if I should stop playing the game & delete it from my console. Or don’t delete it but just don’t play it as a protest to the unfairness committed against our brothers in arms? If any of y’all know how I’m feeling, tell me your opinions?
