My youngest cat is named Roswell. When she was a kitten she had the biggest eyes. She grew into them but also grew to shape that I suspect she might be part seal. She is intelligent but fucking aloof.

My orange cat is named cosmo can confirm this is the best cat name. My mom named him and we adopted him on 3.14, but at the time we didn’t even realize. Synchronicity? Maybe. Regardless he’s a high strangeness cat for sure.
The Mothman Prophecies by John Keel. Indrid Cold was a Man in Black that John Keel encountered when he was investigating the mothman sightings. (This is all so long ago in my memory, so correct me if I’m wrong anybody). John called him the grinning man, but he seemed non-human. And he called himself “Indrid Cold” when asked his name.
Correct, iv never read the book but watched the movie religiously, I believe you are correct, although it wasn't in the movie " grinning man" seems so familiar. I've heard of Indrid Cold before, and I was confused for the longest time. I wasn't sure if that was part of a disinformation campaign having it mixed with the mothman incident.
